Justin Gabriel vs. Sami Zayn
Posted: Sun Jul 27, 2014 12:30 pm
The cameras follow Zayn as he begins to breathe heavily, sighs of relief after an impressive match for the fans but for himself as well, knowing he needed a victory this time round after losing to Justin Gabriel in a close encounter the week before. He continued to walk backstage wiping the sweat off of his face and taking a bottle of water from a table containing food and water; he finished half of the bottle instantly before walking on, and as expected he ran into Renee Young, for an interview for the EBWF App which the fans can video online.
RENEE YOUNG
Sami, is it a good time to hear your thoughts on your match just now?
SAMI ZAYN
Of course, Renee.
RENEE YOUNG
Well Sami; it’s safe to say you didn’t have the easiest of weeks, you were under intense scrutiny for your…outburst last week as well as a media appearance which didn’t finish on a high note, but you came back from it all and walked out victorious in a tough triple threat match against Mr. Kennedy and Seth Rollins.
SAMI ZAYN
You’re right, it was a horrible, frustrating week for me; I wasn’t thinking straight and I’ve apologised countless times to anyone that was offended including Justin, but I think I turned it all around, I used it all to my advantage, I finally realised I need to get these things off my chest like I did before the match, I told Kennedy what I was going to do and I told Seth Rollins what I really think, it felt good, I felt pumped and I deserved that win no matter what anyone else thinks or says, from now on its focus, I’m not someone who expresses his whole life on social media, nobody knows me personally and I’m not going to start now because all of the guys at the back, everyone; they’re showing their weakness every single day they update a status or send a tweet; it’ll be their own downfall Renee, and I’m going to be lurking in the shadows, stepping up to the plate when I see them weak, whenever the company allows me to show what I can do and tonight I think they’ll need to revaluate my position here.
RENEE YOUNG
Everyone seems to be impressed with you so far, you can hear the reaction from the fans still when your music hits and when you talk, I am hearing the management are also impressed but the key think we picked up on – I’m not sure if you did – was good ol’ JR on commentary, questioning whether your victory out there had any title implications? What do you think of that?
SAMI ZAYN
The fans know I’m doing this for them, I’m a wrestling fan as much as them, if I perform bad I kick myself and they’re not impressed, tonight that wasn’t the case, and I hope you’re right, the management does need to open their eyes at last, it’s about time. Title implications…do I want to sound big-headed? Nope. But do I think I deserve a title shot? Of course, I think I’ve proved myself that I can hang at the top; and if JR thinks so then I believe I am definitely doing something right, thanks Renee.
Sami Zayn cut the interview short so he can leave without talking too much as he did the previous week which could have gotten him in a lot more trouble. The camera shuts off as Renee Young walks away with Sami Zayn walking in the opposite direction, into the locker room. Moments later Zayn is seen walking out of the locker room in his normal day-to-day attire and shuts the door behind him, pulling his suitcase as he does so; the night is almost over as we can still hear the crowd as they are watching the dark match to send them home happy, as most of the talents are also preparing to leave and travel to the next destination wherever that may be. Sami is walking slower in the backstage area, obviously tired from the night; he exits the building and before he approaches his car his eye catches a number of workers who are co-ordinating to hanging up massive posters for a future event, he can’t get a clear view but he does manage to see Edward Kaufman, the executive vice president of consumer products who has a number of large files and plans in his hands, he sees Sami approaching him as the two shake hands.
EDWARD KAUFMAN
How you doing Sami? Congratulations on your victory tonight.
SAMI ZAYN
Thanks Ed, what’s all this?
EDWARD KAUFMAN
We’re just arranging the final few posters and advertisements for the Sacrifice pay-per-view this upcoming weekend, you’ve even got your face on it this time so well done.
SAMI ZAYN
My face? So I have a match then?
EDWARD KAUFMAN
You didn’t know? There, up there…Chis Jericho takes on John Cena and right underneath that we have Sami Zayn vs. Justin Gabriel; number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship.
