EBWF studios were some of the best in the industry at producing video packages. Here they released their latest promo featuring AJ Styles, exclusively on ebwf.net to hype the anticipated upcoming match against The Miz.
"Yo Miz, remember me?"
A few images were displayed of Miz and Styles together with Funaki in 2011. The flashback showed the three laughing and having a good time together.
"Of course you do. How could you ever forget about your best friend?"
Images showed how Styles and Miz turned on Funaki later down the line, beating him to a bloody pulp.
"We had so much fun together! Bros over hoes. Money over bitches. Paid, laid, and made."
The flashback showed Ted DiBiase join the faction to create the Trilogy.
"We were unstoppable! The three of us made the holy trinity of wrestling. There wasn't a stable that could compare to is. Past, present, or future."
A glimpse back to Royal Rumble 2011 seen Ted DiBiase win the PTG Championship.
"We recruited one of the best wrestlers in the world, Ted Jr."
Later that night Miz would go on to become World Champion.
"You defined yourself as the leader of the trio when you ran over Brian Kendrick and became World Champion."
The main event saw AJ Styles, the current Intercontinental Champion winning the Royal Rumble Match.
"Or we're you the leader? It was clear that we both appear equal to one another. Together, nobody could fuck with us. Forget DX, forget FedEx, and forget The Shield. In the blink of an eye we had the EBWF by the throat and slowly began to suck the life out of it. The funny thing is, nobody even seen it coming but us."
A compilation of the Trilogy's best moments were shown, from the parties, to the women, to the championships, and finally the pure mayhem they caused against their opponents.
"Caine and Abel were brothers. Jealousy led to their doom. You became jealous of me, Miz. You became jealous of your equal. You were the World Heavyweight Champion. What did you want from me?"
Miz and DiBiase later turned on Styles, beating the hell out of him after he just finished a cage match.
"You tried to stab me in the back, but soon realized just who the hell you were dealing with.
A flashback to WrestleMania XI showed Styles winning the EBWG World Championship from The Miz.
"After all that, I forgave you."
The two were seen reuniting and winning the EBWF Tag Team Championship together in the first ever Triple Threat Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match.
"You're still my brother. We have went to war with others and with one another. We have blazed a trail in this company for being the best in ring competitors in world. We both started from the very bottom and worked our way to the top. I'm still at the top. Miz, well.. You're not."
A glimpse back was shown of Miz getting pinned to lose the Tag Titles. Losing the Intercontinental Championship to John Cena. Failing to win the World Championship against Styles, CM Punk, & Dean Ambrose. The embarrassing compilation ended with Miz' valiant effort the past two Royal Rumble matches only to be thrown out.
"What happened bro? People use to say I was your sidekick. Really?"
A compilation of AJ Styles victories began showing starting with his Royal Rumble victory.
"Really?"
The victories kept coming for Styles leading to a second reign as World Champion.
"I think not. It's no mystery by now, everyone knows I'm better than your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler."
A video package played a quick glimpse of all the times Styles has pinned The Miz in competition.
"I gotta admit, I'm really proud of you. Despite the fact that you've only beat me once out of the hundred and one times we've faced I'm really proud of you."
The footage led to Styles standing in front of a single candle light illuminating his presence.
AJ Styles: "You've managed to become Intercontinental champion once again. Nice job. It's just too bad you have to defend it against me. Now I wanna warn you Miz. I'm no Evan Bourne, Matt Sydal, whoever the hell that was. You won't be in for this walk in the park. Now you may sit around and brag about those hollow victories, but let's be serious, you had it easy. Until now that is. Some people would say I'm your archenemy. We're kinda like Joker and Batman. The greatest of enemies always have the best battles and when we face off in the main event of Death before Dishonor we will indeed have another great battle. To make the stakes just that much higher it's going to be a best of 3 falls match. No ladders. No chairs. Just me and you beating the hell out of each other for that IC championship. It doesn't matter who your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler is, because the best wrestler will win and you're looking at him."
More light revealed Styles standing on a rooftop overlooking the city. The wind blew the candle light out and caused the Styles messy black hair to show his eyes. His glazed over eyes stared into the camera intensely.
