Unfortunately for The Rock and the millions and millions of his fans Christmas Eve of Destruction had come and gone, and The Great One did NOT become the new EBWF World Champion losing to reigning champion Solomon Crowe. One thing remained clear, that this was no ordinary show and go for The Rock. It wasn't a publicity stunt for the EBWF to get flash in the pan ratings. The Rock was back and back for the long haul despite his age Dwayne Johnson was in the best shape of his life. This coming Monday, The Rock's age wouldn't be a factor as he was facing a man who was in the same age bracket, in Syxx. One thing was for sure, Rock would not be in a great mood going into Warfare.

The scene opened up at a House Show in Denver, Colorado, the site of EBWF Warfare this coming Monday Night. A match had just wrapped up in the ring, when backstage appeared on the torn. Renee Young stood microphone in hand.


Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time.. The Rock.

The crowd erupted as The Rock appeared into the scene. He wore black and white track pants and an "I Bring It" black sleeveless t-shirt. He wore sunglasses and he stood still, as if he was awaiting Rene's first question.

Renee Young: Rock I..

The Rock held a hand up to Renee which caused her to stop short on her sentence.

The Rock: Renee.. you don't have to say anything. You don't, not right now, all The Rock needs you to do is sh.. and listen.. because they are chanting his name..

The crowd obliged with a deafening "Rocky" Chant" The Rock stayed stone faced. As Renee cracked a small smile.

The Rock: You see Renee, The Rock win lose or draw has something that not everyone has. Renee The Rock knows that whether he left Christmas Eve of Destruction the new EBWF Champion or whether he didn't, The Rock knew that the next night he'd show up. He'd show up, head held high, chin up, because though it wasn't a great day on Christmas Eve like The Rock anticipated.. it is STILL ALWAYS a great day when The Rock can say... FINALLLLLLLLLY THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO DENVER!

The crowd cheered loudly.

The Rock: It's always a good day when The Rock can say that, always a good day to know that win or lose, The Rock STILL has literally millions..

Crowd: AND MILLIONS

The Rock: Of fans who believe in The Rock, millions of fans that LOVE The Rock, millions of fans supporting The Rock. Did The Rock win on Christmas Eve? No, he didn't, Solomon Crowe pinned The Rock 1.. 2.. 3. The Rock is a man, he'll admit when he's been beaten, The Rock is a man, he'll admit when he was outdone. The Rock is a man.. one thing The Rock is not.. is a coward. The Rock doesn't run, he doesn't cower. The Rock has experienced the thrill of victory, he's tasted defeat, but the one thing that The Rock has never done... is QUIT.

The crowd cheered.

The Rock: You see The Rock has done it allll in his life. He's wrestled, he's fought, he's made movies, sang songs, but the fact of the matter is this without a shadow of a doubt The Rock is full tilt in EVERYTHING he does. The Rock brings it, day in day out, The Rock brings it. Whether he's in the ring, on the microphone, in line at Chipotle, roller blading in the park, watching football on TV, The Rock BRINGS it. After all the years, all the matches, all the blood, all the sweat, all the tears. The Rock still comes at his opponents the same way that he always has. The Rock has NOT dropped off, if anything The Rock has gotten... better.

The crowd cheered again.

Renee Young: Well Rock, many say that after your loss to Solomon Crowe, that maybe you in fact have lost a step.

The Rock turned his head to Renee Young. At first he looked completely serious and intense. After a couple of beats The Rock cracked a smile.

The Rock: The Rock's lost a step huh? Is that what you think?

Renee Young: Well I didn..

The Rock: Ah na na na, The Rock's lost a step that's what people are saying? Well let The Rock tell you something Renee. There is no way.... AND THE ROCK MEANS.. NO WAY

The crowd echo'd "no way" as The Rock said it.

The Rock: That the Rock isn't still the same guy everyone remembers. So The Rock lost to Solomon Crowe so what, it happens. As the saying goes, you are only as good as your last match. Which brings The Rock to Monday. You see Renee, on Monday The Rock will have a chance to silence the critics. The Rock will have a chance to quiet the naysayers. Monday Night The Rock will go one on one.. with Syxx.

