When people wore suits in the world of wrestling it typically meant that they were serious business. This was no exception for Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews of The Canadian Ninja's. They were standing in a busy neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia and, as pointed out, were wearing black suits. Portia was sporting a JVD tie, that's Jean Claude-Van Damme, and still had her hair in a ridiculous top-knot with Nicole went for a far more subtle plain black tie. Children's, parents and passerby's went through their normal days but were confused by the sight of camera's filming the sharply dressed female wrasslers.
Portia Perez: This. Is. An. OUTRAGE. Do you know how long it's been since we've been on television? DO you?!
Nicole Matthews: The time that has passed since we have been last featured on Warfare or a pay per view has been insurmountable. Countless days, weeks and months have gone by.
Portia Perez: Did you hear that?! INSURMOUNTABLE.
Portia paced back and forth while making sort of cartoonish motions with her hands while Nicole remained stoic with her arms behind her back.
Portia Perez: It has come to our attention that their is some kind of Diva's Turmoil match that features, like, EVERY WRESTLER EVER, except for us! DISCRIMINATION! It's 2013 and it's still going on in the work place!
The smaller and obviously way more feisty member of the team walked over to a white picket fence where a very, very old woman was tending to her garden.
Portia Perez: Mam! MAM! Excuse me! I have something for you to sign!
Portia shoved a petition into the old woman's hands and she nearly toppled over.
Portia Perez: This is a petition to reinstate the Canadian Ninja's into the EBWF! It's SO IMPORTANT that you sign this right this second and also inform all of your family and friends! Begin a grass root marketing campaign! Stage rallies! Begin marching! Start a website, a kickstarter, an indiegogo! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Old Woman: I'm sorry..what did you say, dear? My hearing isn't very good. Oh, I love that tie you have on.
Portia snatched the old woman by the wrist, forced her to scribble a signature and shoved her into a patch of bushes. She raised the petition in triumph.
Portia Perez: Signed, sealed, delivered! The first signature is here! MILLIONS are flooding in as we speak! Phones are going to start ringing off the hook at the EBWF offices once this campaign catches fire!
A child on a tricycle went peddling by and Portia dove in front of him to block his path while Nicole loomed over him.
Nicole Matthews: Do you comprehend the definition of discrimination? Do you know how damaging it can be? We are victims of discrimination. It is defined as the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. This can also be described as parochialism. A limited or narrow outlook, especially focused on a local area; narrow-mindedness. Narrow-mindedness is defined as an inclination to criticize opposing opinions or shocking behavior.
As Nicole droned on and on the child looked increasingly confused and scared since this was all coming without any sort of context for him.
Child: I..I just want to watch Doc McStuffins.
Portia Perez: Forget that! Take this pen with your grubby like fingers and sign this petition! This effects ALL OF US!
The kid scribbled down whatever he could and peddled off quickly.
Portia Perez: We will not REST until everyone is aware of our cause! Which is why we have even hired a lawyer! This is Mr. David Otunga!
David Otunga appeared as if from solid air. He was wearing a sweater vest, slacks, and he was carrying a bejeweled coffee thermal. He nodded to the camera.
Portia Perez: We've brought in the big guns! We're taking this fight RIGHT TO THE FRONT DOOR! Our efforts will be tireless, never ending and filled with..
Renee Young: Excuse me..
Renee Young also materialized into the scene. She may very been summoned in the same way Otuna was by unknown means.
Renee Young: I don't mean to interrupt but..you two ARE in the Diva's Turmoil match. You also are still under contract so you don't need to be reinstated.
Portia and Nicole completely froze for what seemed like an eternity.
Portia & Nicole: Oh.
Portia turned towards Otunga and slapped the thermal out of his hand.
Portia Perez: We don't need you anymore! Get OUTTA TOWN!
The Ninja's walked off and began to remove their suits. David Otunga looked very sad but Renee did not console him for no one could possibly care about his plight.
