OOC: Here is my RP for Riley's match/rumble. Sorry for no showing with The Rock- just been a long few weeks. Ran out of steam tonight! Good luck to everyone!

The scene opened up inside the home of EBWF Intercontinental Champion- Alex Riley. Riley was sitting on a comfortable chair in his living room with his feet up on an ottoman, he had a pink lemonade in his hand- took a sip of it- and put it down on a coaster which sat on a coffee table in his entertainment room. The Intercontinental Title was seen on the couch nearest A-Ri. In the background we saw The Miz cleaning Alex's windows with Windex. Riley put his hands behind his head, seemingly in deep thought. After several beats his voice broke the silence in the room.

Alex Riley: Hey Miz- come over here for a second.

Miz put the Windex down on the table nearest the windows he was washing. He came over and sat down on the couch, nearest the chair Riley was sitting in.

Alex Riley: Sure have a seat.

Miz looked down- uncomfortable- assuming Riley had just meant that he could sit down.

Alex Riley: I'm just messin' with ya. Miz, do you know what this Sunday is?

The Miz thought for a second.

The Miz: The Pro Bowl?

Alex smirked.

Alex Riley: Convenient answer, any other year- you would have known exactly what I was referring to. Every other year, you would be spouting off about why this Sunday is the biggest event of the year. It's The Royal Rumble- Miz. I know that YOU know that. Royal Rumble- the event where THE MIZ once captured the EBWF World Championship for the first time. An event that in 2017- THE MIZ- will NOT be in- other than to be the guy who is applauding yours truly- A-Ri- as I collect yet another victory to retain MY Intercontinental Championship- and ALSO- in the same night- WIN the Royal Rumble and move on to Main Event Wrestlemania. You see Miz- I'm not content with just having that Intercontinental Championship you see sitting next to you there. I want more! This Sunday- in the Royal Rumble match- I'm going to go through 29 other guys- to become the #1 contender for the EBWF Championship. Hash tag Fact.

The Miz went to say something to A-Ri for stealing his line, but he refrained.

The Miz: Yeah just like you were gonna beat Jimmy Havoc last Monday Night.

Alex Riley smirked at Miz.

Alex Riley: Please- I could have beaten that guy if I really tried. You see Miz- sometimes matches just don't interest me.. like at all. It's like when you're talking to a chick with a husband- so what if she's hot- if there's nothing going down at the end of the conversation- why would I waste my time talking to some boring chick? That's what the match with Havoc was the other night. No incentive, nothing at stake, sorry not interesting enough for me- DON'T CARE. This Sunday though, this Sunday is a whole lot different. Royal Rumble is an event full of incentive, full of things at stake. It starts with Roman Reigns. My GOD I hate this guy. Even if my Intercontinental Championship wasn't on the line, my hatred of Roman Reigns would fuel me in this match, Miz. Roman Reigns, the biggest doofiest OAF on the face of the earth, that no matter what he does, what he says, or who he thinks he is- continues to be the lamest thing to ever grace an EBWF ring. You know me Miz, and you know that I have a lot of respect for this business. One guy that I know is great at what he does, is Paul Heyman. So Paul Heyman has taken Reigns on as a client, Heyman can make ANYONE relevant- even you, Miz. So he takes Reigns on- and guess what- STILL NOBODY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT ROMAN REIGNS. It's the same song and dance for Reigns day in and day out. Step 1) Wet your hair in the sink. Step 2) Insert lame contacts to make you look like the werewolf from Twilight. Step 3.) Talk about spearing dudes. Step 4.) Tell me to BELIEVE THAT. You get it Miz? Like how the Shield used to say BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD. His catch phrase is a spin off of what his old group used to say.. I mean is there anything lamer than that.."Believe That?" Really? REALLY?

The Miz just shook his head at the irony of Riley teasing Reigns for a spin off catchphrase.

