Match 02: Seth Rollins Vs. R-Truth Vs. Mr Kennedy Vs. Tyler Breeze Vs. Diego Vs. Fernando Vs. Sami Zayn Vs. Kofi Kingston Vs. D'Angelo Dinero Vs. Batista
King of the ring.
Being the King of the Ring means you own the ring. Nobody can touch you. That you are unstoppable. Last Monday on Warfare, Seth Rollins proved to the world that he is unstoppable. Rollins went into that match with the odds stacked against him. He was up against "The Animal" Batista and his former partner, Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins said he was going to pin Roman Reigns to show that he was the strongest member in the Shield and he did that. Seth Rollins made believers out of the fans at Warfare and he isn't going to stop there. This Sunday, EBWF was hosting it's annual pay-per-view, "King of the Ring". Seth Rollins was expecting the day off and was going to relax backstage and check out the PPV but he was mistaken. He would be opening the show with several other superstars names like Sami Zayn, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, all guys who have came into the company and really made their mark. These competitors would be competing in an over the top rope, battle royal. The catch is, the winner will become the number one contender for the Breakout Championship. This championship has major prestige. Guys like Trent? have held the title. Guys like Daniel Bryan, Matt Sydal and even the current champion Damien Sandow. All guys who are main-event material have held onto the belt and Seth Rollins wants to be the next guy. Flashback to February 13th. 2010. At that point in time Seth Rollins didn't exist, but Tyler Black did. Tyler Black existed and Tyler Black ruled the Internet Wrestling Community. If you were talking indy wrestling, you were talking Tyler Black! Tyler Black was everything a fan in wrestling wanted. He could fly. He had strength. He had charisma, and he was dedicated to his work. He was passionate and everybody saw that. In professional wrestling, the only way to show off your hard work is to be holding the World title in your company. On February 13th, 2010, Tyler Black took that opportunity. He became the main man. He beat Austin Aries at the "8th Anniversary Show", he held onto the title for 210 days and he left a lasting legacy at Ring of Honor. Now, Seth Rollins is here and Seth Rollins is going to have a similar rise to fame that Tyler Black did, only this time, everybody knows what he is capable of . Everybody in the battle royal knows how good Seth Rollins really is. Our scene opens backstage where Renee Young had been interviewing stars in preparation for the pay-per-view that was going to be broadcasted live from the Spring Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Her next guest was going to be none other than Seth Rollins. The Architect. The man who could very well become the next Breakout Champion of EBWF. The cameras began to record as the crowd was treated with the lovely Renee Young with a microphone in hand. She began to speak, introducing her guest, "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. He is going to be in the Battle Royal to kick off the show, Seth. Rollins!" Rollins enters the scene in his usual attire. The all black gear with a protective vest over it. He looked determined. He looked like he was on a mission, and that mission was to become the Number One Contender for the Breakout Championship. Renee proceeded to ask Seth her first question, "Seth Rollins, last week on Monday Night Warfare, you defeated your former best friend and Batista. How did that help your confidence?" Seth Rollins looked at Renee, smirked and opened his mouth to answer her question.

Confidence? Renee have you not been listening to what I've been saying? For the past two weeks since I've been in EBWF I've said, "Believe in Seth Rollins"a and how would I be able to believe in myself if I had no confidence? Seth smirks before continuing on.Roman Reigns and Batista were just the first steps in master plan. Renee, this plan is unbeatable. The best in this company won't stand a chance if I stick to this game plan. Everybody in EBWF has been put on notice. They saw what happened to Roman Reigns and Batista and the same can and WILL happen to them. You see I've hidden in the shadows for far to long Renee. I've watched far too many opportunities pass me by, and that's not going to happen again, I can promise you that. I'm hungrier than everybody backstage, I'm hungrier than anybody in this business! It's funny that this pay-per-view is called King of the Ring because that's exactly what I am, a king! Everybody else are servants that will be cut off one by one!
A grin would crack Rollins' hardened face. His words were strong, some may have latched onto Seth Rollins' cause, others haven't. It doesn't matter to him who he has to cross in his path. At the end of it all, he will be representing this company with the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship and there is nothing anybody can say about that. Renee then began to ask her second question, this time focusing it on the battle royal,"Seth, tonight you will be opening the show in a ten man battle royal where the winner will either face Mick Foley or Damien Sandow for the Breakout Championship. What is your strategy going into that match?" Seth Rollins looks straight into the eyes of Renee before answering the question.

