Is there any need for a throwaway comment like that? Mentioning two dead wrestlers, one of whom is accused of murdering his family, just to make a point that you think your opponent hasn't paid his dues, seems to show a lack of class/respect in my opinion.

I'd also like to say I think that comment is downright fucking stupid. Even from a kayfabe point, why would that be allowed?

I'm going to play devil's advocate here, I think what be was trying to say was that Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were extremely strict regarding backstage politics. Maybe the way he expressed it made it sound to aggresive?

I also think the character is breaking kayfabe during his promo.

That's my two cents anyway.