Alex Riley: I'll tell you what I will NEVER believe Roman, and that is that YOU are capable of BEATING me for the EBWF Intercontinental Title. I will NEVER believe that YOU are capable of connecting words in the correct order to make me think that you have a brain cell in your head. I will NEVER believe that YOU are going to be anything but a roided up Samoan who I see almost in tears in the back on a weekly basis, when you are overwhelmingly struggling with your Hooked on Phonics tapes. This Sunday Roman, it's gonna be real simple, that EVEN YOU won't have to sound it out. You are going to get your ASS beat by the simply put, better man. Royal Rumble is one of the biggest events on the EBWF calendar, and if I was going to let you steal THAT spotlight from me.. well I wouldn't be ME.. and you wouldn't be you. This is the type of thing that revs me up Reigns, getting to prove once again that you are nothing but a big doofus- who people say should be something special in this business, but just ALWAYS FORGETS to be something special in this business. I spent a lot of my career getting overlooked because of douche rockets like you Roman. Guys who had "the look" guys who could bench press 400 pounds but didn't know 400 words of their first language. There's a million guys like Roman Reigns out there- but there is only ONE, Alex Riley. There's only one guy like me, I'm the type of guy that doesn't take no for an answer Roman. You tell me I'm not good enough, and I show you that I am. You tell me I'll never make it, and I'll do it anyway. Nobody thought I was ever going to be anything in this business, and I went out and found a way, and now I'm the reigning EBWF Intercontinental Champion, and that's not changing on Sunday, especially not at the overrated hands of you, Roman.

The Miz had to say something.

The Miz: Alex, this guy is huge- you should at least consider that he might just beat the living hell out of you.

Alex looked at Miz, you could see the irritation in his stare. He quickly smirked.

Alex Riley: Miz don't take your- "I'm not in the Royal Rumble" drama out on me, alright? Just because you are a once upon a time EBWF Superstar, who hasn't had a "glory day" in quite sometime, doesn't mean you need to get all pissy, and try to Roman "Reign" on my parade, alright? I'm not considering that Roman Reigns is going to beat me for the Intercontinental Championship- and the reason why I'm not considering that, is because it's not going to freaking happen. Why would anyone consider something like that, it'd be like considering the possibility of the nerdiest kid in high school hooking up with the popular chick. This isn't a romantic comedy Miz, call me the bad guy, call me the villain, I just call it being realistic. There isn't enough tats or bullet proof vests in the world to make Roman Reigns a threat to Alex Riley. I'm too god damn talented, I'm too motivated, this is a big stage, and I'm a big stage performer. I rise to the occasion, just ask your mom.

The Miz: God, you and the mom jokes- Roman may have the vocabulary of a 12 year old- but YOU actually are one.

Alex Riley: Which means your mom hooks up with 12 year olds- wow your mom is freaky!

The Miz rolled his eyes, wondering how his career had come to this.

Alex Riley: In all seriousness bro, Roman Rei... I nailed your mom.

The Miz: Alright stop! That's enough. You say you're going to beat Roman Reigns. That's great and peachy. I don't happen to agree. You don't want to give me any credit, but I'm the reason you won that Intercontinental Championship. I thought if I helped you do that, you'd realize me from this ridiculous contract, and let me compete again. The only reason you don't want me to compete, is because you know you'd NEVER get another fluke win over me again. You say you are one of a kind, well A-Ri, let me tell you something. You are a dime a freaking dozen, I'm The Miz- I'm the only superstar this company has seen that TRULY has no equal. I've sat back and listened to you, basically do an impression of me for the last 4 months, and I'm sick of it. Yeah- I'm a man of my word, and I'll come to the ring with you- but you trying to get me to go along with your ridiculous antics and claims, is just not something that's going to happen.

Alex Riley: You sound upset.

The Miz: I am upset.

Alex Riley: You sound as if.. someone.. nailed your mom.. which is appropriate.. since I did!

The Miz rolled his eyes exasperated and got up to continue washing the windows. Alex Riley laughed to himself and took another sip of his Pink Lemonade.

Alex Riley: Roman, I'll keep it as simple as a pimple with you because I know that's the only type of rhetoric you understand. This Sunday bro, you aren't winning the Intercontinental Championship. You aren't getting a chance to celebrate, you aren't gonna get a chance to do anything except watch my boot repeatably coming down on your face. I'm sure Paul will still take you to Friendly's after and you can drown your sorrows in some coloring, or trying to get through the maze they have on the kids menu.. and failing at that as well. You can get an Ice Cream for desert just make sure if you go to the bathroom you take it with you, or Heyman will eat it. Bottom line is- Royal Rumble, much like grade school, isn't going to end well for you. I'm going to brutalize you like I was the multiplication tables, and I'm going to leave you lying on the mat confused like you were watching an episode of Blue's Clues. Leading to the result that the whole EBWF Universe wants to see, and that's THE MAN AMONGST MEN- A-RI- STILL EBWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION- believe that. Ohhh my god that was so lame, even as it was leaving my lips.. I was like WOW- I'm lame. "Believe that." Stupiest thing ever. Ahh man what a tool. Hey Miz...

