EBWF Cameras were rolling as Renee Young came upon a closed locker room door back stage. Hastily taped to the door was an RKO logo along with Randy's full name printed undeneath on a 9 x 11" piece of paper. Renee lightly knocked on the door, clearing her throat.

Renee Young: Excuse me, Randy? Are you in there? Are you available to talk?

The door slowly opened and towering over the diminutive journalist was Randy Orton, who wore a plan white t-shirt with a black RKO hoodie over it, and a pair of imogene + willie jeans. He folded his arms and leaned agaist the door frame, looking down at Renee Young.

Randy Orton: Well, look who it is. Came to see little old me.

Renee Young: Randy, thanks for taking a moment to talk with me. Tonight you face Dean Ambrose in the next round of the King of the Ring Tournament. I wanted to get your thoughts on this match.

Randy Orton: What happened, Renee? Did Jimmy Havoc not need interview time to show off his side buzz cut, or have you already listened to PJ Black blather on about how many planes he's jumped out of? It must be a slow news day if you're here to talk to me.

Renee Young: On the contrary. I consider it newsworthy when a man who could be the first ever three time King of the Ring winner gets deep into the tournament brackets.

Randy nodded, stroking his chin contemplatively. He cocked a smirk and glanced down at Renee.

Randy Orton: The sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

Renee Young: Randy, after defeating Mark Andrews in the first round of the King of the Ring, you received a bye in round 2. Does it concern you that after getting a free pass in the last couple shows, you might be a little rusty going into this match against Dean Ambrose?

Randy Orton: Didn't you ask me this question last time? I can't remember. All of your cutting edge journalism blends together from time to time. No, I'm not worried about being rusty. On my worst day, I'm better than anyone on this roster. Dean Ambrose would sacrifice his own grandmother to have my "rusty". I'm just three matches away from being a three time King of the Ring. I was the first man to do it back to back years, and then Sami Zayn decided he wanted to pretend that he was me for a little while. Now, I'm coming back to drive home the fact that everyone knows, but tries to forget. No matter how many people come to the EBWF, no matter how many guys sign on the dotted line and try to compete here, I will always be the man. So long as I keep lacing up my boots, I will be the best wrestler this planet has to offer. Besides, come on. This is Dean Ambrose we're talking about here.

Renee Young: What's that supposed to mean?

Renee almost imperceptibly narrowed her eyes at Randy. He grinned and shook his head.

Randy Orton: Never mind. Point is, I'm not worried about being rusty. I'm going to beat Dean Ambrose even if I forget where the ring is. I'm going to beat him because I HAVE to beat him. The world needs Randy Orton in the final four for the King of the Ring Tournament. They need the drama of the first 3 time winner. They need the prestige of the man with the longest World Championship reign on record. They need... this.

He gestured towards his adonis-like form, mostly obscured by his shirt and hoodie.

Randy Orton: The world does not need Dean Ambrose, believe me. We've already got one lunatic running around, wrestling in a wifebeater and jeans, and he signs my paychecks.

Randy shrugged.

Randy Orton: I'm going to win the King of the Ring tournament, because the world needs me to be in the spotlight again. It needs me to be unmistakably, unquestionably, undeniably... Randy. Orton.

Randy patted Renee on the shoulder with a wink before slinking back into his locker room and closing the door behind him with a thud. The camera zoomed in on the closed door with Randy's logo on it before going to black.
