Seth Rollins? That Don't Impress Me Much

Alex Riley's in ring career was off to a great start. After his win over The Miz at Fanniversary- he followed it up, with helping Sami Zayn earn a pin fall victory over Jimmy Havoc and Baron Corbin. Next on the agenda for EBWF's newest Rising Star would be Seth Rollins. A man who has had a tremendous amount of success in the EBWF as of late, and another individual whom, if Alex found a way to topple, would really help A-Ri continue to gain even more momentum.

The scene opened up backstage at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin- the site of EBWF Warfare. There was a house show in progress, as a match concluded. On the tron, the fans went crazy as they saw a huge limo pulling up outside of the arena. The anticipation turned to pure joy, when they saw Alex Riley step out of the limo. He was in a dark blue suit, and wore sunglasses over his eyes. He got out of the limo, and adjusted his suit with a smile. He shut the door, and an "OW" was heard from behind the now mostly closed door. Pushing forward shoulder first, was The Miz- he had 4 suitcases in his hands, and a shirt that read- "I'm The Help" on the front and as he got out of the limo, it revealed "Kill Me." On the back. He looked slightly disoriented and disheveled as he got out of the limo. Alex barely acknowledged his existence, as he took a deep breath in of the Wisconsin air. The limo drove off almost running over Miz foot. Alex smile turned to a look of discontent as he saw Miz struggling some with his luggage. You could almost see his eyes rolling behind his sunglasses.

Alex Riley: Hey Michaela.. you doing okay with those bags princess?

Miz was not amused.

The Miz: Just awesome.

Alex Riley: Yeah you used to be... but now you're just the help. Love that shirt by the way, great choice.

The Miz: You made me wear it.

Alex Riley: And I have excellent taste- taste is just one of the many excellent things about me Miz. Also included is my in ring ability.. I mean you know about it.. you lost to me the only time we've faced each other.

The Miz: I remember.

Alex Riley: And the whole world saw it last week, when Sami Zayn and I earned a victory over Havoc and Corbin.. and guess what, Miz?

The Miz sighed deeply.

The Miz: What?

Alex Riley: They are going to get to see it again tomorrow night on Warfare, when I go head to head.. and surely defeat Seth Rollins in the middle of the ring.. ONE.. TWO.. THREE. You see Miz- I'm on fire.. do you even remember what that's like? I literally am the talk of the EBWF, mostly because now that you finally shut up, other people can actually talk.

The crowd cheered as they watched Riley talk down to his former employer.

Alex Riley: Do you know what they are saying, Miz? Hm? Do you? They are saying that my victory over you was the best thing for the EBWF. They're saying that our curren arrangement, is how it should have been from day one. They are saying the the cream always rises to the top, and the big lumps of crap always sink to the bottom. Miz- for years, even before we started working together, I watched you talk down to people out of your own insecurity. Because deep down, you knew, that you just weren't all that good- and now your silence is the best noise that anybody who gives a crap about this business has heard in a long time. You deserve this Miz, every second of it. I do have to thank you though, you are my motivation.

The Miz: I'll play along.. how am I your motivation?

Alex Riley: Thanks for playing along.. what a sport.. you are my motivation, because I know how much it is KILLING you to not be in the ring right now. I know it's eating you alive, to have to go down to ringside and watch me compete. KNOWING that because I BEAT YOU- that you can't even wrestle for one entire year. As much as I know that's trying your patience- I know it's going to be even worse.. for you.. and better for me.. and well everyone else.. when I start achieving YOUR GOALS- and the things you OBSESS over. It starts on Monday when I beat Seth Rollins, a man who you always had a hell of a time defeating. Miz the reason why you've always had a tough time with Rollins.. is because you suck... and he's... well he's just average.. which is more than good enough to give you fits.

The Miz: So are you saying you're average?

Alex thought for a second.

Alex Riley: Miz, Miz, Miz- there is nothing average about me. Just ask your mom.

The Miz gave him a look as if to say "ha ha."

Alex Riley: Let's go..

Alex walked ahead of Miz and Miz grabbed Riley's 4 bags. The two men made their way through the backstage area. After several beats- Riley and Miz ended up at a dressing room that had "Alex Riley" written inside of a star on it. Alex entered the room- and standing in there already was Renee Young.

Alex Riley: Well hello Renee, what are you doing here? I didn't text you last night to meet me here did I?

Renee smiled, understanding he was implying that the two of them hook up.. when they do not.

Renee Young: Very funny Alex. Sorry to just barge in, they said you'd be in here and I was hoping to get a few words.

Alex Riley: Oh no problem at all hun. You want anything, like a water, a soda, some M&M's?

Renee Young: No that's OK I'm fine.

Alex Riley: Are you sure? I have a guy who literally will run out and get us anything we want.

The Miz rolled his eyes behind Alex. Renee kind of caught this, and quickly began thinking about how poorly Miz had treated her over the years.

Renee Young: On second thought, I'm really in the mood for a creamsicle.. you know like those orange ice creams..

Alex Riley: Oh yeah with the filling in the middle. That sounds awesome.

Alex snapped his fingers, The Miz glared at Renee who gave almost an evil smile, and like that Miz was out the door. Alex and Renee shared a laugh as the fans cheered.