The Miz looked up, wondering why he was even considering answering.

The Miz: What?

Alex Riley: Who is in the rumble match? Not that it matters since I'm going to win. Obvi.

The Miz: Well I know Jericho is #1.

Alex Riley: Oh god- I'm #1, Miz. We've been through this.

The Miz: No he's #1 like the first guy in the rumble.

Alex Riley: I know, I was just trying to annoy you.

The Miz: Well it worked.

Alex Riley: Another win for me! So yes- Chris Jericho- #1 entrant in the Rumble Match. I guess they are going oldest to youngest. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS GUY IS STILL AROUND. He actually might not even be able to make it to the Rumble match, as when I started talking about Friendly's Ice Cream he probably withdrew from the match to go get some. I mean holy COW- literally holy COW- he's fat now. I'm funny.

The Miz wasn't impressed.

The Miz: Hilarious.

Alex Riley: I doubt Chris will have the stamina or the skill to go the distance in this match- I mean it's not like he's me with your mom, Miz.

The Miz: Hilarious.

Alex Riley: Chris Jericho is a 19 thousand time champion, who if you told me 19 thousand times he was fighting, I would tell you that I don't care 19 thousand times. He's a guy that should have gone away 10 years ago- but like those pesky 20 pounds he's put on over the past few years- he just won't go away. Chris I don't know if I'll see you in the rumble match itself, but if by some grace of god I do. I just want you to know that it will be an honor. It will be an honor to be the guy who gets to prevent Chris Jericho from ruining another Wrestlemania. YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH CHRIS- stay home this year- or stay in the hospital if you try to get in my way from winning this rumble match- the choice is yours. CHOOSE WISELY.

The Miz: It's not just Chris though, obviously you got guys like Sami Zayn, Edge, The Rock, Corbin, Owens, Roode, even Samoa Joe. Who could all win it.

Alex Riley: Are you kidding me bro? How many times does Sami Zayn have to get destroyed before we can all join hands across America? This guy needs to make like Michael Jackson and "just beat it" already. Bobby Roode- same thing. Not sure if I'm supposed to give two shits that he's in the EBWF- if I am- that's a problem, because I don't even give one. Neither one of those idiots are winning the rumble match. The Rock? No. not a threat to me. I mean if we were competing for a role in Fast and Furious 193 I would think he may have the upper hand, but Royal Rumble, wrestling, I'm the best, and he's a has been. Speaking of has beens.. Edge! Edge is just my favorite has been of all. I can just picture the week of the Royal Rumble every year. He gets up, BIG stretch. Pours mouthwash into a sailboat, because that's how much mouth wash would be needed for someone with a gigantic mouth like his- and decides " OK I think I'm ready for my one night of work a year." Like welcome back to the EBWF- again Edge- seriously psyched you're here. I just hope I get to be the guy to send him back to his 363 day vacation- by sending him and his huge chompers out of the rumble. Corbin and Owens- are definitely going to be too busy trying to figure out why they are so broody and mad all the time, that they aren't going to win, and Samoa Joe... well Samoa Joe.. isn't winning.. because freaking A-Ri... is NOT losing to one Samoan all night. First Reigns- then The Rock- then Samoa Joe. I'm American A-Ri.. and I approve this message.. I'm going to Wrestlemania- deal with it. Who else Miz?

The Miz: Well there's a lot of others.. but I don't even want to mention it, I don't think you're going to concede anyone being a threat to the all powerful A-Ri.

Alex Riley: Probably right, who the hell cares who's in the Rumble match. This is the only face you are going to see smiling when it's all said and done.. and what a face and smile it is. The night's going to start with me destroying Roman Reigns.. and end with me becoming the #1 contender for the EBWF Title.. leaving me just one question to ask every other guy in this company right now....

You mad bro?

Alex winked into the camera and the scene faded out.
