Both are excited but for different reasons, Mark Andrews it's his first Wrestle mania. For Matt Sydal it is a chance to show what he's been working towards not only for this year but 17 years. Matt Sydal has had minor but meaningful victories, humbling losses. Used to being respected now he's not even a speck on the radar, not on the main card. Matt's goal is to make this mania match the best of the night and start off the year with a boom.

Matt and Mark trained every day, sparring with each other and pushing themselves past their limits and today was no different, even as the eve of Mania.

Matt and Mark start off by trading respective forearms, elbows, round kicks as well as arm drags, arm wringer take downs and snap mares escalating to Mandrews with a springboard stunner and standing corkscrew moonsault next backing up into the corner and boosting himself up, Matt retaliating with a forward military roll and jumping super frankensteiner but Mandrews sticks the landing only to turn around and be hit by a diving meteora but reversing it into a boston crab only for Matt to torque and apply the front guillotine submission attempt for Mandrews to reverse with a northern lights suplex but Sydal lands on his feet and attempts a backslide but they both fight it in a stale mate.

Matt rotates into the Slice attempt with the reverse DDT for the split leg drop bulldog but Mandrews reverses out shoving his mentor away.

Matt shakes hands with him into a half-hug.