Strategy? I don't need a strategy. My name almost immediately stands out from the others. Diego? Fernando? Tyler Breeze? Just to name a few guys who don't meet my standards. The thing is, I'm fine with it. I'm fine with their mediocrity because it just makes life easier for me. All I have to do is toss nine other superstars over the top rope then I either have to face Damien Sandow or Mick Foley, two men I am clearly better than. I have been held back for two years by two men that have faltered since the end of the Shield but I've done everything but falter. I didn't fall through the cracks. I just evolved. I evolved into the Seth Rollins that was always inside of me, but never released. Now, I've unleashed it and nothing can stop me. You can through the entire locker room in that locker room and it wouldn't change a damn thing. I'm going to look around the ring and see nine other men, hungry, eager for a chance at the Breakout Championship and in the blink of an eye I'm going to see nine men on the floor, clutching an injured body part. Depressed, disappointed, and embarrassed that they even showed up to Kansas City because they forgot to believe in Seth Rollins. That's what this is all about. All of this. All of this talking, all of these gameplans, all of these matches are to make believers out of Seth Rollins, and excuse me Renee because that's exactly what I'm about to do.
Seth Rollins doesn't even care if Renee has anymore question he just walks off and the scene fades at that. Seth Rollins is on his way to gorilla position as his match is up in a couple of minutes. Seth Rollins was determined, Seth Rollins was ready for anything to come his way. He has waited for this opportunity to show the entire world why they should all believe in him and in a matter of moments on the opening match of King of the Ring, they would all finally believe.

King of the Ring had begun. The pyrotechnics the super energetic EBWF Universe. They had waited weeks for this and they were finally getting it. They were going to see "The Best in the World" CM Punk take on the EBWF World Champion, John Cena in a Tables Match. Also, we will see The Miz defend his Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match against Syxx and Bad News Barrett. Another noteworthy match was Damien Sandow and Mick Foley for the Breakout Championship. King of the Ring was definitely a stacked card with some incredible matches on paper that are sure to deliver but the only match that Seth Rollins cares about is the opening match. The battle royal. The match that will determined who will become number one contender for the Breakout Championship. Mr. Kennedy. Diego. Fernando. Sami Zayn. Tyler Breeze. Kofi Kingston. Batista. D'Angelo Dinero. R-Truth. Seth Rollins. Which name stood out the most? That's right, Seth Rollins' name did. He is the most formidable name in that list and that is why he is coming into this match with his head held high. Moments after the opening display, "Miseria Cantare" by AFI blasted out the speakers and this meant that Seth Rollins was going to be appearing soon. A few moments later Rollins walks out to a mixed reaction by the crowd. Rollins has a stone cold face on as he walks down the ramp, staring straight at the ring not worrying about anything else. Instead of entering the ring, he climbs the top turnbuckle and beats his chest with both hands a few times. Rollins drops down and takes the microphone out of the hand of the announcer and begins to address the EBWF Universe.

The Breakout Championship, this is what all of this about? Rollins stops and reflects on the prestige of the Breakout Championship before continuing onWell, that championship is going to be around my waist before you know it and I will bring back relevancy to that championship. Damien Sandow has made a mockery out of that championship for far to long and nobody has been able to do anything about it. You want to know why? Because they didn't believe in themselves. You've probably heard this before and you probably didn't take it seriously but if you believe in yourself, then you can achieve anything. That Breakout Championship is just another step into my lengthy plan to owning this company and being champion. None of the other nine superstars in this match can even touch my excellence. Nobody in this match has the star power to be a champion, they don't know the meaning of a champion, but I'm going to teach them. I'm going to teach them a lot of things tonight. I'm going to teach them that they haven't evolved. They aren't at my standards they are still in the little leagues while I'm in the major leagues. I was apart of the biggest faction in sports entertainment history and not only was I apart of it, I built it. Now, I'm on my own and I'm going to just as big an impact as I did in the Shield. So yes, ten men will enter but only one will survive and I can promise you that Seth Rollins will be the one.
Seth Rollins pauses for a moment as the crowd is digesting every single word coming out of the mouth of Seth Rollins. The crowd was still not too sold on Seth Rollins yet, he did come off very confident and arrogant, but he has a right to be with all of the talent he possesses. Rollins clears his throat and brings the microphone back to his mouth and continues to address the crowd.

