King of the Ring

OOC: Here's my Rp, any feedback would be great.
Having been embarrassed at Death Before Dishonor, Ted DiBiase was in a foul mood leading up to Warfare and Total Recall. The announcement of the King of the Ring had Ted training hard to make up for last year. After being eliminated in the second round last year, Ted was looking to perform much better in this year’s tournament. Backstage at the Air Canada Centre, Ted DiBiase had been involved in an altercation with the returning Daniel Bryan. After being separated and seeing Daniel go off to compete in his match Ted was fuming. He was walking down an empty section of the backstage area, where no wrestlers or crew members could bother him. Containers and ladders lay around and littered the area. Ted picked up one of the ladders and threw it in the opposite direction that he was walking in.
Ted Jr: Who the hell does he think he is? Hit me with a cheap shot. If he had have faced me like a man I would have kicked his ass.
Ted angrily muttered some more, with expletives entering his dialogue occasionally. What Ted didn't notice was Matt Striker approaching with a camera man. Matt kept his distance and told the camera man to begin recording.
Matt Striker: Good evening everyone, it's been reported that before Daniel Bryan's match he had a physical altercation with former PTG Champion, Ted DiBiase. I'm just about to try to get a word with Ted now.
Matt began to approach Ted who still had his back to the camera. Ted was still muttering and in a bad mood.
Matt Striker: Ted, I'd just like to get your thoughts on what happened earlier between you and Daniel Bryan backstage.
Ted slowly turned to face Matt, the scowl on his face showed his mood perfectly.
Ted Jr: Daniel Bryan wants to go around and cheap shot people and then call himself the best wrestler on the roster? It's not happening while I'm here. At Death Before Dishonor, I issued an open challenge. If Daniel Bryan was a man he would have accepted my challenge like a man, but instead he entered while my back was turned and attacked me like a thug. He better pray to God that he doesn't meet me in this tournament.
Matt Striker: The only way the two of you can meet is if you both make it to the final. How does it feel reading reports that with the return of Daniel Bryan, it may jeopardise your standing in EBWF?
Ted Jr: Now you listen here, I'M the longest reigning champion in EBWF history! I'm the greatest Path to Glory Champion in history! I'm a former World Champion and Tag Team Champion! I am NOT beneath Daniel Bryan. I have defeated the best that EBWF has to offer, what has he done in his career? Sure he has been known as King of the Indies but that doesn't mean anything here. In EBWF he is a NOTHING! He won the King of the Ring but did he ever win the big one? I won the World Championship in less than 4 months after I debuted in EBWF. I am the most underrated superstar in EBWF now. You look at Miz or Styles or Cena and they'll say "Ted Senior this and Ted Senior that". I've achieved more than my father ever did. When I came here I didn't rest on my father's laurels. I forged my own path and became the best. But even after holding the Path to Glory Championship, even after defeating World Champion after World Champion after World Champion, I'm still seen as weak. Daniel Bryan can have his King of the Indies title, I'm going to be the King of the Ring.
Ted stormed off out of the arena as Matt was left standing with the camera man. Ted was ready to win the King of the Ring tournament. But with everything, he had to take it one step at a time.

Tonight was a special Total Recall featuring the rest of the first round matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. On Warfare there had been some upsets, with AJ Styles being knocked out and Ricardo Rodriguez had managed to defeat former World Champion Christian. Total Recall was bring hosted in the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Ted DiBiase hadn't really paid any attention to who he would be facing, in his mind it didn't matter. According to Ted it didn't concern him who it was because in the end he was going to get the victory. As usual, Ted had a pre-match interview scheduled with the informative Matt Striker. Ted had his ring gear on, with a black EBWF hoodie covering his torso. Matt Striker was dressed smart as usual, wearing a suit and pale blue coloured tie. With everybody ready, the interview began.
