“Well, well, well…the day has finally arrived; EBWF’s first pay-per-view of the year, the Royal Rumble. Tonight is the night where the entire roster claws for a championship match at WrestleMania. Everyone except me of course.”
She smirked.
MANDY ROSE
“And that’s because I already have what everyone else is vying for. I’m the reason why there has been such an uproar within the women’s division. Because unlike every other woman in EBWF, I didn’t have to prove how deserving I am by being jumbled up with everyone else.”
Mockingly, she waved off the thought.
MANDY ROSE
“So while the entire roster is reduced to a glorified version of king of the hill, I’ll be – oh, that’s right…I’ll be giving the audience what they really want to see, me; the Golden Goddess, and of course, my gold.”
Her eyes transfer to the Women’s Championship.
MANDY ROSE
“I know how you all have been dying to see me defend this title of mine, and that’s exactly what you’re going to get. Tonight, for the first time, I’m defending my Women’s Championship against…two extras. But believe me when I tell you that this will be the first of many successful defenses in my never-ending reign as the greatest, and hottest Women’s Champion in EBWF history.”
She flashed another grin.
MANDY ROSE
“And no, I’m not worried, since I know that question was floating around somewhere. But why would I be? Let me remind you that this time last month, I walked into the most dangerous structure ever built in the world of professional wrestling, and walked out with this belt around my waist, all in my first night. If anyone truly thinks I’d be concerned about losing my title to this…or this…please.”
After pulling out pictures of both Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan, Mandy couldn’t stop herself from chuckling.
MANDY ROSE
“These two have been running their mouths for weeks. They think that just because they got their lucky little wins over me. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again right now…the reality of the situation is that what has transpired over the last few weeks means absolutely nothing. Why? Because I still have this.”
She gestured toward the Women’s Championship.
MANDY ROSE
“I ended 2017 making history. These two? They were run over in the process. That is all that matters. This championship is all that matters. And tonight, when the three of us are standing together in that ring, all eyes will be on me, and me only. So when I walk out of this building ‘and still,’ Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan will realize that whatever they’ve done in the small scheme will never have any substance, and their careers have always been, and always will be based on borrowed time.”
Mandy tossed both photographs aside, shaking her head at her opponents. She held the Women’s Championship and raised it upwards, holding her head high as the scene faded.