SAMI ZAYN
Oh sweet! Looks like I get my chance to exact revenge on Justin, I’m guessing you’re going to tell me I have a busy week as well?
EDWARD KAUFMAN
I don’t know the ins and outs of your media work this week, what I do know is that you’re going to be at the performance centre on Wednesday for the video package to build up and hype the match between you and Justin, so just go there, do your workout and the production team will be there by 3PM I should imagine, but with that if you are going to be in the public eye, whether it’s for the video package or you’re going out in front of a camera, I would suggest you wear the new t-shirt I had designed, some new colours I think will sell well, especially this week.
SAMI ZAYN
Yeah I’ve just picked it up from the locker room, it looks good; you better start getting your workers to start selling these then, I’ll catch you later Ed.
They shook hands once more as Sami Zayn turned around and burst out with a massive grin on his face, finding out he has a match at Sacrifice against the man that defeated him last week on Warfare, Justin Gabriel. This time the stakes are higher with the opportunity to fight for the Intercontinental Championship hanging in the balance. He threw his luggage in the back seat before turning around once more, looking at the impressive Sacrifice poster; eyeing up his own image as well as Justin Gabriel who was placed next to him, before smiling and sitting in the driver’s seat and driving to the hotel, before long journey from Phoenix to San Diego begins.

It’s Wednesday 23 July, a warm and sunny afternoon outside the EBWF Performance Center where a couple of vans have been in the parking lot for a while, the cameras go inside and they belong to the EBWF production crew who are here to shoot some video packages, now focusing on the match between Justin Gabriel and Sami Zayn which takes place at Sacrifice this Sunday. Sami Zayn is finishing his workout which has been recorded and will be edited to fit into the video package later, and now he has to sit down inside the ring and talk about it before doing some voiceovers for his clips. The production crew arrange Sami so he looks presentable, wearing the latest Sami Zayn t-shirt which will be available to purchase soon. The lighting, the location and the noise as well, before clipping a microphone on him and rolling the cameras.
SAMI ZAYN
This is where I spend the majority of my time, if I’m not at the arena or inside the ring, then I am at home, if I am not at home then you’re guaranteed to find me here working on my game plan for my next match, keeping fit and helping out everyone else wherever I can. This helps, it keeps me focused because in the EBWF you’ll find that certain superstars have a gift of having a big mouth and using it to get under other people’s skin and I know everyone saw that with Justin Gabriel, I personally believe that once he left the WWE he realised it wasn’t ever going to be about how good he is inside the ring, but whether he had the balls to actually talk, I don’t know if he was afraid to talk, whether he gets nervous on the microphone or whether he didn’t have the chance, if he did what he is doing now on the microphone in the WWE; then I believe Justin would have a much more successful career, more successful than he would have wanted and more successful than he thinks he is. If there is one thing that brings my focus down is that I dwell too much on the past, not on past results because I’ve had my ass kicked more times than I would care to remember, but it’s words; here words seem to cause a lot more pain and suffering than any manoeuvre; and Justin is famous here for being outspoken which kind of diminishes his whole persona of being this fantastic, high-flying wrestler but that’s his decision. I know he loves talking, he loves the spotlight, the women, he wants cameras on him 24/7, 365 days a year because he think he is that good, the difference is I KNOW I am that good. I’m just old school, I want people remembering me as the man who gave it his all inside the ring, not someone who slept with countless women, talked a lot of crap along the way as well. A fresh fish is what he called me, fine by me; I am new here but I guess it just shows how far this fresh fish has come since he’s been here whilst you’re still lingering at the bottom of the pile, if there was one piece of advice I could give Justin if he was here I would say keep the mouth shut and let the in-ring work do all the talking. Fair enough, I’ll man up and say that Justin Gabriel was the better last week when he just about defeated me, I’ll grant him that win but I don’t make the same mistake twice. He believes…he’s on a different level to me and in his head he’s the best thing going but let’s take a step back; right now he’s on the same level as me, if he think he’s the best then I’m certainly one better. He was right, I do want to prove that I am here to stay, but I think I’ve already proven that, taking Justin to the limit, coming so close to winning that battle royal, defeating The Undertaker, Ken Kennedy and Seth Rollins; that’s not a bad resume and this weekend Justin Gabriel will be checked off too. It’s not being bitter, it’s about the will to be the best and if that makes me sound big headed and arrogant then so be it, because I NEED to beat Justin Gabriel, it’s as simple as that. Another loss to him and I’m back at the bottom where I don’t belong, I should be hanging with the best of them, but as know because I don’t have the looks or their personalities or the fan base, I don’t think I can ever reach that height. So I have to settle with this, it’s more than I could ask for, don’t get me wrong. But I know I am better, better than Justin, Syxx and The Miz for the matter as well. That Intercontinental Championship is coming home with me, where it belongs and I assure all three of you, it’s staying with me.
