We'll Give Rated RKO Something to Do!
Daniel Rodimer: That's what I'm talking about! [Rodimer gave Sandow a high five as the two men walked towards their locker room area.] Just have to take care of what you can take care of!
Damien Sandow: Yeah! I got to give you credit man, you did a heck of a job getting me off of the trip I was on. Blaming everyone in the company for my recent misfortunes and what not. That was all you man! [Sandow took a couple deep breaths.] Can you feel it Dan? The atmosphere, the aura around us. Things are moving in the right direction for B & B!
.:: Indeed they were. Sandow was coming off his exciting victory over Tyler Breeze to retain his Breakout Championship and things were looking up. Sandow had a big smile on his face and that smile was only about to get bigger. The second biggest Pay per View on the EBWF calendar was about to come up and Sandow and Rodimer were excited about the opportunities they may get. Would Sandow be defending his Breakout Championship? Would Rodimer be getting a shot at another singles title? Or would Brains and Brawn get the chance to do what they had wanted to do since teaming up? Get their opportunity to compete against the tag team champions as the number one contenders. Whatever the case, they were going to be going in to Summerslam with a lot of momentum. Sandow and Rodimer were in the final hallway before getting to their locker room when they ran in to a group of EBWF interviewers who were having a conversation backstage. As Sandow walked by the group Renee Young spoke up. ::.
Renee Young: Good luck at Sacrifice boys. You're going to need it!
.:: Sandow, surprised that he was getting talked to by anyone in that group abruptly stopped walking. He looked over at the group, specifically Renee, in silence. Renee Young stood with a sarcastic smile on her face for a couple of moments. ::.
Damien Sandow: Daniel, did you hear something?
Daniel Rodimer: I thought I heard someone trying to be cute, but surely they would know better!
Damien Sandow: Do you have something to say Renee?
Renee Young: I hope you...
Damien Sandow: Silence! There is literally no one here right now that cares what you have to say, Renee. [Sandow approached Renee and took a deep breath in.] New perfume Renee? No, no I know that smell you reek of. I am used to smelling it on every male superstar in any company I have ever wrestled in. The smell of jealousy.
Renee Young: Jealousy? What do I have to be jealous of?
Damien Sandow: The fact that someone who got in to wrestling to be a female wrestler has to settle to be a reporter, maybe? Doesn’t it ever get to you Renee that your life goal was to be a professional wrestler and you never accomplished that? Sure, you work for a professional wrestling company, but you are only an interviewer. Your dream was to walk out of those curtains and have thousands of people cheer for you. Yet the only cheering you hear from the crowd is when you get done introducing someone you are about to ask questions to. You will never hear a crowd chant your name. You will never hold any championships as a wrestler. [Sandow paused and smiled.] But hang in there kiddo, if they introduce a championship for best female interviewer you got a shot at that. Not because you are a great interviewer, but because there are only two of you here in EBWF at the moment. [Sandow paused again.] BUT Renee, if that is not the reason you are jealous maybe it is because of what happened last week. Michelle McCool, current Women’s Champion, out did you. Look at all she has on her plate these days. Wrestling matches against the best female wrestlers in the World. Also, staying as flawless as she is can’t be an easy process. She has to work her butt off at all times of the day to be as great as she is. She only makes it look easy. Trust me, it’s not easy. Even with all that on her plate she gave me the best interview of my career last week. Something you have had multiple chances at doing. Something you have failed multiple times at. Renee, bottom line is, you have a lot to be jealous of. It may be easier to list the things you shouldn’t be jealous or upset about right now in your life. [Sandow pauses.] But I digress…
Todd Grisham: Hey now Damien, that isn’t necessary. Get out of here!
Damien Sandow: Todd Grisham? You are the ignoramus that is going to stand up and try to be the hero? Of all of the tough guys here in this group you are going to be the one? [Sandow paused and stroked his beard.] You know what? Okay fine, you got me Todd. Renee, I will give you a chance to redeem yourself. You said we are going to need luck in our match at Sacrifice. Explain yourself!
Renee Young: All I was saying is that you are going to need luck to have any chance against Rated RKO! They have been tag team champions for over a year and are the most talented tag team this company has ever seen! Even with luck you guys don’t really stand a chance!
