At Wrestlemania there was a lot of memorable moments and matches. It was one of the more memorable Wrestlemania's in many years. One match that in a lot of ways stole the show was the match for the Intercontinental Championship. Ted Dibiase, Matt Sydal, and The Miz put their bodies on the line and left it all out there, but in the end it was the Miz who won his second Intercontinental Title in the past year. That triple threat ladder match not only left people talking, but it also spearheaded a series of events between the former champion Matt Sydal and the new Champion The Miz. Sydal tried to get the best of Miz during his celebration speech, only to have Miz turn it around on him, and get the upper hand of Sydal again. This momentum would be short lived, as during a match between Miz and AJ Styles Matt Sydal intervened and turned it into a full on assault on Miz. This has set up a return match one on one between these two men, once again in a Ladder Match. Would Miz be 100 percent would remain to be seen, but one would imagine he'd have to be to retain his newly won title against such a hungry young adversary.

The scene opened up outside of a Hospital in Richmond Virginia , the site of last week's Monday Warfare. The camera zoomed in to the entrance of the Hospital, out of the hospital came the Miz. He was wearing a light blue button up and dark blue dressed pants. He had his shirt tucked into his pants and rolled up his sleeves as he walked down the steps in front of the building .He sat down on the steps and began to speak slowly.

The Miz: Are you proud of yourself Matt? Is this what you wanted. Where you wanted to see me? Twice since you lost the Intercontinental Title to this guy sitting in front of you you tried to put me out of action. To weaken me, to soften me up so that you wold have a realistic chance in hell to defeat me and regain a title that, the fact that you ever had it, still baffles pretty much.. well everyone. Seeing me in front of this hospital knowing you put me there with your little pipe, has got to have your little pipe extra excited, but keep your pipe in your pants Matt, because though you may have blindsided me, though you may have sneak attacked me I am A-OK and not only that I can't wait to get back in the ring with you again this Sunday Night.

The Miz stood up and began to walk down the street the camera followed him.


The Miz: Because you see Matt, this Sunday like a little kid gets spanked, or put in timeout. I am going to make you learn a simple lesson, and that lesson is that you don't try to take away the one thing in this world that I love, the one thing in this world that gets me up and out of bed everyday. You don't try to take away my life, Matt, and you don't try to take away MY Intercontinental Title without getting your ass kicked. It's just that simple. Matt at the end of the day you are you and I am I, and though every now and then you may get one over on me, when the lights are on and all eyes are on you, there are just some people that can rise to the occasion. There are just some people capable of showing up better than ever in these moments. I am someone like that Matt. I do it bigger and better than anyone else walking around in the back. You Matt.. are a coward. You grunt you scowl and you think that solidifies you as someone to be taken seriously, but really Matt the only thing that would make that a legitimate possibility, is if you can show up in the moment I just described. Can you show up without your pipe? Without you having the advantage of me having my back to you? Can you stand face to face, with the Greatest of the Great, the Cream of the Crop, your favorite wrestler's favorite wrestler, and outdo me when it matters the most? I think we both know the answer don't we Matt?

The Miz gave a knowing smile to the camera. He put his hand on the side of his mouth so that the camera could see his lips. He mouthed "NO" and shot a quick grin at the camera.

The Miz: Matt, after Sunday, there WILL be another hospital visit that follows an encounter between the two of us. But it won't be another trip for me, Matty. This time it'll be you who's laid up in a bed, alone with your thoughts, and still without the Intercontinental Championship. I am going to embarrass you on Sunday Night Matt, I am going to make you wish that you never tried to step up to the plate when you oh so clearly don't have the bat speed to compete with me. You are going to look across the ring from me and feel like a helpless hitter with the bat on your shoulder, knowing that you can't do anything with what I'm about to throw at you. You are out of your league Sydal, the Intercontinental Championship is out of your league. This Sunday, you are going to get the realization that you should have gotten a long time ago, and that is that I am NOT someone that you want to mess with.. and that Matt.. is because I'm The Miz.. and I'm..

Awesome.

The Miz winked into the camera as the scene cut to static.
