You Are Alone

Post by David »

The scene began showing clips of decayed ancient buildings from the classic greek and roman civilizations, then it began moving on as the classic builds all had the decaying factor in common. It showed various Greek Temples at first, but then focusing on the well-known Parthenon, in Athens, Greece. Not long after, the ominous growling voice of O'Brian was heard through the speakers.

Conor O'Brian:
They called her Athena, the goddess of wisdom, strategy, arts, courage, inspiration, civilization, the goddess of heroic endeavour. Reveared by the citizens of athens, this deity is known to this day, and to some extent, it is still put in some form of pedestal. The greeks had an empire at their disposal, they were a force to be reckoned with. Until the expansion of the Roman Empire, who in an alliance to conquer the world, also controlled the Egyptian Empire. However, as history has observed, the Roman empire fell, along with all its monopolized market, because it failed to see the truth. And the truth is, only one empire outlasts time, and that's the Empire of The Ascension.

The view shifted to a dark tall building's rooftop, during the night. A darkened silver throne was placed in the center of the rooftop, and on it, a man in a full black suit sat. The recognizable shining blue eyes of Conor O'Brian were the only hint of light on top of the building. He looked angry, but occasionally his mouth twitched into some sort of sadistic smile.

Conor O'Brian:
Such is the fate of the Cenation, unless their leader sees the truth, not just in the world, but in himself as well. For years on end, everyone has heard John Cena talk about how his mantra is “Never Give Up”, but after all this time, we all still know that he means nothing of what he says. John Cena enjoys rusing all of you, while he knows deep down within the cockles of his soul that all he's saying is a way of maintaining his good appearance. They say ignorance is bliss, but let me explain to you that while that may be true, the true joy is actually being able to see the world for what it really is.

O'Brian got up from the throne and walked towards the edge of the building, laughing and stretching his arms out. As his laugh died down, he lowered his arms, and the camera spun around to reveal that the rest of the buildings were also plunged into darkness.

Conor O'Brian:
The world is nothingness, that burns a hole inside the beholder's body, until it consumes his soul to an extent where it completely ceases to exist, and the beholder itself plunges into a state of... clarity. The beholder sees the truth, and becomes enlightened. Yet, he is called insane by society. Labeled psychotic by the puppets society designed to make rulings of the so called mental stability of others. But you see, they have no idea that I am the one making rulings here. I call the shots, and I CONTROL everything. Just like I controlled Brooke and John Cena.

O'Brian chuckled remembering what went down after Warfare, as he turned to face the camera, almost as if he was staring into John Cena.

Conor O'Brian:
That was... fun. Wasn't it, John? I really fooled you for a second there. And you almost had me too. The Lyrical Lunatic? There's nothing Lyrical about your true nature, John. I know it, you know it, Brooke knows it... And... Daniel, your brother, he knows that you and me are playing with fire here.Do you think he'll come to your aid on his white high horse, once you've crossed the line and have become an enlightened being like myself? No. He won't care. Brooke won't care. Torrie won't care. Nicole and Randy won't care. You're disposable, and you know it. Deep down you're sick of those idiotic fans who boo you, despite you claiming to love them. ALL CRAP! You heard Brooke in the parking lot, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, everyone else has seen the truth, but you keep wearing those patches that cut your peripheral vision. How's Brooke, by the way? Oh, that's right, you wouldn't know. You FAILED to protect her, why? Because deep down we both know you didn't even want her protected, the monster in you is starting to show, she won't be with you at Summerslam. Like I said, you're going into Summerslam ALONE! Just you, and your belt facing an entire cause in motion. And you WILL be leaving Summerslam ALONE, with no championship. For I AM... The Ascension... and I... WILL... RISE!

Conor's trademark growl ended the segment with a powerful message to John Cena.
