The Animal's Turn To Deal With It

Post by Raza »

Last week we found out that EBWF had signed Sami Zayn to a contract, and last week he made his first appearance on screen; he told the world that he had arrived and told the champions that he knows he is coming for their gold very soon. He wished his first competitor the best of luck because he was going to get the best of Sami Zayn whenever he makes his in-ring debut; and we recently found out that Sami Zayn will in fact be making his highly anticipated debut in a couple of days’ time at Warfare…against The Animal, Batista.

We saw the cameras fade inside the EBWF Performance Center and we got a glimpse of people using the new gym equipment, available to use for the superstars of the company. The cameras went towards a corner near the trainers area, and we saw the head trainer of the Performance Center on the ground, testing the knee of the new EBWF Superstar; Sami Zayn. They began to discuss something over the loud ruckus in the gym; Sami Zayn then noticed the camera and told the cameraman to stay there, he laughed with the trainer as he helped him up and Zayn guided the cameraman throughout the gym.

Sami Zayn: Welcome…EBWF fans to the home of EBWF superstars and divas, the place we hone our skills and practice some of the deadliest moves for your enjoyment and entertainment, notice how the majority of the roster is here and are training hard for their upcoming King and Queen of the Ring matches, just as they should be; hard work is what gets you far in life; but Mr. Cameraman please take a look around, look inside the ring, look at the machines, look at the weights area, what you won’t find is a jacked up animal who I take on at Warfare. But again, what else do we expect from Dave? Hard work? Dedication? The drive to succeed? I don’t think so, not anymore.

Sami Zayn: I’m here for myself as much as I am here for you fans, I am here to train to stay in shape, to make sure I pick up new skills from some of the superstars and divas here, teach a thing or two and learn a thing or two. My debut match is coming, where else would I be? At home? Laying on a hammock on a beach sipping on a cocktail? No, where I am…is home.

Sami Zayn: I am excited, excited for my debut match, excited to see the looks on all of your faces and your children’s faces when I get inside that ring and hear the bell ring, I am excited to see what the future holds for me in EBWF and I vow to give it my all against Dave. I know what he is capable of, he wasn’t called The Animal for no reason, but he’s not so much of the animal we’re used to, someone who is behind a cage. But he’s now probably more of the…pet type of animal…like a little pussycat and often gets lost but always…comes back to its owner. I know what most of you think may happen when I step inside that ring with him, and I don’t blame you; he towers over me. But that depends on if he can catch me, he blinks once and it’s game over Dave.

Sami Zayn then laughed and told the camera to follow him to an empty ring, the cameraman stayed on the outside of the ring, face to face with Zayn who was leaning over the ropes and looking at some of the superstars and divas competing in the other rings before looking back at the camera and maintaining his big smile.

Sami Zayn: Win or lose at Warfare, the fans need to know I gave it my all for them to have a good night, injured knee or not. Look at these superstars and divas, they’re in here every day bright and early to make sure they stay one step ahead of their challengers, the same applies to me. As I said last week, champions, even you King of the Ring competitors; I am keeping a close eye on what’s going on and who I need to beat to make sure I get to the top, where I will be satisfied; this time anything less is unacceptable. I know I had what it took to be a big star in the WWE; but that’s where EBWF saw differently as they saw the real Sami Zayn, a superstar who can carry this company. The champions need to sleep with one eye open and the eventual King should watch his back, I’m not backing down from anybody, least of all Dave Batista.

He laughed a little so fans know he’s not a bad guy or even angry, but just telling it how it is.

Sami Zayn: Look, don’t get me wrong. I don’t know Dave Batista that well to judge his personal life but I believe we all know him enough to judge his career inside the ring. I respect what Batista has achieved in his wrestling career, but when it comes down to it and when we’re both sitting on our rocking chairs being tended to by nurses in our retirement homes, or even when we’re dead; fans will look back and realise that actually…Sami Zayn achieved more, they’ll realise Batista was not on Sami Zayn’s level.