Daniel Rodimer: [Looking at Sandow.] I got this Damien! [Rodimer turned his attention to Renee.] And to think when I first started my wrestling career here I was thinking about giving you a chance to get with the Real Deal. I was wondering why it never happened. But now I know exactly what it didn’t. You don’t deserve the chance to even tie the shoes of Daniel Rodimer, let alone lay in the same bed feeling the best pleasure of your life! You don’t even belong in the same building as me Renee. I am a World class professional wrestler. You are nothing but a piece of eye candy that talks to World class hoping one day to touch it. You’re cute Renee. But you are far from flawless. And me? I am not just a man. I am THE man!
Damien Sandow: Yes you are Daniel. The man! The Brawn in B & B! You Renee are such a nitwit! What gives you to impression that we will need any amount of luck to beat Rated RKO? The fact that they are the tag team champions? Do you know what part of being a champion is Renee? No, of course you don’t! Part of being a champion is defending your championship. Giving other deserving people a chance at the title that you hold. Those jackrabbits have hardly defending their titles against anyone. What is the point of being a champion if you are afraid to defend said championship? That is like being the smartest man on the Earth but never giving back or trying to help less fortunate people. You see Renee; one of the differences between Rated RKO and Brains & Brawn is the fact that we accept all comers. Any time you want a shot at us all you have to do is come find us and let us know. We will show up and give you what you want. Just like at Sacrifice when we show up and give Rated RKO what they want. “Something to do.”
.:: Sandow and Rodimer looked had serious looks on their face as they continued to walk by the group of interviewers to their locker room. The camera turned from their backs and focused on Renee who was trying to act as if what Sandow and Rodimer just said hadn’t affected her. She was doing a poor job of that. ::.

.:: Trees lined the sidewalks and the sun was shining down on the camera creating a glowing glare. Through the glare you could make out two figures in the distance standing in front of a big building. Before the camera could get closer to the individuals Damien Sandow was heard. Sandow was wearing a red and black shirt with the letters “SDSU” on them and had on a pair of jeans. Daniel Rodimer was standing next to Sandow. Rodimer was wearing a sleeveless shirt, revealing his arms, and a pair of athletic shorts. ::.
Damien Sandow: Alas! Welcome to San Diego State University. We are just across town from where Sacrifice will be taking place later tonight. We are standing here in front of the library on the SDSU campus where we will be going inside to learn a thing or two about our opponents in tonight’s match. Follow Daniel and myself and we will show you the way!
.:: Sandow and Rodimer turned and walked in to the library. As the camera entered there was a creepy silence. Every once in a while a student could be heard laughing or talking with someone about something they were learning about. After a few moments, and a couple stairs, Sandow and Rodimer got to their destination. They were inside of a computer lab that was full of students. In the corner of the lab were two computers that were not being used. Sandow and Rodimer went to those computers and began to type on them. ::.
Damien Sandow: First, let’s do some research on Randy Orton shall we? [Sandow typed Orton’s name in Google.] Ah, very interesting information here I see. [Sandow continued reading.] Oh that is fascinating. [Sandow kept reading.] Just so I don’t keep you folks in the dark anymore, there is a very nice website here with great information about Randy Orton. It talks about how his love life has become more important to him than his wrestling career. When I first read that I didn’t think it was fair, but then there were facts displayed. His Twitter account talking about nothing but his relationship. The fact that he is absent from a lot of shows because he is probably spending time with his lady instead of focusing on his wrestling career. [Sandow paused.] That last one sounds like a person opinion to me but I am going to let it go this time.
Daniel Rodimer: Damien, what are you talking about? Randy Orton is a two time King of the Ring winner and a multiple time World Champion. There is nothing he has done recently that proves anything that you just said. If anything he has become stronger and better in the past couple of months.
Damien Sandow: Alright Daniel! You got me again! I made all of that stuff up that I just mentioned. None of those things are facts. But from where I sit it is a pretty strong opinion I hold. Daniel, you and I work our butts off seven days a week for this business. We do all we can to improve ourselves and our skills in the ring so we can represent this company like it deserves to be representing. I think that is shown by the fact that I am the Breakout Champion, and we have a shot at these tag titles tonight…
.:: At that time an adult in the lab approached Sandow and Rodimer. He very nicely explained that because of all of their talking that they would have to leave the lab so the students there could continue their work without distraction. ::.
