I Am Not Who I Am

-- Scene II - You're Not What You Are --

The scene opened in a forest scenery, during the night. Owls can be heard, as well some wolves' howling in the distance. The camera roams around the woods, as several other woodland animals can be heard. All kinds of shapes become into mere shadows upon slightly less darkened shadows, until a sudden thud is heard as the camera drops to the floor and the scenery becomes a grizzled-out gray image of static interference, until it's picked back up, and seems to be carried away as two similar voices appear to be in conversation, one clearly belonging to Conor O'Brian, and the other is similar but seems more deep and less growly. The two entities carry on their conversation oblivious to the camera picking up on it.

Conor:
... I warned them not to approach it... They wouldn't listen, it's dangerous, it's overtaken me, and it'll overtake them as well. It's not pleased with them and their behaviour, it's not content with my performance. It must be pleased, it can't be stopped, I know it can't... I apologize, Master Ascension for their insubordination.

Ascension:
It's better to be safe than sorry. I was safe and eliminated the trespasser, therefore there's no need to be sorry. Why did you bring the idiot's camera?

Conor:
They want me to do a segment where I explain myself and my goals and why I am what I am.

Ascension:
So they don't know yet that you're not what you are

The camera returns from static as it is set down and shows that Conor O'Brian, who wore his sleeveless long-coat, stood in the wilderness speaking to himself, shifiting his eye direction as he shifted personas.

Ascension:
You're what I am.

Conor:
If they knew, your plan wouldn't come to fruition, master. They would call me insane, and send me away.

Ascension:
I see some of me has been transferring to you all along. My choosing of your mind wasn't too ridiculous, after all. Considering the spotlight that you're putting on our cause and our plan, I'd say your performance is somewhat satisfactory, now go, our plans for EBWF have only just begun.

The scene fades to black with Conor O'Brian still alone, after this one-sided conversation, laughing manically.

-- Scene II - Who's In Control --

The scene opens with Conor O'Brian atop the titantron at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois, as the arena is still finishing some details in the construction. He's crouching near the edge, but after looking around for a bit, he stands up, and walks down a flight of stairs, he walks through the backstage halls, as stage-hands and staffers avoid walking near him, and look everywhere but towards him, after descending through a few steps, he arrives where he wants to be, the boiler room. He paces the floor of the boiler room, talking to himself.

Conor:
Tonight I fight, not just Reigns, but the Shield in their entirety... But am I just fighting him, or am I fighting myself...? It isn't my own fight that I need to worry about now. It's Reigns. He's a thorn on EBWF's side, much like Ambrose and Rollins. Maybe I should reach out to him. Master Ascension, show me, what should I do, speak to me.

Conor closes his eyes and his entire stance and persona seems to change as he has shifted from his confused and somewhat crazed traits to a more cold, and calculating persona such as the one he calls "The Ascension", despite the change, Conor still appears a little delusional as he talks to himself.

The Ascension:
Now that you're safely tucked away in a dark spider web filled corner of your own mind, listen to me. You're virtually fighting one and only one battle and that battle is the final battle in our plan. Make no mistake about the following, you and I are not in battle. You and I are... Allies for a common ultimate goal. We both want the same.

Conor:
But what about Reigns, how do we deal with him?

The Ascension:
Roman Reigns is nothing but an ignorant gorilla used by The Shield to enforce their views on others. He is easy to take care of just by using brain power rather than brawn power. Although, he could be useful to our cause, do you think he could be enlisted to aid us?

Conor:
Impossible. I'm the only one who can hear you, hence why people might call me crazy.

The Acension:
Good point. Just remember this, if we play our cards right, some might see you as a visionary. If we make one single faux pas, then all of the plan is as good as dead, and neither of us wants that, right?

Conor:
Right.

The Ascension:
So here's what you should do. Reigns appears to be nothing more than a puppet for Ambrose. But Ambrose isn't in the match. This means he's bendable. I'm not saying we should avoid fighting, but we should definitely combine our fighting with some persuasion. It's time we round up the cattle, Conor. I see the empty glare in his eyes, no shine and no sparkle. Last week, The Rock was the first victim of our unrelenting power, and EBWF was witness to the destruction of one of the longest-running jokes in history. Reigns will know what his family member went through, and EBWF will either witness a second destruction or the formation of what is to be the most dominating alliance in the history of mankind.

Conor:
What about Shield interference?

The Ascension:
The Shield are now in a state of every man for himself. Ambrose is busy playing with Syxx and looking over his shoulder, concerned with Orton. Rollins is the only one who might try to interfere, but with them being just two, no cards will be stacked up against us. But even if they were stacking cards against us, we'd just blow away the foundation, and the rest would colapse upon itself.

Conor:
This match is ours to be won.

The Ascension:
Not just this match, but every single individual sent our way will be sent home packing, for no one can stop the plan in motion. Remember, Conor, We are the Ascension...

Conor:
And We... Will... RISE!

Conor's traditional ending growl leads into a manic laugh suddenly cut off, when he turns around and leaves the boiler room, walking menacingly, which causes the staff members to get out of the way and avoid eye contact with this angry man on a mission.
