Matt Sydal stands beside Corey Graves in a backstage exclusive, after Sacrifice.

Corey Graves: Many would say you have been coming up short recently. Especially at the biggest chances in your career, what do you think?

Reborn: That is true, it's not a dig to me or anything, it is a factual thing. I am a workhorse though. While training to be a wrestler, I worked at Scoops ice cream parlor and I still was able to graduate high school and master the Spanish language, while wrestling full time on the indies I was in Missouri University and I graduated with my bachelor's in marketing. Also while wrestling full time I worked for my uncle's mailbox company as Vice President.

When I was touring in Japan, I learnt Japanese and also began studying physics.

Corey Graves: So, everyone works hard. What makes you so different?

Reborn: I am driven, I have my reputation because I prove myself . . .

Corey Graves: You don't prove yourself though, you lose. You lost tonight!

Matt Sydal sighs and is visibly offended but he remains civil as well as truthful.

Reborn: I have no excuses, I went out there tonight I had my moments but ultimately I lost to Karl Anderson, he's no slouch, he's awesome at what he can do. This week I'm going to prove that I belong here, that I am what I say I am. I am going to take down Jay Lethal and the next week I'm going to take Karl Anderson one on one myself and beat him.
