Conor stood defeated once more as Seth Rollins got the better of him in a good competitive bout. It seemed “The Ascension” was stalled, and O’Brian would have none of that, he was of the opinion that these losses were not disappointments but lessons. He sat in what is recognized as the EBWF DVD Interview set wearing an all black suit with a black overcoat on it. In front of him, Jim Ross, a legendary announcer and interviewer sat in his own couch wearing a beige suit with the traditional black hat, the cameras began rolling as Ross began his interview of this deranged wrestler.

Jim Ross:
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Jim Ross, and I'm here for an EBWF.net exclusive with the man who has recently taken a violent dislike to the fans' idol, John Cena. Welcome Conor...

Conor (Interupting):
No, no... Welcome to you, Jim Ross. Welcome to the first non-violent free passage to the mind and thoughts of The Ascension. Or at least non-violent for now...

J.R. Seemed more than uncomfortable with these threatening words, immediatley looking around as if he was searching for an exit, but being professional, Ross continued.

Jim Ross:
Uhm... Thank you, Conor. Now, the first question I have to ask is who IS The Ascension?

Conor smiled at the question and tilted his head sideways as if trying to comprehend the meaning of what JR just asked him.

Conor:
Well, Jim Ross, while I could answer that question with a very long run-down and explanation of what The Ascension is all about, there's a much simpler question... “Who ISN'T The Ascension?” And I'm going to explain it as simple as I possibly can. Ever since birth, babies are conditioned to manipulate their mothers into getting what they want. If they want milk, a diaper change or if they think it's time to play, they let out a sound, or “cry”, if you will, that will trigger the parent's primal instincts to protect their cub. In turn, the parent pampers and spoils the baby, rewarding it for being a puppet master to his parent. When the child grows it either loses or develops his puppet master ability until his death as an ancient person. If the ability is lost, then the baby grows up to become yet another society-made drone like Damien Sandow, or John Cena; But if it develops, then it grows up to become the puppet master, making the machines move for his own selfish purpose.

Jim Ross: Where does that leave you?

This question interupted O'Brian's train of thought and caused him to lose his logical argumentation.

Conor:
Ah, but you see, there is one third option. The baby can be an enlightened one, and grow up in the ways of The Ascension, seeing the world as it truly is, a bottomless pit of social and financial cannibalism where each puppet chips the next just to increase its own value. But they all fail to realize that their value isn't a way to free them from their miserable prison, no... The only rescue possible is teaching them the way of The Ascension.

After an awkward silence, where JR clearly lost himself listening to the mad man's ramble, the interviewer continued his job.

Jim Ross: People have remarked that you, yourself, Conor, are a fraud piggy-backing off of The Shield's comments, do you have a reply?

Conor:
I'm a fraud? People say that I am the fraud?! People don't know what frauds are, and the fact that they would even consider me as a fraud just goes to show that I speak truth. You see, society, they see me getting close to unearthing the deep underground truth, and are willing to stop me at any costs, even going as far as using my own words against me, but the Rise is on the move, and just like John Cena felt my wrath upon him, so will Society, when it crumbles at my feet and I tear apart all that this world considers morally correct.

Jim Ross:
Not a whole lot of time, left. Conor, your upcoming opponent is not new to you at all. He's the man who almost lost his title to you at Sacrifice, until he got a surprise win with the “Illumination” move. What are your thoughts going into this match?

Conor:
I believe Sandow is one of the biggest hypocritical frauds of them all. He labels himself as enlightened and cleansed his masses in a move to increase his popularity, and I see right through it, but there's a way out, Sandow. You know it's a smart move. Join me. Join me, and turn your back on the drones society has created. Don't allow yourself to be one of them. Join me, or face the fall and feel the full-fledged wrath of The Ascension. Should you choose not to align with me, then you will serve as an example for John Cena, I will beat you and bludgeon you, and you will crawl and beg for mercy and I will look down at you just like I looked down at John last week and laugh as I continue my punishment.

Jim Ross:
Harsh words coming from a man who is out to make an impact. Any final words before our time is up?

Conor:
Yes. To John Cena. I see you. I see what you were. And shows me what you are and what you will always be, a villain, mask it and hide it and deny it all you want, but you're just like me, and it's time for your darkness to reveal itself. It's time for your Ascension, John Cena. And with me showing you the way, WE... WILL... RISE!

The signature ending growl lead into a manic laugh as the interview faded to black. O'Brian had very few but harsh words directed towards Sandow, it's visible he's staying focused on his match, but not forgetting about John Cena, while attempting to rally people for his cause, but who will actually join The Ascension?