Last week Justin was in no mood to play any games, this week it’s my turn. The games, the jokes, the light-hearted attitude to everything is out of the window, when a prestigious title like this is on the line; which one of us is obviously going to compete for, you forget who your friends and enemies are because you have one common goal, and this time it’s the chance to compete for the Intercontinental Championship. Expect the unexpected, that was a clear message Justin sent to me, and he followed up on it. This time I want Justin, the announcers, the commentary team, the EBWF board and the fans to expect the unexpected, even though I know I am better than Justin, I’m still the underdog and when this underdog is walking up the ramp with his arms raised in the air; people will see me differently, they’ll acknowledge me as a serious threat in the company, and then one day when you and your production crew are sitting here opposite me, I’ll be saying the exact same thing, the only difference will be that I’ll be saying I will walk out as the World Champion, Punk, Cena, Jericho; whoever it is that decides to stick around for that long. My time is coming, and it’s coming real soon. Justin Gabriel needs to put that phone of his down, log out of those social media accounts, stay away from those 17-year-old girls and focus on the match because this opportunity is going to slip right by him, and I’ll be there to capitalise on every, single…mistake.
The cameramen signal to Sami that his piece is now over and they’ll begin to edit it over a video package featuring Justin Gabriel and other EBWF talents. He then watches over the video before shaking hands and leaving the building, preparing for other things he has to take part in or wants to take part in for the remainder of the week.

It’s now Friday 25 July, we’re now in California. More specifically in San Diego as the annual San Diego Comic Con is taking place in the City. A lot of activities have already taken place with great attendance figures this year, the TV show panels have been packed out, and the likes of DC and Marvel have also shown what they’ll be offering in the coming years with some highly anticipated content. One of the panels on show today is that of EBWF and some other smaller wrestling promotions, trying to promote their company and bring in more fans. One person attending this year’s convention as a fan is none other than Sami Zayn, using his day off and the fact that EBWF Sacrifice will also be in California to his advantage. It seems as if Sami Zayn has already been at the event for a good couple of hours now, sitting through various panels and looking at some of the content on offer, he is seen walking through a crowded hall on his way to another panel, awaiting the exhibit hall to open until he is approached and stopped by two men who want to conduct an interview with him, to his surprise as not many people have even recognised him at the event.
INTERVIEWER
Sami Zayn! Great to see you here! Where are you headed next?
SAMI ZAYN
Wow, I’m surprised you recognised me…it’s great to be here. I was ready to leave but I saw on the schedule that the EBWF panel will be on soon, so I thought why not? Take a seat and see what we’ve got on offer.
INTERVIEWER
Cool, cool. So what else have you been doing here?
SAMI ZAYN
It’s been a great day, me and my friends sat through The Walking Dead panel which was super-fun, I saw some of the stuff Zack Snyder showed, the Marvel exhibit was great as well but it’s just good to take time off your schedule once in a while and relax, this does relax me as busy as it is.
