You Had Better Run From Me

Post by Chloe »

A monitor showed the end result of Curt Hawkins' match with Trent? and his ensuing loss. After punching a referee he was shown walking up the ramp and the camera panned backwards.

A.J Lee: Ha, ha, and HAH!

It was now revealed that A.J. was standing in her locker room, watching that scene for the umpteenth time. A.J. didn't have much remorse seeing Hawkins get the boot after he had toyed with her emotions. After finally having watched it enough times, the dark haired diva turned away and twirled in place with a wide smile on her face. With that out of the way she could focus on her upcoming Queen of the Ring match. But there was something slightly amiss. When she looked to the cell phone she had in her had there were no missed calls. Not a single one. She had called her boyfriend approximately fifteen times and he had yet to call her back. The grin on her face faded away and her expression went grim and serious.

A.J. Lee: How am I supposed to concentrate on my match when he won't pick up his phone?

One of her fingers began to aggressively twirl some of her hair. A.J. had become very weary of trusting others and completely paranoid on top of that. Her breathing began to pick up and she sat down on a couch. Soon enough she was rocking back and forth.

A.J. Lee: My mother. Made him. BROWNIES. He said. He liked them. Was he. LYING?

She snapped out of her thoughts as her phone began to chime and vibrate. A huge smile appeared on her face until she looked at the ID.

A.J. Lee: Kaitlyn.

Her head sharply twisted to the side.

A.J. Lee: GO DO BATH SALTS AND HAVE SEX WITH A TREE, KAITLYN!

She screamed at the phone before chucking it across the room. A.J. hopped to her feet and began to pace back and forth.

A.J. Lee: I can't focus on this tournament with all this betrayal.

From the corner of her eye she spotted the monitor she had been watching. It featured the QOTR brackets including a graphic of herself paired up against Taeler Hendrix. One of her eyes gave a noticeable tick.

A.J. Lee: Oh. Look at that. Someone in a happy relationship. I bet Corey Graves picks up the phone when Taeler calls.

A.J. leaned in closer to the monitor while giving it a hated filled glare.

A.J. Lee: Do you think this is funny, Taeler? Hm? Do you like seeing me suffer? You won't be smiling much longer.

She pulled herself away from the monitor and began to laugh, going through a mood swing. The tiny wrestler began to sway like a hippie on an acid trip.

A.J. Lee: I'm going to break her down into tiny, tiny parts.

A sudden knock at the door stole A.J's attention. She practically teleported over to the door and swung it open wildly.

The Coach: Uh. Hey A.J.

The interviewer was taken aback by how quickly she had responded to the knock.

The Coach: I was hoping to get a few words with you about your match with Tae--

A.J. snatched the fuzzy part off of Coach's microphone and sunk her teeth into it. She tore it to pieces and spit out the remains on his chest.

A.J. Lee: RRRRRRRR!

The door slammed in Coach's face and A.J. went back to pacing with her hands balled up into fists.

A.J. Lee: This is driving me crazy. THIS is driving me crazy. THIS IS--

Another knock came from the door and A.J.'s head practically did a 360. She took quick strides over to the door and swung it open again. This time it wasn't an interviewer. It was Trent? A.J. looked like a puppy that had just been kicked.

A.J. Lee: I...called your phone and...

Trent?: I dropped my phone in the sink.

Trent? held up his phone and revealed the glitched screen.

A.J. Lee: Oh.

A.J.'s spirits immediately picked up.

A.J. Lee: Oh! That's alright. No big deal!

Trent?: Wanna grab some lunch?

A.J. Lee: Mm hm!

A.J. clung onto Trent's? arm in a death grip that he seemed completely oblivious to. They walked off down the hallway as the scene faded.
