OOC: I'm sorry that this is short and... The quality's lacking a little, but next time that shouldn't be an issue. And believe me, this RP took a very different direction to my gimmick than I had anticipated, but I like it. Pretty sure my opponent's handler is Jayme, who is/has been at Slammiversary, but I can't really rely on that since Tony RPed out of nowhere on Ashlee. Haha. This OOC part's getting as long as the promo. Best of luck. :)

The scene opens to a room that bears concrete walls, though it's far from empty like similar rooms in the backstage area of a wrestling arena. On the walls are brightly colored posters of various divas and superstars, many of which can be found within the roster of the EBWF. On the floor are a couple of white rugs, set to impecably match the placement of one another, and in the far left corner is a blue-grey backpack and a green suitcase. It looks as if it could perhaps be a makeshift locker room of sorts. Someone steps in front of the camera; a diva in ring attire, though her head is out of the camera's view until she crouches down in front of it and smiles into the camera. The face is that of none other than Mickie James.

Mickie: Hey, EBWF universe. I know, it's not something that you or I are used to, me just here in front of a camera talking to you. I'll try to keep things short, but I have a few things to address and it was unfortunately first in, first serve when it came to interviews and I've had a lot of preparation keeping me busy. Obviously by now you can tell that the rumors are true, even though it was already mentioned on the EBWF's website. I am now officially a part of this wonderful EBWF roster, and in fact, I found out just a few hours ago who my opponent for Warfare will be. If you don't already know, my opponent is none other than Angelina Love, and it's a match in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Usually, I know exactly what to say and what kind of strategy to go into a match with, but...

Mickie sighs as she brushes back her hair and looks back into the camera.

Mickie: It isn't so easy to do this time around. I'm facing a two time Women's Champion in a debut match, but that hasn't been bothering me. She's in a tag team with Velvet Sky, but that hasn't been on my mind either. I've only been thinking about the Queen of the Ring tournament and the direction it may take me. For all of you who have been watching wrestling shows for quite some time, you know that in any company, people come and go. In a matter of seconds, careers can be made or ended. In my case, I've established a career already. But not like Angelina has in this company. Any match can take a turn for the worse, and I can't have that. I need to make an impact, and this tournament would be a brilliant way to do it. Don't get me wrong. If I do get eliminated from the tournament, that's on me, and I will get back up and dust myself off like I always have. It's just that I can't allow myself to sink instead of swim. If there's one thing I want to come out of this match with more than the win, it's to keep you, the fans, entertained and to help distract you from anything that might be bothering you. Even if that's just for a little while. So tonight, I need all of your help. Your support makes all of the difference to me. That is all that I need to win. So, Angelina, I'm not forgetting about you. I don't know what it is exactly that I want to say to you, so I'll just leave you with this: However this match may go, we both have our reasons to win. But you're going to need to bring everything you have into that ring if you want to slow me down. Because I never slow down when it comes to these fans. I'm here for them. To inspire them. To embody everything that they want to be and then some. And if anything or anyone tries to prevent me from doing that, I'll always find a way of fighting through it. Now, the match is coming up shortly, so I gotta go. I love you all.

Mickie blows a kiss to the camera with a smile, as she presses the button at the top of the camera to shut it off.