INTERVIEWER
Well, we’re glad you have all enjoyed yourselves today but it’s clear you won’t have much time to relax over the weekend; with the EBWF pay-per-view Sacrifice this Sunday, right here in San Diego in the Viejas Arena…your opponent is?
SAMI ZAYN
Justin Gabriel is my opponent, the match should be fun, we fought last week on Warfare and that was a great match, back and forth action and the fans seemed to be into it so that feels good. It should be a great match as always; hopefully better for me this time…plus it’s to decide who will fight for the Intercontinental Championship as well so there’s a lot on the line this time round, and I can’t think of a better place than San Diego to do it, although nobody here recognises me, hopefully that’ll change if I win on Sunday. But yeah; not much time to relax but at the same time we can’t put too much pressure on ourselves, I certainly won’t I can’t speak for Justin but I am heading to San Jose tomorrow and I’ve got tickets for the UFC event so I’ll enjoy that before travelling back to San Diego, getting some last minute preparation in and trying to do as much as I can to put me a step further than Justin Gabriel.
INTERVIEWER
Nice, have a good night at the UFC event too. Well for all the wrestling fans out there listening, they know you and Justin Gabriel aren’t two guys that see eye to eye, even though you have this mutual respect…there is still a little bit of tension between you two, what causes that?
SAMI ZAYN
Again, I can’t speak for Justin so I don’t know. Me personally, I just want to prove that I am one of the greatest superstars on this planet, certainly one of the best wrestlers but you’re right there is a mutual respect. Everyone who knows me, knows that I will never disrespect anyone that has worked to get where they are, of course trash talking is part of the job, we have to promote the matches as well, but there’s a reason there’s mutual respect with guys like Justin Gabriel and certainly other independent talents as well and that’s because we know the hardship, we know what it’s really like as a wrestler trying to make it through the ranks. Can you really say the same for the top talent? Of course there are a handful of stars at the top that have earned it, guys like Punk and stuff. But there are a few who have had a fast-track ride to the top, and that’s cool, they make the money but it’s why there is respect between smaller guys like me and Justin, we’re not the biggest but we are the best I can vouch for him there, I need to prove I’m that much better on Sunday by defeating him so tune in on Sunday to find out what goes down!
INTERVIEWER
It’s clear that there is the respect, obviously this won’t be a mainstream interview so can you tell us the true feelings towards Justin?
SAMI ZAYN
You’re just trying to get me in trouble here ha-ha, no I mean, Justin is a great person, he’s a pioneer to up and coming stars because his style is just so unique, it’s fresh, it’s dangerous and in this business if you are dangerous then you deserve to be successful. Now my character on screen is always frustrated, he wants to be the man at the top and quite frankly I can’t think of anyone better, he brings his best to the table, of course it’s frustrating to see someone fall down the ladder when you know what they’re capable of, but what can we do? I don’t cry about it and Paul certainly won’t, it’s what we do best, get back up, dust ourselves off and go out there and make sure the next performance tops the last. Look, the respect is there, he is looked up to for inspiration, he’s a great guy and I could sit here all day and sing his praises, but if I really did that and people heard it, how many will actually watch and think it’s tense battle? These back and forth words need to be said, Rami Sebei says Justin Gabriel is an incredible superstar and friend, Sami Zayn says he can’t settle for anything less, he’s better than Justin in every department…and as much as the fans love us both we hate each other as well ha-ha.
INTERVIEWER
Final question before you head inside Sami, let’s get back into character than ha-ha; how do you see the match going at Sacrifice and if you were to win, who would you like to face?
SAMI ZAYN
I don’t mind, The Miz or Syxx; it’s not easy either way but with The Miz it’s weird as I am used to loudmouths so whichever way it goes I am determined to give it my all. Ummm…I see two determined superstars going at it in the ring, stealing the show, sending the fans home happy. And then kicking Justin Gabriel in the skull with the Helluva Kick and walk out of the building as the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship, thanks guys.
