Summerslam is the biggest summer event of the year for the EBWF. Just like any other year it’s going to be a Summer Blockbuster with some high profile matches, one of those high profile matches will pit Eva Marie and Sasha Banks against someone they have started a little bit of a rivalry with in the likes of Paige in AJ Lee better known as Valkyrie versus the newest tandem in the women’s tag team scene Emma and Alexa Bliss.

AJ Lee and Paige are currently on the set of a syndicated talk show in New Mexico which is the home of Summerslam. The two girls or just a couple of the stars on a whirlwind tour of last minute promoting before the official event Sunday.

Even though it’s a media tour the two girls are staying true to themselves by dressing casual but yet still professional enough that most people wouldn’t be surprised.


Producer: Are you ready to go on?

AJ nods and mouths to Paige not to mention anything about the whole Dolph Ziggler situation on tv. Paige responds back with a nod knowing that this is a work related gig to promote Summerslam and the both of them need to be the ultimate professionals right now at this moment. As the girls make their way out the producer hands both of them a mic to attach to their attire.

Host: Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m Jackie Miller and today we have a special treat for our viewing audience. We got two of the EBWF’s top female athletes and challengers for the Divas Tag Team Championships at the Summer blockbuster Summerslam Sunday night.

AJ Lee and Paige make their way into the view after the camera after the introduction. Jackie stands up and while shaking their hands motions for them to have a seat on the couch.

Jackie Miller: So Ladies in case any in our audiences doesn’t know tell us what got you into the wrestling industry.

Paige: I will go first. I started wrestling at the age of thirteen but guess you could say I really got started before that as my first bump taken was while my mother Saraya Knight a famous professional wrestler in the UK was still pregnant with me. But my first match as I alluded to didn’t happen till I was thirteen a person no showed for my parents promotions and they had me fill in and from there the rest is history. Now here I am every week on EBWF television showcasing to the world why I’m the best British female wrestler ever. Sorry Mom, it’s the truth.

AJ Lee: For me it’s not that extravagant I first got into wrestling due to my brothers childhood obsession over wrestling. The journey getting to EBWF wasn’t as easy for me as it may have been for Paige. But you look at the reason she takes the industry seriously is because she was raised in it and it helped her parents put food on their table for many years and you look at why I take it seriously is a completely different reason. I had to work several jobs to pay for wrestling school all while supporting my family and trying to attend college for film but ultimately dropped out to fully pursue a career in the wrestling industry and here I am right now after some time off from the EBWF trying to get my career back on track at the second biggest pay-per-view in EBWF Summerslam.

Jackie Miller: You both have a big tag team match coming up. For those that don’t follow EBWF to regularly can you get us up to speed?

Paige: First off, you should be watching EBWF. You’re missing out on some awesome stuff like myself and AJ putting on some show stealing matches with Sasha Banks and Eva Marie. It’s no secret we don’t like them but to say those girls can’t go in the ring would be completely asinine and if you don’t believe us go watch matches we had together. Women’s tag team wrestling is on the rise and it’s about to get even better during Summerslam in the Three-Way which will also feature Emma and Alexa Bliss. Sure, we’re going to win but the fans are going to watch one bad ass match in the process.

AJ Lee: Paige is right we have been turning up the volume in the women’s tag team division. We’re putting on great matches that have been getting great feedback. I know this going to be another great match. I don’t like the two of them but after proving they can hang with us in the ring they have at least earned our respect and that I can tell you isn’t something that is easy to do by any means. I will give you an example of someone who hasn’t earned my respect and that is Brie Bella.

Paige: Don’t think for one moment though as awkward as they may be that Emma and Alexa Bliss can’t come through in the ring. Alexa can throw all the Sailor Moon and Crime fighting references around she wants but Jackie, Summerslam won’t be any place for Heroes. The Villains, The Anti-Heroes, and the vicious are going to reign supreme. No, I am not talking about The Mean Girls minus Lindsay Lohan.

AJ Lee: Paige is right in this business you can’t take anyone lightly we did that once against Sasha and Eva and it backfired biting us in the ass. We learned from that and we’re not going to take Sasha and Eva lightly tonight and we aren’t going to take the unorthodox tandem of Alexa Bliss and Emma lightly because they just might surprise us.

Jackie Miller: Both of you seem to be focused on the match. What kind of preparations do you take to get ready for matches like this?

AJ Lee: just hitting the weights, sparring, and watching tapes of our opponents. At least that is what myself and Paige do to get ready. I got shoeboxes full of tapes of everyone in the EBWF Divas Division. Ok, maybe not tapes but dvd’s of all the shows they were on in terms of pay per views and on Warfares well I got EBWF network for only $9.99……. That was a joke by the way.

Paige: So you’re telling me we can watch all of the EBWF pay-per-views including Summerslam in which we win the Divas Tag Team Championships from Sasha and Eva for only $9.99?

Paige has to struggle to keep from laughing at AJ’s joke.

You’re so lying right now, AJ! We don’t have an EBWF network but in all seriousness. Jackie, as we’re sitting here on this stage we can promise you the mood in the EBWF Divas Locker room is about the change.

Jackie Miller: Thanks to the both of you for coming on our morning show. Would like to wish both of you luck this Sunday.


The girls nod and stands up off the couch give the camera on last smile before shaking Jackie’s hand as the morning show shifts to advertisements from their sponsors.


Summerslam is just hour from kicking and AJ is just sulking in the backstage area on with the crates the stagehands store stuff in when they are done. AJ is still reeling from the things Dolph said to her Monday and she just can’t shake the things he said. She keeps replaying the moment over in her head wondering if it was something she said or done but she really can’t recall anything out of the ordinary. Maybe she thinks it was the fact that she was always being his shadow and he finally snapped and got tired of it.


AJ Lee: What did I do wrong this time?


If people saw AJ talking to herself right now they would probably think she was crazier than they already do which right now she probably wouldn’t argue with them as she tries to figure out what she did to make Dolph so mad at her even though she knows she shouldn’t be worrying about that as her and Paige have a tag team match coming up in a few hours.

AJ Lee: I really don’t need to be thinking about this right now. I need to be focusing on making sure that that my head is 100% in the game unlike Monday where I was completely way out in left field. I need to just continue doing what it is I do and that’s show up and show out in every match that I have and prove to Dolph Ziggler I can still make it.

AJ sighs knowing that the words come out of her mouth aren’t exactly reflecting what she is feeling but the old adage is that the show must always go on and this really isn’t any different of a scenario. She got told off on live tv and now she’s got to figure out how to pick up the pieces so that the show can go on for her and Paige as they compete to win the tag titles.


AJ Lee: If Dolph Ziggler wanted to see me break he’s not going to get his chance. Tonight, I’m going to make sure someone feels my pain in that ring. It doesn’t matter who it is as I promise that someone is going to get locked in the Black Widow tonight. Dolph, wanted to do things on his own well I wish him the best of luck but right now the clock is ticking ever closer to Valkyrie finding success in the EBWF as a tag team tandem. We’re finally on the same wave length and it’s time to show the world what we are capable of when we set our minds to something. Unfortunately.


One of the stage hands motions to his wrist letting AJ know she should probably go get ready Summerslam will be getting ready to start soon and it’s going to get crazy back here meaning she would probably be safe and sound in the cover of the divas locker room.
