The Declaration of Domination
EBWF House Show
July 19, 2013
Wrestler: Last week Mike and I were in this ring for our EBWF tryout match. I thought we were putting on quite the good show...
.:: The crowd booed loudly as they could not imagine this nobody wrestler putting on a good show. They also were upset that they had to listen to this menial man instead of seeing some great EBWF entertainment. The wrestler in the ring was shirtless and wearing solid yellow tight wrestling pants. By the looks of him he was the blandest wrestling prospect in not only EBWF, but the World. ::.
Wrestler: Boo all you want! I have been wrestling from gym to gym for 4 years now trying to get a tryout somewhere. I expect when I receive that opportunity you greet me with the respect I deserve! .:: Crowd booed. ::. Speaking of disrespectful, Damien Sandow...
.:: The crowd cheered at the mention of the newly crowned, two time, Path to Glory champion. The wrestler in the ring was going to say more but he got cut off by...
(Damien Sandow entrance theme and video)
… The crowd cheered as Sandow's entrance music and video started to play on the speakers and tron. The crowd popped when Sandow assuredly walked out on the top of the entrance ramp. Sandow was wearing his usual blue EBWF t-shirt along with a pair of blue jeans. He was wearing the lucky rabbit's foot around his neck still and once again had HIS Path to Glory Championship draped over his right shoulder. He stood at the top of the ramp for a moment and then started to walk towards the ring. As he approached the ring he walked to the right and walked over to an employee sitting in a chair holding a microphone. The employee handed him the microphone and Sandow grabbed it with his right hand. He then turned and looked into the ring and saw the wrestler standing their looking at him with an angry look on his face. Sandow smiled and handed the microphone back to the employee in the chair. He turned and walked up the metal aluminum steps on the back side of the ring. Sandow entered the ring and walked up to the wrestler. After a couple of moments of looking at each other and the crowd cheering Sandow quickly swiped the microphone from the other wrestler’s hand. The crowd cheered louder as the wrestler in anger got back in Sandow's face. ::.
Damien Sandow: If you know what is good for you, you would take a couple of steps back you halfwit! .:: The wrestler took a couple of steps back seeing how serious Sandow was. ::. Who are you to come out there and talk about being disrespectful? From what I just heard you disrespected all of my masses out in the EBWF World! So just like I suggested you get out of my face, I now suggest you get out of my ring! .:: The wrestler didn't move. ::. Do you know who I am? I am the EBWF Path to Glory champion! And more importantly I am the guy that nailed you with Hard Luck last week. So if you want a replay of last week, right now, then keep standing there. .:: The wrestler stood in the same spot for a couple of moments before slowly backing up and exiting the ring. As he left the ring the crowd cheered and started a “Loser! Loser! Loser!” chant. Sandow watched the whole time as the wrestler walked up the ramp and walked backstage out of the view of everyone in the arena. ::. That's two weeks in a row I have come out here and saved you all from that ignoramus! At least last week you got to see him attempt to wrestle. Tonight he was just being ridiculous! Demanding respect from my cleansed masses? What in the World was he thinking?!
.:: The crowd, along with Sandow, chuckled a little bit remembering how when he first joined the EBWF he had done the exact same thing. Demanding respect from people was not the way to go about it. Sandow had learned this the hard way, but he was in a better place now. If anything could sum that up it would be the past couple of weeks. In the past if Sandow had lost a big match he would blame other people or say the person that beat him got lucky and didn't deserve it. He would take weeks off without training to better himself because he would let every loss get in to his head. This Damien Sandow lost a big match two weeks ago, while losing a championship belt in the process. He didn't hide or blame others. He used it to dedicate himself the following week knowing he was going to get a chance to regain the belt. And he entered the ring on Monday Warfare looking like a motivated and desperate superstar. The masses had recognized the difference in Sandow also. Instead of demanding their respect the new Damien Sandow had earned their respect. Not by talking and degrading anyone, but by showing his skills off in the ring and being a champion. ::.
Damien Sandow: Now, unlike last week, I was not supposed to be here at all tonight. I just couldn't let a loser stand out here and insult you all. I surely couldn't sit back there and let a nobody call me, a champion, out! So before he called me out I thought I would come down here and shut him up! .:: Crowd cheered. ::. And now that I am out here talking to you, I have to take this time to get something off of my chest. Bear with me here. .:: Sandow pulled out a piece of rolled up paper. ::. This past Monday WE entered this ring and did exactly what I told you we were capable of doing! With you all backing me up I stepped in to this ring and with the luck of the masses defeated Chris Sabin to regain the Path to Glory Championship. I know by winning this championship and keeping my word I have gained the respect of all of you. Unfortunately, doing those same things does not gain the respect of EBWF management. What am I talking about? Well before my match, Chris Jericho came out and announced that there would be a Money in the Bank ladder match at Sacrifice. Before I was even given the chance to come out and prove that I am one of the newest and most talented superstars in this business Jericho came out and announced the participants in the match. One of those participants being Chris Sabin. The man I beat just after Jericho's announcement. .:: Sandow paused for a moment as the crowd was quiet. ::. I am not out here to demand a spot in that match. I have learned my lesson on demanding things instead of earning them. But I am out here to let everyone in the back know that I am going to earn management's respect! They may not add me in THIS Money in the Bank match, but they will have no choice but to put me in future ones.
.:: Sandow unrolled the paper he had been holding in his hand. ::.
Damien Sandow: On July 4, 1776 there was a pretty famous declaration made. The Declaration Of Independence. Well on July 19, 2013 there will be another declaration made, by me! The Declaration Of Domination! .:: Sandow looked at the paper and read. ::. I hold these truths to be self-evident, that I, Damien Sandow, was not created equal (But better), that I am endowed by the Cleansed Masses with certain undeniable Skills, that among these are Physical Ability, Charisma and the pursuit of Greatness! .:: Sandow paused after reading his declaration and looked into the camera. ::. Everyone in the locker room better listen up. No matter who you are, if you can hear me, your luck has run out!
.:: Sandow laid the microphone on the mat and exited the ring to the crowd cheering their new PTG champion. As he got to the top of the ramp he turned around and posed with the belt as the crowd again cheered. Sandow had a scowl on his face the whole time he was leaving the ring, a sign that he was serious about what he had said. He turned around and left the view of the audience as another match was about to begin. ::.
.:: End ::.
