Darkness. What else would you expect when Nikki Cross is involved? Nikki was sat on the ground, rocking back and forth. Breathing heavily. Muttering to herself. As the camera zoomed in closer, it began to pick up on what she was saying.

Nikki Cross: Another opportunity taken from me... this time by Trish Stratus. First Summer, now her. The list of people I need to seek vengeance on is growing. And at the top of the list... Natalya.

Nikki looked up into the camera, addressing Natalya directly.

Nikki Cross: I did you a favour, Natalya. I agreed to team up with you against the Mean Girls. And you disrespected me. Is it because you're afraid, Nattie? I hope so, because you should be. You see, you have something that I want. The Women's Title. I might not have won at Summerslam, but I didn’t lose either. Stupid Summer Rae was pinned, not me. Summer and I still have unfinished business to take care of, and I'd love to get my hands on Trish again... but tonight Natalya, I get my hands on you. You won't be my partner, you'll be my enemy. Just like every other women in the EBWF.

She laughed maniacally, then began punching the air.

Nikki Cross: I call these my fists of fury, Nattie. And you're going to feel the force of them tonight. I'm not just going to beat you, I'm going to hurt you. I feel angry, and you are going to be my outlet for that anger. No doubt the doctors will tell me that's not a healthy outlet, but I... don't... care. What I care about is winning. Being the champion. And even though I'm not the number one contender, taking you out is the surest way to do that. You're probably focusing on Trish, and beating her record for longest reigning champion, but you should be focused on me. Because if you lose focus... well, let's just say that will be very bad for you.

Nikki laughed again, a laughter echoing through whatever dark space she had enclosed herself in.