Matt Striker: Welcome everyone to a special edition of Total Recall where we finish off the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. At the beginning of the week there were 30 wrestlers, by the end of tonight there will only be 16 remaining. But that's not all, we also have the Queen of the Ring tournament with 16 competitors being narrowed down to only 8. With me at this time is Ted DiBiase who we will see compete tonight to get a spot in the second round of the tournament. So Ted, what is it like facing an icon in this business, a man who is a legend and a hall of famer?
Ted Jr: I'll be honest Matt, I don't even have the slightest clue who I'm facing tonight because it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it’s John Cena, Randy Orton or even you. I'm going to be the one that gets his hand raised at the end of the match.
Matt Striker: Do you want to know who you'll be facing tonight?
Ted looked at Striker with a look saying "Sure, why not?”
Matt Striker: You'll be going up against Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
Ted looked at Striker seriously for a second before he began to laugh like he had been told the funniest joke in existence.
Ted Jr: Great joke Matt, but seriously who is it? Miz, Syxx, Justin Roberts?
Matt Striker: It's really Bret Hart.
Ted Jr: You're telling me that they've got nobody in EBWF that'll face me so they got Bret Hart? The guy is twice my age and hasn't been seen for a couple of years.
Matt Striker: Regardless, he's still a great wrestler and one of the greatest of all time.
Ted Jr: But when is enough really enough? He's accomplished so much in EBWF, he's a 4 time World Champion, 5 time Tag Team Champion and 2 time IC Champion. But the thing is, he hasn't won a title in 9 years. Now I respect what Bret has done for this business, but this return is simply being selfish. I don't know if he's poor and needs another pay check or if he is just bored and thought, "Hey, I might just come back to EBWF." I'm sorry but I'm the one that'll be spoiling the return party. I know when I walk out there, those people will boo, and they will heckle. I'm scum in their eyes. When you walk out there Bret, you'll be treated like a god. I know you're a smart guy and you love this business, so it astounds me that you've returned simply to stop the young talent from reaching their potential. This is why I hate all these old talents returning. The nostalgia trip may be great for the fans, but what about the guys in the back that have worked their asses off for the last 4 years here? What about the guys that have work nonstop because it’s the only thing they have left? What about the guys who work 300+ days a year and have had their marriages ruined because of their commitment to this business? I've put my body on the line for this company since 2009, I've gone through a lot and I will NOT have some old timer trying to relive his youth at my expense. Who will be next? Hulk Hogan? My father? You were great back in your prime but now your return is nothing more than an ego boost for yourself and a slap in the face to all of the hardworking young guys in here.
Ted was fired up and speaking passionately from the heart.
Matt Striker: How does it feel going up against Bret Hart, who is a legend?
Ted Jr: For some it might be awe inspiring and a great honor to face a legend, but I don't think that way. All Bret Hart is doing is standing in my way to becoming the King of the Ring, now I don't care that he is a legend, I don't care that he is twice my age. I'll still put him down for a 3 count and win the match. If I have to hurt him, I'll do it. Nobody is going to stand between me and that guaranteed World Championship match.
Matt Striker: Now the winner of the match will go up against Ricardo Rodriguez in the second round, who may be considered an underdog but he did manage to defeat former World Champion Christian.
Ted Jr: Congratulations, he managed to beat Christian. Who hasn't in EBWF? I beat him twice when he wanted to challenge for my Path to Glory Championship. Ricardo Rodriguez is not a threat. Once I defeat Bret Hart, I can take a nice relaxing break and then beat Ricardo. Can he win the King of the Ring? No way in hell. Can he defeat Ted DiBiase? Again, no way in hell.
Matt Striker: Any final words for the other competitors in the King of the Ring tournament?
Ted Jr: Stay the hell out of my way and hope that you're not facing me. I'm going to become the next King of the Ring, I'm going to walk out of Summerslam as the World Champion. Do I care if it'll be Dean Ambrose as Champion or someone else? No. I'll go through anything in my way to become a champion.
