Corey Graves:
I'm here with Reborn Matt Sydal. You did what you said you were going to do and defeated Jay Lethal,
how does that impact what is next when you take on The Miz.
Reborn Matt Sydal:
Well Miz and Jay Lethal are different. Miz is an underrated talent, he's a pragmatic competitor.
He's stolen my move, the corner flying lariat he calls the Awesome close line. When it comes to facing Miz it does not matter if you are a better technician because he's crafty, he is driven. It is not all respect and friendliness though, I am so happy to kick the veneers out of his frog face, crack his ribs with the Shooting Sydal Press and tap him out with the Namaste Lock.
Corey Graves: What are your goals here in EBWF after Miz?
Reborn: I know I can take Jericho or Enzo but I also know I still have dues to pay and people to beat. Karl Anderson I need to get revenge on. There are dream singles matches for me and wrestling fans against Nakamura, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, PJ Black, Alex Shelley. If I could have more of anything it would be singles matches where I don't have to lose without being pinned and I can face these guys on my own. Miz is a multi time champion, beating him places me at a higher rank and the true key to being successful is to be undeniable, I do not just want to beat The Miz, I need to, I have to beat The Miz because if I lose, I could be kept off the show, my rank among the roster lower than it is already is.
