Fanniversary

Post by Benjamin »

OOC: Time just ran out on me again, I apologize. Furthermore my website was unceremoniously deleted so I have nothing to post this on. Not my day. :lol

Jerry Lawler: It's over! Another victory for Syxx!

<font color=As the referee called for the bell, Symphony entered the ring and pushed past the referee, raising Syxx's arm in victory. Syxx and Symphony celebrated over the fallen Jay Briscoe as Warfare went off the air.

Jim Ross: Well that's it for tonight, but be sure to tune in for Fanniversary this Sunday! Thank you and good night!

It was Monday, October 20th and Syxx had just defeated Jay Briscoe in the main event of Warfare. Syxx leaned up against the ropes, one leg higher than the other and both straps of his singlet down as he proudly lifts his nWo 2 sweet hand guesture into the air. The cameras zoomed in to capture his beauty shot as Warfare went off the air. Syxx's theme song "F.E." by 40 Below Summer continued to blast throughout the area as he made his rounds around the ringside area shaking hands, taking pictures, and signing autographs for fans. Symphony was closely in tow. Syxx was all smiles, drinking in the moment. He was not unfamiliar to headlining Monday Night Warfare, but every time felt just as sweet if not more so than the last. He walked all the way up the ramp on his right hand side interacting with every fan only to go back and hit everyone on the left when he was finished. Who would have thought the "X-Pac sucks!" chants would eventually give way to the "Syxx Syxx Syxx"'s all these years later. When Syxx and Symphony finally made their way through the curtain, Syxx pulled Symphony in tight for a long hug.

Symphony: That was awesome!

Syxx: Thank you.

Symphony: You were so great. I can't believe you won over the Brooklyn crowd like that! Look out world, Syxx is headed to the very top!

Syxx: Lets not get carried away here, one match at a time.

Symphony looked overjoyed, as if she was very proud of what her ex-boyfriend and current business associate had just accomplished. Symphony withdrew from Syxx, still keeping her hands on his elbows when an unfamiliar EBWF agent came up from behind the two of them to interupt the moment.

Agent: Great match Sean.

Syxx: And you are?

Agent: I work here, you remember me right? I helped map out your match for tonight.

Syxx: Oh right, you were the guy who sat there, drank coffee, and pretended to know what the hell Jay and I were talking about.

Agent: Right. So, we've got you booked for Fanniversary. You are going to be working Sami Zayn and Ted DiBiase Jr. in a triple threat match.

Syxx: That feels kind of random.

Agent: Have you been following the product?

Syxx: If it doesn't cocern me...no.

Agent: It concerns you. Plus you have a radio interview with 93.3 WMMR in Philly. You are going to need to make an appearance at our Susan G. Komen event as well. I hope this is alright with you.

Syxx: Why wouldn't it be alright with me?

Agent: How do I say this? I have heard that your people skills are, um...lacking.

Syxx: Did you hear that crowd?

Agent: Winning over a live wrestling crowd and interacting with fans one on one are apples to oranges.

Syxx: Really? Tell me more about all those times you have won over wrestling crowds.

Agent: You see this is the kind of stuff they warned me about.

Syxx: Don't get your panties in a bunch, I will do all your shit.

Agent: Great, well, we will catch up later.

******

It was Saturday, October 25. Syxx was in studio live with radio host Jacky Bam-Bam. He is a grungy looking man who handles the weekend duty for one of the more popular rock stations in the Philadelphia area. Syxx is sitting across from the host wearing a black bandana, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and his Susan G. Komen "F(6)ck Cancer" shirt.

Jacky Bam-Bam: Alright, finally the part of the show you have all been waiting for. With me in studio right now we have got EBWF Intercontinental champion Syxx. Syxx, how the hell have you been man?

Syxx: I have got zero complaints, how about yourself?

Jacky Bam-Bam: Good, good. So as we all know the EBWF will be in town tomorrow night for Fanniversary, can you tell us a little bit about the show?

Syxx: Fanniversary is a celebration of the anniversary of our company. I believe it is 13 years old. Feels like it was just yesterday.

Jacky Bam-Bam: If I understand correctly you are one of the few guys on the current roster who were actually there on the very first day in 2001.

Syxx: Yeah I was in between runs with WWE. DX had finally kicked the bucket so I figured I would head for greener pastures. Kind of crazy that I end up back there on and off for so long.

Jacky Bam-Bam: The crazy thing is that you would then leave EBWF to be a part of WWE's nWo, only to reform the nWo in the EBWF in 2006 on the 10 year anniversary of it's conception.

Syxx: I think there was a little poetic justice with both my WWE nWo run and especially my run with the EBWF. Hulk Hogan went out on live television after I got fired from WCW, via Fed Ex while I was injured mind you, and told me I couldn't "cut the mustard". In 2002 I ended up replacing Hogan in the nWo after he went all goody goody and then in 2006 when Nash and Hall showed back up in the EBWF saying they were going to reform the nWo they said they had a third member. Everyone thought the third member was going to be Hulk Hogan, it turned out it was me.

Jacky Bam-Bam: You sure did have one hell of a run with the nWo, over the course of 11 years and with three companies.

Syxx: Four, if you count "The Band" in TNA.

Jacky Bam-Bam: Right, right. I almost forgot about TNA.

Syxx: Who hasn't?

Jacky Bam-Bam: Haha. All this reminiscing, is that kind of the theme of this Fanniversary pay per view...to look back at all the good times over the past 13 years?

Syxx: It may be the theme of this pay per view, but for me personally I am trying very hard to remain focused on the future and not the past.

Jacky Bam-Bam: I hate to be "that guy", but there is concern around the internet that this may very well be your "last hurrah" in the wrestling world. Is there maybe any truth to that?

Syxx: That's funny because I just wrote an entry in my blog on EBWF.net to dispell that crazy rumor. Is my run in the EBWF my last one with a major wrestling company? Maybe. Probably. Who knows? But really, who says it has to end anytime soon? I may be 42 years old but I look good, I feel great, I can still hang in the ring with all the young guys. Sami Zayn and Ted DiBiase Jr. better hope that they can keep up with me.

Jacky Bam-Bam: So is there any chance you may ever end back up in WWE?

Syxx: You booked this interview through EBWF management and all you want to do is talk about other companies now? I know he is going to hate me for saying this but Vince called me sometime last year trying to hire me and promising me all kinds of shit. WWE was trying to raid the EBWF's talent because we had been kicking their ass. You never say never in this business but I'm not sure I see a scenario where I end back up with them.

Jacky Bam-Bam: So tell me something...well, you don't have to. Just let me know if this is too personal for you. Are you and Symphony dating again, or is it strictly business?

Syxx: It is strictly business. People will believe what they will but that's all it is.

Jacky Bam-Bam: Is it in any way awkward being escorted to the ring night-in and night-out by your ex-girlfriend? That has got to be a little weird, right?

Syxx: It was at first, but we got over it. I think the tension between us kind of showed up on air and that is something that has troubled me my entire career, you know, my personal life playing out on television. I want to be over all that, finally. Alicia and I have actually grown to be pretty good friends again. A few months on the road and we kind of forgot why we were fighting.

Jacky Bam-Bam: Right, cool. Well you got Ted DiBiase Jr. and Sami Zayn at Fanniversary, any thoughts on your upcoming match?

Syxx: I have got lots of thoughts, but if you want to hear them you are going to have to tune into the EBWF.net pre-show for Fanniversary.

Jacky Bam-Bam: I see what you did there. Syxx, it has been a pleasure having you. Best of luck tomorrow brother.

Syxx: Luck doesn't exist, and if it did it would be for people who suck.

**The scene fades.**
