At Royal Rumble- The Rock dropped the Intercontinental Championship to The Miz- in a hard fought match. In the match The Rock suffered a knee injury that kept him out of action for the better part of this year. Behind the scenes, it had been rumored that The Rock would be returning to EBWF Programming- but nobody really knew when. Last week on Warfare the world finally got their answer, when Stone Cold Steve Austin announced that The Rock would be Chris Jericho's opponent at CEOD in a Last Man Standing Match. This announcement was much to the chagrin of Jericho, who was looking, instead, for a rematch with AJ Styles for the EBWF Title. His situation quickly went from bad to worse, when Austin delivered a stunner to Chris, which went right into a Rock Bottom from The People's Champ. Not exactly a great Monday for the record setting Y2J. It was the Rock's hope that Christmas Eve would not be much better.

The scene opened backstage at an EBWF House Show the Week of Christmas Eve of Destruction. Renee Young was pacing waiting for the arrival of someone. She was still in the backstage area, but through the opening ahead you could see the parking lot. After several beats, a huge limo pulled up. You could hear the house crowd in the background come unglued when the camera zoomed into an expensive leather shoe, and zoom all the way up a fancy designer suit to a face that the EBWF fans had been waiting to see again all of 2016. It was the People's Champ- The Rock. He had a serious look on his face, as sunglasses covered his eyes. He looked at Renee and then out into space again.

The Rock: FINALLY THE ROCK HASSSSS COME BACKKKKK TO MSG!!!

A lot of the crowd thought he was going to say New York, but cheered even louder when he went with MSG.

The Rock: You see Renee, The Rock is just going to stop you before you even start. Which The Rock assumes doesn't happen to you much, does it mama?

Renee smiled and shrugged, she went to answer, but again The Rock interrupted as only he can get away with.

The Rock: You see Renee it has been 11 LONG months, and The Rock has finally once again, made his return to an EBWF ring. Last week on Warfare- when Stone Cold Steve Austin SHOCKED THE WORLDDD Renee, announcing that Chris Jericho- on Christmas Eve- going ONE.. ON.. ONE.. with The Great One.

The Rock: You see Renee, The Rock has been waiting, working, training, clanging and banging- getting himself ready to return. Getting himself ready to hear that iconic theme music "IF YA SMELL" and walk down that ramp, into the people's ring, and well quite frankly give someone an ass kicking of a lifetime. IN the Rock's vision he saw that somebody, being The Miz... but now it would appear that due to recent events, The Rock- going to have to wait.. because with Alex Riley's victory over The Miz- it looks like The Miz is going to have his hands full with laundry, coffee runs, being the designated driver, holding mini Alex when Riley has to pee pee.

The crowd popped as Rock said "pee pee" with no smile, just a straight face.

The Rock: So again- the Rock waits. Now The Rock figured Renee, what better way to wait than in the ring- kicking the monkey piss out of someone- OH SO VERY SIMILAR. Chris Jericho- also blonde. Chris Jericho- Also self centered. Chris Jericho- Also feminine. Chris Jericho- also used to getting things in this business just handed to him by other people. Which is fine, The Rock knows how the business works.. there are different ways to get ahead. It's good to have friends in high places that can hand you things around here. SO The Rock is going to keep it casual Renee, he's going to keep it comfortable for Chris Jericho, because The Rock is going to hand.. Chris Jericho something to.. The Rock.. is simply put, going to hand Chris Jericho his left boot, then The Rock is going to take it back from Chris, turn it sideways, and STICK IT STRAIGHT UP HIS CANDY ASS.. COME CHRISTMAS EVE!

The crowd was going nuts, and a Rocky chant broke out. Renee, as many reporters have done before her, just stood their smiling holding the microphone up, as The Rock continued.

The Rock: You see Chris Jericho, The Rock doesn't really care if you're a two time champion, a five time champion, a fifty time champion, a champion at bad mitton, a boggle champion, a champion of eating chicken nuggets at McDonalds. The fact is at Christmas Eve, you are going to be a champion of getting your monkey ass whopped all over NEW YORK CITY! The Rock is back once again- and it's only fitting that it's at Christmas Eve of Destruction is the event he returns, because destruction is exactly what The Rock- has on his mind. Chris Jericho- The Rock- last man standing- is going to be epic. It's going to be a match that people are talking about, it's going to be a match that people tell their families on Christmas Day that they witnessed. Not because they got to see Chris Jericho- record amount of EBWF Championship reigns, glitter jacket wearing, off key singing, fruity tooty bitch boy. No- no- no- NO.. it'll be because they got to see the trail blazin la la la la la, pie eating, jabroni beating, step through the mist, the only thing in Jericho's stocking is The Rock's fist, PEOPLE's CHAMP- The Rock.

The Rock: You see Chris- no matter how many times you hold the EBWF Championship- no matter how many times your little Roody Poo buddy Wes Ikeda says..

The Rock did a whiny mocking voice.

The Rock: "Here you go Chris.. you are da champion again- how's it feel to be da champion again.. Let's go play laser tag together and drink root beer floats because you are da champion again. You've been da champion 200 times.. and for some reason.. I just.. I just don't get it.. because you.."

Back to his normal voice.

The Rock: ABSOLUTELY SUCK. You see The Rock- champion or not champion- is an icon. The Rock, Chris- is the REAL ayotollah of Rock n Rolla- The Rock, Chris- is TRULY without a shadow of a doubt.. the best in the world at what he does- and as you are about to find out Chris- what The Rock does- is quite simply beat the living hell out of screeching, love handle having, jabroni's like you.. and that is EXACTLY what The Rock is going to do, come Christmas Eve. You see Chris, The Rock is in the holiday spirit, and this last man standing match, well it reminds me of one of The Rock's favorite Christmas Stories.. would you like to hear The Rock's Christmas Story, Renee?

The crowd was going nuts, and Renee smiled and nodded her head.

The Rock adjusted himself getting very dramatic.

The Rock:
TWAS the night before christmas and all through the stands
People were debating if Y2J's jacket.. should be worn.. by a man.

The Rock paused already interrupted by a huge pop. He kept a straight face.

The bleachers were filled from bottom to top.
Waiting for a superstar.. that noone could stop.

The people were nestled all up in their seats
knowing that soon Y2J- would have his candy ass beat.
Matches went by in what seemed like a flash
as Y2J rubbed ointment on what Wes told him- was only a rash.

The Rock cocked his eyebrow quick which got a huge reaction from the crowd.

The tension was growing- it was finally here
what all had been waiting for- for most of this year.
The best to do it now- and even way back when.
The man who would surely knock- Chris down for a ten.

Y2J hit the ring and the people they jeered.
As his belly bounced up and down full of pudding and beer.
No- this was not- the man they all seeked.
They cared not for this man- whose widow did peak.

Then in an instant, electricity came
and there were literally MILLIONS.. chanting his name.

The Rock paused and a "Rocky" chant broke at a very loud volume.

The Rock did what he does- fast and with class
as he took pleasure in beating Chris Jericho's ass.
The people no longer- need not be lookin'
because their champion was back....

The Rock cocked an eye brow- and the house crowd in NYC lost their minds in excitement as the scene faded to black.
