OOC: I wanted to do with this one, which is a much more serious Brooke. I did two because it can help me develop her the way I want. I liked how it turned out. It's not too long.
The scene opens up as we come to see Brooke Hogan sitting in her locker room. She's sitting on the couch and holding a video camera up to her face pointing directing at her. She looks rather serious as she twitches her head back flipping her hair over the shoulder.
Brooke Hogan: I was foolishly naive to think this was going to be a match between two people who could have been friends afterwards. I thought two Brooke's could work together in conquering their dreams and inspiration of being big superstars in women's wrestling. I honestly hoped there would no hard feelings after this match. I was a bad judge of character. You never know what to expect in a person until something big happens. Brooke Tessmacher did not have the nicest things to say about me. In fact, she hardly said anything about me that equaled respect. The best thing she had to say was when she wished me the best of luck. My feelings are hurt, but when my feelings are hurt I come out fighting like a wildcat. She attacked me not only in terms of this business, but personally too. She called me a failed singer when in fact, I am a very successful pop vocalist. It took serious guts to go out and pursue my music career because I had everybody watching me and waiting for me to fall. I refused to let my haters see me sweat.
Brooke stands up as she continues to hold the camera.
Brooke Hogan: I am not just entering in this business to continue my father's legacy, but doing this for my own self as well. I have always wanted to give wrestling a shot because like my father, it has always been my passion. I expected to have critics in this business. I expected for women like Trish Stratus, Natalya, and Torrie Wilson to criticism me for making this choice to step inside a wrestling ring. I did, but I didn't expect it from Brooke. I didn't expect it from a woman who was basically nothing more than a beauty queen. She started off in this business as a little backup dancer for Kelly Kelly. I thought if anybody, Brooke could relate to me. I am not going to underestimate her because I know what she can do, but she has made me that much more determined in beating her tonight.
She lets the camera go with her right hand and streaks through her bangs with it. She lowers her hand to her chest and points to her chest.
Brooke Hogan: The most hurtful thing Brooke said was that if I happened to beat her tonight, she wouldn't be able to get the recognition she wants; in other words, she was asserting that I am nothing more than my father's daughter who is living a foolish dream. My father has always told me to make my dreams a reality and tonight at Death before Dishonor, I am going to make my dream a reality! I will officially become a EBWF diva! I am going to take the critic in Brooke Tessmacher and show her how serious I should be taken in the EBWF women's division. I will show how badly I want to be where the greats like Natalya, Trish, Layla, Angelina Love, and Torrie Wilson have stood. Brooke has done nothing more except lit the flame under my butt to strive for greatness.
She pauses.
Brooke Hogan: This is not about living out a legacy anymore, this is about Brooke Hogan showing everybody that I am not a failure. I am a fierce competitor that will not go down without a fight! Bring it on Brooke!
She takes her right hand to the camera and switches it off as the scene goes to static.
All I want to do is prove I am good enough!