Sami Zayn walked towards the doors as they opened and the EBWF panel was scheduled to begin. Sami took a seat on the fourth row, avoiding the first as he didn’t want to be seen by some of the superstars and other members of the company who were on the panel. Around fifteen minutes into it Sami Zayn sat up a little as he heard his name being mentioned a number of times, the panel laughing at it and suggesting that Gabriel is a clear favourite to walk out as the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. It’s clear to Sami that hardly anyone has recognised him and probably won’t, even with a clear view of the Sacrifice poster on the stage. He contains himself a little to hear what else they have to say, continuing to disregard him to focus on the main event talent, as the panel ask for more questions Sami Zayn stand up from the fourth row.
SAMI ZAYN
Yeah…I got a question, over here.
The microphone is passed to Sami Zayn as all eyes are now glued on him as he thinks about how he wants to respond to all the criticism, but he wanted to see just how long he could go without anyone recognising him.
SAMI ZAYN
Yeah, I was just wondering you were talking about how Justin Gabriel was going to defeat Sami Zayn, I mean that’s a bold statement to make isn’t it?
PANEL
Well sir we weren’t saying Justin WILL win, nothing is for certain but we’re looking at realistic possibilities, Sami is a great talent but he’s not the one, he’s not someone who has the look that the fans like and he isn’t on the levels of the top tier talent, this is why we’re here, we want to hear your thoughts, who you fans think should be at the top and to us it doesn’t seem like Sami Zayn isn’t that man but I’m positive the match itself will be a good one to watch, so do tune in.
SAMI ZAYN
I see, well what happens if Sami Zayn actually goes out there, steals the show and walks out as winner?
PANEL
Well…it will be a surprise for sure, it’ll be good for his career but it’s probably the most he can achieve, look at the bigger picture.
SAMI ZAYN
Oh I am…I am looking at the bigger picture. I mean, I’m always there and to me it sounds like the fans want Sami Zayn, and I’d say he’s better than Justin Gabriel and he will win, but I was just wondering why you don’t push the man to the top? It’s clear the talent is there but you people don’t do anything about it.
PANEL
What are you accusing us of sir? What are you trying to say?
SAMI ZAYN
What I’m trying to say is that the company needs to take a step back and look at the talent on offer, sure Gabriel and Zayn will be a great match especially since their match last week was great…but this company is unfair.
Sami Zayn walked past the people on his row as security tried to stop him but he didn’t pose a big threat, he walked towards the stage and up the steps on to the panel, staring at everyone there with a sad look on his face, upset how nobody even bothered to acknowledge who he is, or even recognised him, time to use it to his advantage.
SAMI ZAYN
Sorry to interrupt you all, and I’m sorry if I am wasting your guys’ time here who paid to get here. Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Rami Sebei…I’m not sure but some of you may know me as Sami Zayn…EBWF Superstar who WILL be in action this Sunday at Sacrifice against Justin Gabriel. THIS is the problem here, I didn’t come here to pick a fight, in fact I was on my way back to the hotel but because I love this company so much I thought I’d pay a visit and boy what a decision it was, this is how you treat everyone behind their backs is it? I’m not going to waste your time for much longer, this Sunday when I beat your beloved Justin Gabriel I suggest you revaluate the way you view your talent, because this isn’t the best I am going to achieve in EBWF, just because I don’t have the looks or the charisma or even Gabriel’s charm doesn’t mean I’m not good, I am better in every single department. One day I’ll be back here San Diego, right here in this room, and I won’t be standing here as a hopeful Intercontinental Champion, I’ll be standing here with the World Title over my shoulder looking at you jackasses and it will be me laughing at all of you. It starts this Sunday, I want this panel of ‘experts’ here to watch the event, because when I get the three count over Justin you’d realise you were all wrong all along, never doubt me.