All ten of these men have something to prove. Something to show to the world, but none of them have a bigger target on their shoulders then I do. Mr. Kennedy is coming back tonight and is looking to reprise his embarrassing career. Batista is going to try and seek revenge after his loss to me last Monday on Warfare. Then the rest are just irrelevant. The thing is, what I'm trying to prove is that I can be just as dominant on my own as I was in the Shield. Unlike everybody in this match, I'm not a low point in my career, I'm at the highest point, I've paid my dues and now I'm here. I'm here where I belong and where I belong is a champion. This match means nothing to me. This is just a bunch of guys in my ring fighting for MY title. EBWF are actually embarrassing themselves by having these guys in a match with me. I should be facing John Cena, I should be facing CM Punk! I shouldn't be treated with this kind of match. All nine of these superstars so to speak will be over the top rope faster than Wes Ikeda can say "You're Fired". All of these men are diseases to professional wrestling. They ruin you people's experience. You go home and instead of considering this the best night of your life, you consider it a huge mistake. Well, I'm not going to do that to you. When I was younger, I went to see Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold, The Rock, all superstars that were great but I set out to be better than them. So many people set out to be just like them, but that's not good enough for me. I know I can be better, I know I can DO better and tonight marks the start. Every night marks the start of a new chapter!
Seth Rollins wasn't done yet. He didn't care if he was wasting time on this pay-per-view but he wanted to talk and he was going to talk. He wanted to be heard and he was going to be heard. He wanted to kill the spirits of every single wrestler in his match, he wanted to prove to them how much more superior he was and since they weren't out there, he was going to do it with words. His stone-cold, blunt words. Rollins raised the microphone back to his lips still with the same serious facial expression on his face, Seth began to speak this time directing his speech to Sami Zayn.

Like I said, there is so many embarrassing names in this match. There are guys who don't even know the beautiful art of professional wrestling but I can't say that for Sami Zayn. Sami and I have some history together. Remember when you wore a mask Sami? When you call yourself El Generico. Yeah, you were good, you can wrestle but that's exactly what you were generic. You don't have any character any purpose. You were just like everybody else in the indies and when you come here, everybody respects you. Everybody respects the fact that you came from the indies, so they look cool and look like they are so different. Well, in reality. In my eyes, a guy who dominated the indies, you are nothing special. Yeah, you are a better wrestler than a Tyler Breeze or a D'Angelo Dinero but when you stepped into the ring with a guy like me, you fell flat. Just like your entire wrestling career. I don't mean to single you out buddy because yes, you are generic but so is my man, Kofi Kingston. Heh, Kofi, you took the easy way out. You tried to be somebody else. You tried to be Prince Nana! You try to pull off that Ghana schtick because there isn't a creative bone in your body. The only thing that I can commend about you is that you put your body on the line every night for these people? Or do you? Do you really do it for the people or do you do it for the money? Because everybody would love to pay to see a high flyer rather than a boring old guy like Dave Batista or D'Angelo Dinero. You are another breed of professional wrestler that I despise. You are only in it for the glory, you don't have a clue what real wrestling is. Well, in a few moments Kofi, class is in session because I'm going to school you in MY ring, because I'm the KING of the Ring!
Seth Rollins looked around, seeing the faces of the EBWF Universe. None of them seemed to be too interested in what Rollins was saying but he truly believed he was saying the truth. He was saying what nobody had the guts to say, he felt there is a major problem in the industry that he loves and he feels like the only person who can fix that is himself. Seth Rollins raises the microphone back to his lips and finishes off his statement before getting ready for his match.

In a few moments, nine other guys are going to step in this ring and in a few moments nine other guys are going to be sailing over the top rope and that is going to be courtesy of Seth Rollins. I'm going to be the catalyst of change in this company.; This company needs a lot of change and nobody will do that because nobody has the guts to. Nobody will put their body on the line for YOU! Nobody will win matches FOR YOU! Nobody will try to change things FOR YOU! People may come in and tell you that they love you and they do this for you, but do they really? Do they put on lackluster matches and lose repeatedly for you? As for me. This is all for the fans. You got me here and I've stayed here. This battle royal isn't only for the Breakout Championship, it is for you guys. This is all for you guys but I do request something... Don't call me "The Architect" anymore. Call me "The Agent of the Fall". Because I will be the agent who caused the fall of this sick and twisted generation of wrestling. I will bring wrestling back to where it should be, and yes that means me holding that EBWF World Championship but for now the Breakout Championship will do. I will take out all nine of these guys and you probably won't see their faces again because they aren't in my image. My image of how this place SHOULD be. That image will be amazing, this place will be fun again and if you don't believe me, you are making the same mistake that the other nine guys are bound to make, not Believing in... SETH ROLLINS.
"Miseria Cantare" begins to blast out the speakers once again as Seth Rollins drops the microphone and stands in the corner looking straight at the entrance ramp awaiting the other opponents to enter the match. This was going to be a great opening match. All ten of these men want to win but he definitely seems like Seth Rollins has the most drive and desire to win, but he has to talk the talk.