Damien Sandow: Silence is wanted? To you I say, SILENCE! I didn’t want to be in here anyway. Who needs a computer lab when you have the works of Shakespeare memorized. None of this is necessary. I just thought it would be nice to show the unwashed mass that they have a proper leader.
Daniel Rodimer: Damien, I don’t feel comfortable here anyway. Let’s ditch this place and go back to where we belong.
.:: Sandow got up angrily from his chair and stomped out of the computer lab. Now him and Rodimer were in a room full of tables and students reading doing school work. Sandow walked over to a table and wiped all the books off the table. He then stood up on the table and yelled. ::.
Damien Sandow: May I have your attention?! My name is Damien Sandow, and I have something I need to get off my chest! [The room was silent.] Tonight my tag team partner and I have a match against the current EBWF Tag Team Champions for their championships. All I have heard since the match has been made is how we are underdogs and we are going to need a lot of luck to defeat them. Why? Because Randy Orton has won the King of the Ring tournament two years in a row? That is nothing but singles accomplishments. There is no evidence that Rated RKO is a better tag team than Brains and Brawn! For example, at this very moment I am here in a library. I am in a place of learning. I am trying to better myself, and my partner, for our upcoming match. Randy Orton and Edge would never be seen at a library. Why? Not only because neither of them know how to read, but because it probably isn’t cool enough for them! No, Randy Orton and Edge are probably out at a bar somewhere showing off their tattoos and talking about how great they are! [Sandow got more angry.] Great? When was the last time they even defended their championships? In my humbled opinion, in order to consider yourself great you have to display greatness. Rated RKO has not done that recently. [Sandow looked at the camera.] Orton, Edge, last week was only the beginning for you guys. Later tonight Daniel and I are going to shock the unwashed masses, and the World, when we defeat you guys to become the new Tag Team Champions!
Daniel Rodimer: Orton, you have had a great singles career. But what Sandow and I are bringing with us tonight is something called team work. We have not been able to display it very much, but you will soon realize that you have not faced the likes of a tag team like us. You and Edge can waste all your time trying to be funny and act like you are too cool for us. Please keep underestimating us. I beg you. Because once we defeat you for your tag team championships, you won’t be the one doing the begging. It will be your lady, begging me to accept her on my arm, and save her from the loser that used to mean something in EBWF.
Damien Sandow: What my partner said is absolutely correct! Orton and Edge you guys think you are so entertaining. Well your form of entertainment makes me sick! What happened to the days of sitting back and enjoying a nice play? Enjoying a man reading a poem to a crowd? To you, entertainment is going out and getting jacked up on liquid courage. Going out and causing problems for other people. I guess that is what you have to do though whenever you become bored of not having any competition. I suppose that is what you have to do whenever you are just looking for something to do. Well I will tell you what. Tonight, Daniel Rodimer and I will put on the play of the century. The masses Worldwide will sit back and enjoy the greatest play production ever played out. Of course it starts with the most talented cast in professional wrestling, Brains and Brawn. The play will start when the bell rings and we begin to decimate what once was a feared tag team. There is just one thing that bothers me. [Sandow paused.] The best part of a play is the anticipation that builds up through the acts. The anticipation that leads up to the surprise ending with twists and turns. On this night however, there will be no surprise ending. There will be no twists and turns. Except maybe Daniel twisting your head’s off. [Sandow and Rodimer laughed.] No, in all seriousness there will be no surprise ending. Because I am going to ruin the ending for everyone right here right now.
.:: Rodimer stepped up on to the table with Sandow and exclaimed. ::.
Daniel Rodimer: Your winners, and NEW EBWF Tag Team Champions… BRAINS AND BRAWN!
Damien Sandow: Welcome to entertainment! YOU ARE ALL WELCOME!!
.:: Sandow and Rodimer smiled at each other and got off the table as the students in the library began to clap in approval. Before the camera went black you saw a few library security guards approaching Sandow and Rodimer. You then saw Sandow and Rodimer run in the opposite direction away from the security. ::.
.:: END ::.
