Matt Sydal looks at the match card on his phone as he walks into the arena.
He looks up and begins to talk to the cameramen catching him as he walks around the halls.
Matt: I just found out I’m going to be facing off with a rival, an enemy, Sheamus.
Sheamus is a battler, a warrior, a brawler but he has underrated technique and fourteen years of experience. There has been a lot of talk about my current run here and I should point out this a new journey since I have been reborn. I have had great victories, I have also lost a lot more than I have wanted to but I take full responsibility for all my mistakes.
In a negative outlook you can bring up how I have been fined for smoking weed with RVD, I have lost every number one contendership big match but I will not rest on my laurels, I refuse to be satisfied and I have plenty of success to be happy with but I’m not.
Sheamus is going to mock me for my size but he can’t knock what I do, because win lose or draw whenever we have stepped into the ring together he ends up winded and wiped out. I look at all these amazing wrestlers on the card, on the roster guys I have met and tagged with or wrestled against. I AM on the same level as AJ Styles and I refuse to be just a mechanic, just a helpful hand and just a fringe performer. I have opened the show, I have main evented and everything in between because from bell to bell I keep the EBWF fans on their feet and hyped up, I take my opponents to their limit and I show that I am the best super junior in this universe! ’ Some are born to fight, some are born to sin, I was born to fight the fire and all of you within.