Sami dropped the microphone on the stage after interrupting the panel, he picked up his bag pack and threw it over both shoulders as he continued to walk out, slamming the door open as fans looked at him as the door slammed shut, obviously frustrated at the situation that he just can’t seem to catch a break and no matter how many wins he picks up, however good he looks in the ring, he is refused to be thought of as a genuine threat. It’s time to turn it all around on Sunday.

Saturday 26 July, SAP Center in San Jose California is playing host to UFC on Fox and the event has already seen some great fights take place, as we heard at the eventful Comic Con event, Sami Zayn is here watching and before the main event one of the interviewers approaches Sami to catch a quick word with him to promote the Sacrifice event which takes place the next night.
INTERVIEWER
Ladies and gentlemen, here tonight watching this incredible night of fighting is EBWF Superstar Sami Zayn!…Sami, just one question before we kick off the main event; Sacrifice is the next event by the EBWF, some brilliant matches have been announced and you take on Justin Gabriel…what are your thoughts on the match with so much at stake and who knows at this time tomorrow you could be the number one contender?
SAMI ZAYN
Yeah it’s a great night so far, but right now as much as I’m enjoying these guys knock each other out the only person on my mind is Justin Gabriel, as much as I want to take him out he keeps popping up and it’s not his mind games, it only proves that I am focused on the target, I am focused on getting into that ring with Justin, I am focused on defeating him and I am focused on walking out as the number one contender, it’s that simple.
INTERVIEWER
Well it’s good to see you focused, perhaps the two of you could settle your differences in this octagon one day ha-ha.
SAMI ZAYN
Ha-ha who knows, I think it’d be the same outcome anyway, I’m focused on beating Justin Gabriel inside the wrestling ring, if he does decide he can’t do much more and decides to go all MMA on us, I’m pretty sure the outcome would be the same.
INTERVIEWER
Thank you Sami, back to you guys.
That was the end of Sami’s time off, finishing off watching the event before heading off to the hotel and heading back to San Diego for the Sacrifice event, this time tomorrow he will be inside the ring with Justin Gabriel in a highly anticipated clash; where the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship will be determined.

It’s finally here, Sunday 27 July at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California is playing host to the annual Sacrifice pay-per-view. The night is already started and Sami Zayn is walking backstage, lingering around the gorilla position waiting for his moment to go out. Finally Worlds Apart blasts the PA system and the fans erupt in cheers, waiting for Sami to appear on stage and within seconds he does, clapping and nodding his head to the music as the fans do the exact same. He is all smiles with a determined look on his face as he walks up the steel steps and into the ring, still clapping before picking up a microphone and waiting for his music to stop, eventually it does and Sami smiles as fans are chanting his name throughout the packed out arena; clearly he’s enjoying it.
SAMI ZAYN
San Diego! How is everyone doing tonight? Judging by the sound and the fact that I can barely hear myself, you guys are enjoying yourself! As you should be, because we’re finally here. Tonight is the night, for almost a week this excitement has been getting the better of me and tonight I finish it off and do what I was signed up to do, win. It’s what I try to do best. In just a short while I want to be walking up that ramp with a smile on my face as the announcers declare me the number one contender, it’s not just that, I don’t think I could take another loss to Justin Gabriel after I lost to him almost two weeks ago. I am sure you’ve all felt it, perhaps when you were kids, at gym class when you know you’re better than the rest of the kids and there’s that one annoying kid who just has to show you up, even though he’s not as good as you…it’s kind of what I am dealing with tonight with Justin, and deep down he knows I am better. It’s not about me taking a shot at Justin, he’s good, I am just motivating myself to be that much better because I feel he’s lost track, he’s lost sight of the bigger picture, to be the best, not the most popular.
