Montreal, Quebec, Canada – We’re here.
[[“Live in Fear” gently plays over the speaker in his hypnotic and haunting tune. The Wyatt family slowly gets to the ring being led by Bray and his lantern.]]
Well this has certainly become a familiar scene.
Jerry Lawler:
You’re right about that JR, and not in a good way. I am sick and tired of seeing these guys every week.
Jim Ross:
Last week at Aftermath we saw the Wyatt family engage in what I can only describe as one of the most brutal attacks we’ve seen in a long time.
Jerry Lawler:
Oh, they had Nash chocking and hanging upside down, these aren’t wrestlers, these are people who should be under arrest for assault JR.
Jim Ross:
It would be hard to argue with you there King. Speaking of Nash, we have no word on how he’s doing. He was medically cleared to fight Ted DiBiase later that night, but I think everyone saw how easily DiBiase disposed of him.
Jerry Lawler:
It’s just plain haunting how deranged these men have proven they can be.
[[Bray Wyatt and his followers get in the ring and blow out the lantern. The house lights come up and the three men stand soaking up the boos of the crowd.]]
We’re here Montreal. Oh yes, yes, yes, you can see us. Here I am. The Eater of World, the Man of a Thousand Truths. I am joined with my brothers Erick and Luke. And here we are, standing in the light for all to see. But, I have warned you all, truth isn’t just what the eyes see and the ears hear. You must open your eyes wider! Listen more closely. The truth is muted, because it is only whispered, and the masses shout their lies! But truth will prevail, truth and justice. That is what was carried out on Randy Orton last Sunday. Orton thought he had the tools, the skills, the ability to carry him through, but I know, we all know, that these deadly games we play aren’t won with God given gifts. Oh no! God gives gifts, but man creates his own victories. Out battlefield was never on an even ground. And I warned him of that. I warned you all. Randy’s lost chapter would prove to be his downfall – and that we were the possessors of his fait.
Jerry Lawler:
What or who is this “lost chapter” of Randy Orton’s past he keeps talking about?
Jim Ross:
Your guess is as good as mine King.
Bray Wyatt:
That is what these EBWF Superstars don’t yet grasp, this isn’t a contest, these are not merely wrestling matches, these are the battles by which wars are won. And I do NOT lose Wars. I waged wars of the mind while the other children played with their dolls – the same is true for today. These men, they play with their toys. They buys their fancy cars, the spend their money, but I play with their lives. The DiBiases might be synonymous with green slips of paper, but the Wyatts are synonymous with red pools of blood.
Even now, little Teddy, my play thing, my Teddy Bear, he has no idea why he’s here tonight. He showed up and saw his name next to mine, and believed, that was enough of a reason for him to get in the ring with me. Soooooo simple. So easy to control. No no my little Teddy Bear, you’re only here because I put you here. YOU defeated Kevin Nash? Or did I? “In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.” The lie is you earned your place, the truth is I control this little world. This whole world, is in my hands. But far be it for me to celebrate a victory that was mapped out so far in advanced. That’s the precious little truth, is that everything I do, every win I accumulate, they are nothing – because I’ve already celebrated ages ago.
I have already won this battle, and the next, and the next, I am about to win the war. A war you don’t even realize is on the horizon. The first shots have yet to be fired, but I know how it plays out. I’ve seen it. Sister Abigail has shown me every step that must be taken, every body that must fall, and every sacrifice that will be made. My family grows, perhaps in the dark, but it grows, and grows. Isn’t that right Randy? Oh yes, he knows. He has caught a glimpse of what happens when my family expands. For one family to become more powerful, others must move down the ladder. This is the way the high born have played their games for millennia, well no more.
Ted DiBiase, you too come from a legacy. A family of esteem, of wealth, of power...well my family did not start at the top of the mountain. We were born from the depths of the dark places you fear going to. The muddy base of the mountain waits for you Teddy Bear. Because once my family assumes our place at the mountain top, there will be no more room for those of you born with the silver spoons in your mouths. We will push you down, and hold your faces in the mud while your drown in filth, just as you have done to us for so long. Does that sound fair to you? For everything you have had handed to you, we will take it away and use it as weight strapped to your ankles to pull you down to the floor of the ocean.
Oh it will be sweet, so sweet to see, justice delivered. A truth revealed, that so much that is wrong with this world comes from the lies of the oppressors. And once we free ourselves from these shackles, the truth will nourish our famished souls that have been deprived for too long.
[[Bray gets down on his knees and holds the microphone up over his head so that Luke and Erick can talk into it.]]
We will have our time soon.
Erick Rowan:
And we are not alone.
Luke Harper:
Our family has grown.
Erick Rowan:
We have become more powerful.
Luke Harper:
We like this new power.
Erick Rowan:
Power over people.
Luke Harper:
Power over their minds.
Erick Rowan:
Power over their bodies.
Luke Harper:
We have only just begun.
Erick Rowan:
Soon they will understand.
Luke Harper:
They will hate it.
Erick Rowan:
They will learn to live with it.
Luke Harper:
Or they won’t...
Erick Rowan:
And that will be the end of them.
[[Bray jumps back up to his feet to continue his sermon of sorts.]]
My brothers speak the truth! And how refreshing it is to hear truthful words shared in this world of deceit we are subjected –
[[WHACK! Erick Rowan is struck in the back with a baseball bat causing him to stumble forward and knock both Harper and Wyatt out of the ring. They get up out of the ring and turn to see Kevin Nash standing, holding a baseball bat with a look of pure hatred on his face.]]
By god, it’s Kevin Nash!
Jerry Lawler:
Where did he come from JR?
Jim Ross:
He must have come from the crowd king!
[[Nash points right at Bray Wyatt and then turns to the downed Erick Rowan, who still has on his sheep mask. He gives him a few more blows with the bat before taking the mask off and batting the mask into the crowd.]]
I never thought I’d say these words, but damn is it good to see Kevin Nash.
Jim Ross:
The Wyatt family sent a message to the EBWF locker room last week, well tonight I think Kevin Nash is sending a message right back!
[[Kevin Nash gets a mic from one of the ring side techs while Bray and Luke Harper back up the ramp watching on. Luke looks genuinely concerned for Rowan, Bray looks emotionally dead, he just stares into Kevin Nash’s eyes.]]
Oh you think I’m done with YOU? Huh?! This isn’t over you fucking freakshow. ‘I go to war!’ Bitch! I don’t go war, I take over, and what I don’t take over, I fucking ruin! You think you’re real cute from last week – well how about I I get real fucking cute here tonight!
[[Nash drops the mic and continues to beat the hell out of Erick Rowan.]]
Would someone get security out here? This is too much.
Jerry Lawler:
Well Nash has a lot of reasons for payback JR.
Jim Ross:
Well this isn’t the time or place for it King. This is a wrestling show, not a show about street muggings.
Jerry Lawler:
I think this is old school locker room justice, and I love it! Couldn’t happen to a worse bunch of people.
[[Security comes running out to pull Nash off of Rowan while EMTs rush to the ring to help him.]]
Well folks, don’t go anywhere, we’ve got more Warfare in just a few moments...
