The scene opens with Dolph Ziggler backstage at an EBWF house show, sitting on a steel folding chair in the locker room watching a monitor. He is wearing pink trunks and white boots, with a towel over his shoulder and is dripping with sweat having just finished a match.
Dolph sits with his head tilted as he chews gum with an unimpressed look on his face, the commentary from the tape he is watching can be heard.
Jim Ross Commentary: ''Culture Shock DDT King! 1..2..3!''
Jerry Lawler Commentary: ''And Woods continues to impress here in EBWF JR!''
Jim Ross Commentary: ''Yes he does King, and a nice win for a nice young EBWF superstar!''
Dolph's face suddenly changes to a look of anger and frustration, he stands up and boots the monitor from the table in front of him and it hits the ground smashing to pieces.
Dolph Ziggler: What a joke .... these chumps aren't on my level! Woods had that ref in his damn back pocket!
Ziggler paces back and forth as he grabs his hair, seemingly growing more frustrated, before charging towards the door and heading down a corridor, passing members of the backstage crew on his way. He is mumbling to himself while he storms down the hallway ....
Dolph Ziggler: I'll show him, nobody steals a victory from me, I'm the one who steals the show around here .....
As he nears the end of the corridor he sharply stops at a door, revealing it to be the referee's locker room. Ziggler opens the door and enters the room, where a number of referees stop conversating and mumbled noise turns to complete silence.
Dolph Ziggler: Where's Charles Robinson?!
The referees in the room scatter in different directions leaving referee Charles Robinson the only person in Ziggler's sight, he sits in the corner of the room wearing his referee gear with a timid look on his face and Dolph walks over to him.
Dolph Ziggler: Charles Robinson, just the man I'm looking for.
Charles Robinson: What ... what can I do for you Sir?
Dolph Ziggler: What can you do for me? How about what have you done for me?
Charles Robinson: I don't know what you mean ...
Dolph Ziggler: You know exactly what I mean, I've just got done watching the tape of my match from Sacrifice. Do you know who was officiating that night, Charlie boy?
Charles Robinson: Um, yeah, that was me, Sir ...
Dolph Ziggler: Oh that's right, it WAS you, so I'm sure you'll recall just how the match went then. Stand up and look me in the eye because I'm gonna ask you a question and if you feed me a load of BS bad things are gonna happen ...
Charles Robinson slowly stands up, a look of fear is painted across his face and Dolph Ziggler closes in on him trapping him in the corner of the room.
Dolph Ziggler: Now, I've just watched the match back over, and I noticed something a little strange. Count to three for me Charlie boy.
Charles Robinson's head drops as he trembles with intimidation.
Charles Robinson: ...1...2...3
Dolph Ziggler: That sounded a little slower than I was expecting, do you keep your fast counts especially for my matches?
Charles Robinson: I don't understand.
Dolph Ziggler: Cut the crap, you and I both know that you fast counted in my match at Sacrifice, and I want an explanation.
Charles Robinson: I didn't count fast, Dolph. I call every match down the middle.
Dolph turns his head away from Charles Robinson as if he's going to walk away then suddenly attacks the confused referee, slumping him into the corner with relentless punches before stomping on him a few times.
Dolph Ziggler: Let this be a lesson, next time you call one of my matches you call it down the middle, and that goes for all of you!
Ziggler smirks arrogantly then strokes his hair back and throws his arms forward in his usual pose.
Dolph Ziggler: ... I think you got the message.
He turns and leaves the room while the other referees tend to Charles Robinson as the scene fades.
Far from his usually calm ''Show Off'' demeanor, Ziggler was out to make a statement that he's better than he had been lately, and Monday was his chance to get back on track with a fresh start.