I think…me and Justin are 90% similar, style, ability to adapt, but we’re still on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Yeah, we’re both trying to fight to be at the top, I am here fighting every single week to be the number one star in the company and hold the gold, I think Justin is someone who just wants his name in the spotlight, he wants the million followers, he wants the women, and he wants that lifestyle. Not me, I’ve said it time and time again that one day that will be the reason Justin can’t reach the levels we all know he can reach, tonight I can’t look out for him and help him as a friend, tonight I have to take advantage of every slip up and defeat him. You’ve had that feeling of being at the top in the EBWF Justin, you know what it feels like, but you STILL slipped up and fell down that ladder, I NEED that feeling, it’s like a drug to me and when I am at that level I won’t be slipping up because I am here to stay, for good. I’m going to make a lasting impact, unlike Justin has because he lost sight. I’m not underestimating him at all, he’s beaten me before but not this time, and things will be different around here now. Last time you told me to adapt, this time I am telling YOU to adapt Justin because this is a different Sami Zayn you’re facing, one who won’t feel any remorse when he sees you crawling up that ramp in a short while. You can bash on about how many times you’ve captured gold, how you dominated tag team divisions, I am not CM Punk or John Cena but I am an equally big threat, your achievements don’t matter to me as much as I know you don’t give a damn where I have competed and the number of gold I have won, but this one you will. This time this is the only gold you will remember of mine because when I get past Syxx or Miz to lift the gold, you’ll realise Sami Zayn defeated you to get to it, and that won’t put a smile on your face, in fact you’ll probably hate me more.
Justin, if you were being yourself rather than trying to be this massive star you think you are, perhaps I’d have a lot more respect, I do respect you, but not as much as I did all those years ago. Things have changed, YOU have changed. Here, this is what has changed you.
Sami exits the ring and takes a phone from one of the fans on the front row, they share a quick word and Sami jumps over the barricade and takes a seat in his chair as fans cheer him on, he takes the microphone and begins to speak.
SAMI ZAYN
Let’s take a look…here. Twitter, taking over the world one character at a time. I don’t use this, I mean I have an account and all but I don’t live and breathe on this app, look this is a common problem, we have some big stars with huge matches and we’re seeing flirting, we’re seeing talks of cupcakes and you get the drift, Justin just focus on what’s in front of you, your phone isn’t going anywhere, nobody will hack into your account, those countless women will still be there wanting to get with this South African sensation. Tonight I am the one putting it all on the line, willing to do anything to watch your lifeless body roll out of this ring when I knock you out, I’m going to do whatever it takes to get past you, because it’s up to me that you’re not the future of this company, because it will be me.
Sami jumps over the barricade again and gets into the ring, walking around for a second, scratching his forehead before finishing off what he has to say.
SAMI ZAYN
We’re not big guys, but we have the ability to be the best. As always I want the best Justin Gabriel, the most focused Justin Gabriel, the one that will put it all on the line and not be afraid to risk and lose it all. Beating a less than focused Justin will mean jack to me, it won’t even count as a victory…but it’s not just you is it…Syxx…The Miz; I’ll be watching your match very carefully and I suggest you two do the same, because I will be meeting one of you in this very ring very soon, and spend your final cherished moments with the gold because I only need one chance, and I am not wasting that opportunity I have worked so hard for, I will be…Intercontinental Champion...
Now that’s out of the way, let’s throw the script to one side for a second, it’s what I have been told to say to you all…some of it true, others…have been fed to me. Justin Gabriel, you know the respect I hold for you, you know the talent I have and I sure as hell know what you have on offer, you showed it in our last match. Before anyone comes out here asking me what the hell I am saying, I want to say good luck, because if I cannot capture that Intercontinental Championship, there I no way in hell I want to see Syxx or The Miz carry that gold, so get down here and let’s do this tango one more time…Justin, it’s time…time to steal the show.
Sami Zayn dropped the microphone as his music played again, waiting for Justin Gabriel so they can kick off their match, the fans chanted Zayn’s name as he looked at the stage, his eyes not moving anywhere as he waited in anticipation for Justin Gabriel, fans cheered as they realised not everything he said was out of anger for Justin, but part of the script and the rest, his true feelings towards this match, one thing was for certain; it was going to go down as a classic.[/center]