AJ Styles: "I'm standing on top of the highest building in the city and I'm baked out of my mind. Miz may think he knows fear, but I'm the ultimate daredevil. I'm not afraid of him in any way shape or form no matter how much he may stick his chest out and act tough. You're a little bitch in my eyes. You've always been a little sniveling bitch. You remind me of the snitch Randall from recess. You're gonna run tell about how AJ has been a bad boy. How AJ hasn't been working as hard as the other kids. Getting stoned, fucking hoes, doing whatever the fuck he wants. True, I have been slacking. I haven't been the man I've usually been inside that ring. Sure, I've picked up a few meaningless victories here and there but nothing qualifying me to face you Miz. You're on a roll and after I lost to Ted DiBiase two weeks ago then there's no way I'm going to beat you for the championship. Wrong. You just don't know how much rage is built up inside of me. I refuse to be that guy who suddenly fades into obscurity. I'm here to stay. Brock Lesnar couldn't take me out, Wes Ikeda couldn't finish me off, I'm pretty sure Miz is the least of my worries. I'm more worried about surviving this jump."
Without any hesitation Styles jumped from the building. His blood was pumping as gravity sucked him into the earth. The thrilling base jump concluded when Styles released a parachute and landed safely in front of the Quicken Loans arena. He made his way into the arena as another camera now began following him.
AJ Styles: "Tonight is the night and to be honest I plan on getting the Intercontinental championship back tonight. The Miz probably cuddles close to it every night in the nude so I would have to bleach it after I win. If I don't win, oh well. If I just hurt him bad enough then I'll probably be able to sleep good. That's what brings me joy. What was I talking about? Oh. Right. The Miz. Listen, Mike you really doesn't want this. At all. I realize that Miz, like every other ignorant, dumbass, thinks I'm just some "angry, stoner, sex addict." I am horny. I can't help it. I sleep with chicks like Trish Stratus while Miz sleeps with well.. Nobody... Nerd... I am angry sometimes when I have to wrestle spineless degenerates like Miz, I get pissed off. And, yes, I do dabble in 'the pot' from time to time. Well, a lot of the time. But that's just short changing and leaving out so many other wonderful drugs. But that's neither here nor there. The point is, I shouldn't have to tell anyone not to underestimate me at this point. My track record speaks for itself. Chris Jericho? His career doesn't exist anymore because of me. Syxx? He's never going to show his face again after what I did to him. From John Cena, to Randy Orton, I've beaten everyone. ..But..wait..I don't need to tell Miz this..he already knows."
Styles quickly navigated his way through the arena and into a small area of fans who were making their way inside. A crowd soon grew around the Phenomenal One as he approached a merchandise booth. He found one of the new Miz shirts and proudly put it on. That sadistic grin that the EBWF audiences have grown used to made an appearance as he looked directly into the camera addressing Miz.
AJ Styles: "Ask Wes Ikeda. Ask Wes how I completely tormented his life. Go ask him if he doesn't see me in his nightmares. The man he is today is all because of what I put him through. He may brag about other bullshit wins but beating me made the old bastard feel alive once again. Maybe he can tell Miz how it felt to catch an ass beating in front of his family. This doesn't have to happen to you tonight in front of your family and friends. But it will. Because not only am I going to beat you once, I'm going to beat you twice, take your title and make you irrelevant to the world once again. It doesn't attest how many weed jokes you make, or how much you discuss my sex life, because god knows you're not discussing yours. Velvet wouldn't give you some ass in a million years so get over yourself big boy. You have a better chance of getting with a French whore like Maryse. Which isn't much. About the same chance you have of walking out of Ohio as the Intercontinental champion. It's like this, Miz. Dreams, just like the one you're living, are meant to end. You have to wake up. Holding onto a dream is like trying to hold smoke. It's useless and you look like an idiot. The Miz's dream of being a REAL champion is fake and never going to happen. You are going to have your dreams extinguished when I beat you tonight. Bringing your sad ass back to REALITY once again. This is the REAL WORLD! And in the real world you winning would NEVER happen. Don't let all of my fuck ups fool you. Ohio's murder rate isn't high but tonight it’s going to get a little higher. Physically, I'll kill The Miz. Mentally, he's already dead. See you out there, Mike."
Styles finished his promo and made his way through the crowd back into the arena. The time for talking was over, of Styles wanted to back up his words now would be the time to do it.