Sami Zayn: As much as I respect what Batista has achieved, whether it be capturing countless World Championships or being…adequately successful in Hollywood; nobody, not even I can take that away from him. But ever since I made the decision to become a wrestler back as a teenager, ever since I stepped into the ring for the very first time; I was better than Dave Batista. Look, I might not be as tall as Dave, or as jacked up as Dave, or even seen as the model each superstar should follow, I might not have his colossal house and even his beach house for his countless vacations, I don’t have the fancy clothes Batista has and I definitely can’t rock the skinny jeans like he can. I don’t have the cars, I don’t have a large wallet and there is no way in hell any Hollywood agency is going to call me up offering a part in a Hollywood flick any time soon.

Sami Zayn: But what I do have, and this trumps everything that Batista has, is the passion, the drive and the determination to succeed and be the best superstar I can possibly be. I’ve been knocked down, knocked back more times than I care to remember, but what I did was I got back up, dusted myself off and continued doing what I do, wrestle. Whether it be under a mask or showing my face, I did it. It could be inside a wrestling ring in front of a thousand fans, it could be at a dead-end show in front of 20 fans, it could be in this ring where nobody but a trainer is watching or it could be on a field where we improvise and stick up four corners and wrestle in front of an old camera phone, I’ve never given up and I never will and now I’m soaking in this atmosphere and reaping the rewards here at EBWF where the fans chant my name and they fail to remember yours Dave.

Sami Zayn: I deserve a career here, I deserve to be better than Batista because unlike him I never quit, I saw Batista make his return, well, one of his many returns, and this time what was it? Oh yeah, this time we saw him on a beach, on a hammock with his lemon wedge in his fancy old drink soaking in the lavish lifestyle, whatever, whatever. I’m not about that. Granted, he may have been on his vacation and announced his intentions, but I announced myself on the scene during my vacation too, but my vacation takes place in this building right here, I announced my signing doing what I love.

Sami Zayn: This isn’t one of the older companies Batista has competed in, this isn’t the WWE; he doesn’t have friends in positions of authority, wearing suits and putting gold around Batista’s waist at will, this is the EBWF and right now we’re equal and I know that’s probably eating you up inside. Nobody here at EBWF will help you get to the top, you’re in a position I have found myself in, in every single promotion I have ever competed for, but win or lose I either walk out of the arena with a smile on my face to send the fans home happy, or I look down because I came so close where I gave my all. What I don’t do is pack my bag, cry and leave because things don’t go my way.

He walked around the ring for a short while before shadow boxing a little and running from rope to rope as a warm up. He then walked back towards the camera, smiling, and continued.

Sami Zayn: When Batista is winning he is on top of the world, he loves the fame and respect that comes with it, but the difference between Dave Batista and Sami Zayn is that when Sami Zayn loses, he uses it as motivation to come back stronger, whereas when Batista loses he cries and backs himself into a corner into a little ball where nobody can call him out, he ups and leaves. Starting at Warfare Batista will back himself into a corner again, and when he backs himself in that corner I’m going to see him and run to hit the Helluva Kick square on his jaw. I’m going to kick him so hard he will decide to quit…again.

Somebody called out Sami Zayn's name as he turned around and acknowledged the wrestler training at the facility

Sami Zayn: I think it’s time for you guys to leave and wait in anticipation for my debut against Dave, please, I urge you fans to tune in to Warfare for my debut, and I apologise to any fans Batista might have held on to, and I advise the Hollywood agencies to keep your cell phones ready and Batista on speed dial, because the way things are playing out in my head, Batista won’t be sticking around much longer, perhaps Marvel will need Drax for a potential sequel and if so I am willing to help them out so Batista can start promoting it right now.

Sami Zayn: ‘Deal with it’, the mantra Batista is bashing down our throats every day, Batista won’t stick around once he loses to somebody like Sami Zayn, someone he may see as inferior, once that does happen Dave…deal with it.

Sami Zayn laughed as he walked back and an unknown wrestlers stepped into the ring and they began to train as the EBWF cameras faded after some strong words from a determined Sami Zayn.

OOC: Sorry if it's not at a good standard, still getting the hang of this.