Renee Young: So Alex- while we wait for our ice cream. What's on your mind going into your match tomorrow night with Seth Rollins?

Alex Riley: What's on my mind is pretty simple Renee. Seth Rollins is a guy who's no stranger to success around here. He and his group "The Broken" have literally "broken" the hopes and dreams of a lot of superstars that they've come across over the past several months. Most guys, have a tough time with a guy like Seth Rollins-. However, Renee, I'm not most guys. He may be Seth freaking Rollins.. but I'm Alex FREAKING Riley. I'm destined to be at the top of this business, it's all I've ever thought about and dreamed about.. and my hopes and dreams aren't going to be "BROKEN" not tonight, and not ever Renee. Seth Rollins may think he is good a what he does, but trust me.. I'm better. Seth- you might intimidate and impress some people, but you don't do either to me. So you're the Intercontinental Champion.. it's like Shania Twain once said Renee..

She was picking up what he was putting down.

Alex and Renee (in unison): That don't impress me much!

The crowd cheered. Alex continued singing.

Alex Riley: So you got the belt, but you well.. kinda suck... now don't get me wrong... yeah I think you're alright.. but that don't mean you ready for A-Ri in a fight!

Renee was caught up in the moment and made the guitar sounds of the song.

Renee Young: That don't impress me much!

Alex Riley: Exactly- like why am I supposed to be impressed by this guy? Taka Michinoku held that title- hell the moron who is on a Creamsicle run for us right now has held it like 6 times. Excuse me if I don't fall over myself about facing the Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins. Excuse me if I don't worry too much about facing a guy with wet black hair and the only dude I've ever seen with resting bitch face. Like seriously bro, smile, what are you so upset about? Is it because you can't ever seem to find a towel to dry your hair? Is it because you need more eyeliner and Jimmy Havoc took it all? Like what it is it? Well I can tell you what it's going to be on Warfare, you are going to be sporting a classic amount of RBF, and it's because you are going to be upset, you are going to want to bitch.. because you are going to catch an epic beating bro- courtesy of A-Ri- and there's nothing you or any of your little heavy metal boy band members can do about it. Your run is over my man, it's done. You've won some matches, you've won some irrelevant titles, but all of that is out the window, see ya- bye bye.. because that was all in the BAR time.

Renee Young: The BAR time?

Alex Riley: Yeah babe- the "Before Alex Riley" time. You see there's a lot of people in this company right now that think they are hot stuff. They think that they have what it takes to be the #1 guy around here. The reason they think that, is because guys like me have been kept down for the last several months. Not anymore though Renee, after Fanniversry the only thing that meant for everyone else that isn't named The Miz- is that any success they've had or think they are about to have.. is either finished or finished before it even starts. Seth Rollins is a perfect example of a dude who was successful in the BAR time.. but now that it's LWAR time.

Renee Young: Ohhh let me guesss.. life with Alex Riley time?

Alex Riley: Bingo.

The two exchanged a flirty high five.

Alex Riley: Now that it's LWAR time- guys like Seth Rollins can get themselves resigned to the fact that it's time to hit the back of the line. It's time to let that false sense of accomplishment and bravado that he's acquired recently fall by the way side. It's time for him to fall back into the mentality he without question grew up with. Last pick in gym class, sat alone at lunch, only fantasized about dating the popular girl. That's you Seth- that's you. Maybe that's why he's so mad all the time- maybe that's why you're ESPECIALLY mad now. I think that's got to be it Renee, seeing me rise to stardom, is giving poor Seth flashbacks to those horrible days of being a loser his entire life. He's finally found a little bit of self worth and accomplishment, and in strolls someone like me. Someone who was picked first in gym class- who threw the winning touchdowns,a guy who everyone wants to be around at the lunch table, a guy who dated the popular girl. In strolls someone who made kids like Seth's life a living hell.. and he just sees it coming again Renee. He knows that's exactly what is about to happen to him now as an adult. The thought of that Renee- is going to literally.. "break" him. No pun intended... OK it was a little bit intended.

Renee Young smiled.

Renee Young: Clever.

Alex Riley: I really try.. only the best puns for Green Bay Wisconsin!

The crowd popped. As Alex Riley gave a Mick Foley esque thumbs up.

Renee Young: So any final thoughts for Seth Rollins?

Alex Riley: Yeah- lighten up Seth. You and all of your little cronies need to chill. I mean it's not like you were going to be successful forever. Through all the angst, and all the weird interviews and endless dialogue you HAD to know, that someday, someone was going to come along and call you all out for being the no talent nerds that you are. You had to know someone was going to come along, and send you back to your parents basements so you can play World of Warcraft together, and stop bothering everyone. You had to know, that someday someone was going to come around- who not only wasn't going to be intimidated or scared to face you- but that was TRULY in every way shape or form, fully willing and able to kick the living crap out of you. That day Seth Rollins... is tomorrow night.. that SOMEBODY.. is Alex Riley..

Alex mocked Seth's resting bitch face.

Alex Riley: I just have one question for you chief....

He mocked the face once more.

Alex Riley: You mad bro?

Alex winked into the camera. As Miz arrived with the ice cream. Renee and Alex both grabbed one from Miz, and continued out the door.

The Miz: YOU'RE WELCOME!

The crowd continued to pop the mistreatment of Miz, as the scene faded out.
