Bad Luck

Velvet Sky was busy getting the last minute touches done on her hair and makeup before her appearance in the Royal Rumble this evening. Velvet was in the middle of a conversation with the makeup artist, Eileen, when she was abruptly cut off by a male's laughter. Velvet pursed her lips together, recognizing the husky laugh without even lifting her eyes.

Velvet: What. do. you. even want right now?

PJ: I'm in the Royal Rumble obviously.

Velvet: Yeah? So am I, big deal.

PJ shook his head and ran a hand through his beard. He leaned down near her and checked his own reflection out in the mirror. Velvet tried to move away and looked repulsed.

Velvet: Listen, go away. Don't you have more important things to do then bug the hell out of me?

PJ winked at her and used the palm of his hand to ruffle the hair on the top of her head. She instantly got up out of the chair which caused PJ Black to step back a few steps. He threw his arms up mockingly.

PJ: Oh no, don't hurt me. Not before my big match.

PJ laughed as she glared a hole through him with her intense gaze. She straightened out her hair once more and sighed before looking back at him.

Velvet: It's hard to believe there was ever any likable qualities about you. What an idiot I was... ha. It's a shame it took me so long to see what a piece of crap you really are.

PJ: Ah, yes but look at me now!

Velvet: Yeah, a polished turd.

Velvet muttered to herself. PJ blew off the comment.

PJ: I am longest reigning PTG champion AND longest defending singles champion...EVER. I'm gonna win this Rumble tonight, and I'm taking the World title at Wrestlemania. I've been on one hell of a winning streak since I dumped you.

Velvet: Then why continue to bother me? Move on already.

PJ: I just like to torment you because you know it's the truth. You're nothing without me and you always will be. I was gonna stop by and wish you luck... but let's face it, what's the point, right? You always flop when it counts the most...

PJ winked at her and promptly walked off without another glance. Velvet scowled after him until he disappeared from view. She clenched her fists before she angrily punched the vanity mirror, cracking it in several places. The cameras faded out to the sound of glass breaking and Velvet suddenly apologizing to the makeup lady.
