The Big Bad Man

Post by Will »

500 episodes seemed so special to everyone. AJ Styles however didn't give a damn. It was just another Monday night to him and it sure as hell wasn't special. The golden tented tan skin of the former World Champion shined from the bright light above him as he sat in his locker room getting prepared for competition. His piercing eyes were burning a hole through the newest EBWF Broadcast college, Renee Young who appeared uncomfortable standing there waiting. Brushing the thick bushy hair from the front of his unshaven face AJ Styles gestured towards the blonde beauty to approach him. His expression cooled ten degrees as a smile crept onto his face.

AJ Styles: How may I help you?

She was timid, but managed to get her words out.

Renee Young: I'm here to interview you for your upcoming match.

AJ Styles: No.

The sudden change in his demeanor scared her a bit. The smile was no longer there and the intimidating man that AJ Styles had recently become was now looming over her, breathing heavily down her neck.

AJ Styles: Did you see what I did to Scott Hall last week? I tied him up and had my way with him. If you know what's best for you, you would leave before I do the same to you.

The threat of bondage was enough for her to make a beeline exit from the locker room. A camera man was still recording all this and it was possibly airing live. Styles turned his attention towards it and his face turned vague, emotionless.

AJ Styles: Kevin Nash, last week you challenged me to a fight. Not a wrestling match. Everybody knows that you couldn't "wrestle" to save your fucking life. Luckily for you, the state didn't medically clear you for competition. Luckily because tonight would've been the night I crippled your sorry ass.

Sinister thoughts passed behind his eyes like a shadow.

AJ Styles: Earlier tonight you went out to that ring and had a great time. You had a few laughs. Made a cheap plug for a crappy new shirt. Then went on to say some very spiteful things toward me. Now a year ago you challenged me to step it up while you were away, sleeping under a rock, you must've missed a few things. I currently own victories over the World Champion Randy Orton who I pinned at Wrestlemania and the number one contender Dean Ambrose who I pinned to win the Tag Team Championships in an Elimination Chamber. Miz carried me? Hardly. He was the one pinned to lose those tag titles. Then went around preaching to the sky as if he was better than me and you see what happened? I put his ass out of action yet again. Then I decommissioned the eight time World Champion Christian when I pulverized him with a steel chair.

He cocked his head slightly to the side.

AJ Styles: "Ok, but really give us something."

He mocked Kevin Nash playfully.

AJ Styles: It damn sure wasn't a 450 splash. Nope. These days I've been tapping people out. Making the scream and submit. It's so much more fun than doing flips. Ask Bret Hart how I destroyed him inside a steel cage or ask Chris Jericho about the beating he took at Summerslam. Two men that are in the main event tonight. Two losers that I have run over in my path of destruction. Better yet my path to glory. See, I might be facing some guy I've never heard of before for a championship that I made relevant upon its introduction. A championship that CM Punk and I waged war over a few years back. I have no problem beating the shit out of Damien Sandow and prying the title away from his cold corpse. If you all thought the beating he received at the hands of the Shield was something, then just wait. Wait until I step into that ring with him tonight and show you all just why they call me THE MAN. THE BIG BAD MAN. No shirts needed. Damien Sandow, I know nothing about you and quiet frankly I don't give a damn about you, so tonight you are stepping in on the beating that was meant for Kevin Nash. This is a prime example of the wrong place and the wrong time.

He gritted his teeth before letting out a long breath.

AJ Styles: Kevin Nash was right about one thing, I'm throwing one big ass pissy fit. I'm more vicious than I've ever been, with the intent on hurting anyone and everyone in my way. Paul might not be here with me now but that doesn't change a thing. This isn't about getting over with the audience anymore. This is survival of the fittest in the EBWF. The weak die out and the strong survive to go on and live forever. Kevin Nash, Syxx, you both seen what happened to your friend Scott Hall last Monday. I hope you both pay attention to the show tonight because after I kill off another weak link in the food chain, Damien Sandow. I'm coming for the both of you. The Kliq still knows how to hurt people huh? AJ Styles does hurt people. Whatever you do... Watch. Your. Back.

His words were cold and sinister as the evil look in his eyes told a story. Tonight was a celebration for some, but for AJ Styles tonight was simply about survival.