A mixed reaction was heard. The fans loved Syxx, but going against The Rock it was tough to get universal love.

The Rock: You see Renee, The Rock heard what Syxx had to say. The Rock saw Syxx come out in front of all the Rock's fans and cry like a baby.

The Rock mocked Syxx in a whiny voice.

The Rock: The Rock was handed everything he has. His grandpa was a wrestler, his father was a wrestler. He didn't have to work for anything. I cleaned rings, I handed out water, I ate pork chops out of the trash that had maggots all over them. The Rock is tall, The Rock is dark, The Rock is handsome. I'm short, smelly, don't bathe, it's way easier to make it when you live in a house with shampoo and soap. wah wah wah.. oh shut your mouth you pot smoking, greasy haired, punk bitch.

The crowd cheered.

The Rock: You see Syxx, The Rock is tired of your passive aggressive load of monkey crap whining that you feed to The Rock's fans week in and week out. You sit here and you tell all The Rock's fans how you don't blame The Rock, for how easy it's been for him. You tell The Rock's fans that it's not The Rock's fault. Let The Rock tell you something jabroni, the road to the top for The Rock has been ANYTHING but easy. You see as you said Syxx, The Rock has risen to a level in this business, in this life, that far surpasses anything you have reached yourself. In fact The Rock can "reach" a lot of things that you can't reach.

The Rock did a couple of fake jumps at something that was too high for him to get. The crowd laughed and cheered.

The Rock: And I know you think The Rock woke up one day, and got all the success he's had just given to him, but this couldn't be further from the case. The Rock has sacrificed, in the ring, in the weight room, running, lifting, grinding. 3:30 AM The Rock is up he's working, he's pushing, he's moving towards a goal. That goal was to be the very BEST that this business has ever seen. It was a goal The Rock set many years ago, it was a goal that The Rock has achieved.. but it wasn't enough NO no no no NO! It's never enough, because The Rock doesn't want to be someone who WAS the best, The Rock wants to be someone who IS the best. The most important part of all this Syxx, is that The Rock EARNED every thing that he's ever gotten. You can claim you haven't reached the same success, because you're selfless. You can claim it's because of your size, or your weight, your friends, your drug habits, but the real reason why you haven't reached a level of success that you can be proud of in this business.. quite frankly.. is because YOU ABSOLUTELY SUCK!

The crowd cheered loud once more. The Rock looked to Rene again who seemed a little hesitant, but hopped back in.

Renee Young: Well Rock, Syxx actually has defied all odds in this business. He's beaten countless guys much bigger and stronger than him.

The Rock took a step back again and looked at Rene in disbelief.

The Rock: Look at you hunny.. are you trying to upset The Rock?

Renee turned red.

Renee Young: Well no I j..

The Rock: No no.. usually if a woman talks to The Rock like you are, she at least gets a dinner out of the People's Champ first. You really are trying to stir the pot here aren't you?

Renee Young : I'm just doing my jo...

The Rock: Go on Renee, The Rock likes it, The Rock hears ya.. go on and stir the pot... calm down Syxx.. not that pot.

The Rock started pantomiming stirring into an imaginary pot.

The Rock: Go ON RENEE! Stir the pot for The Rock.

Renee started to mimic The Rock's arm motion.

The Rock: Yeah there you go Rene! Get into it. Give The Rock an "oh yeah" as you stir that pot.

Rene uncomfortably went with it.

Renee Young: Oh yeah.

The Rock: No no.. The Rock's gotta feel it.. you wanna stir the pot. You gotta make The Rock believe!!

Rene then got into it as if a lightning bolt had struck her.

Renee Young: OHHHHH YEAHHH

The Rock backed up a step.

The Rock: WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!

The crowd laughed, and Rene who had gotten way to into it, stopped extremely embarrassed.

The Rock: Rene it looks like you want to do a little more right now than just stir the pot, it looks to The Rock like you want to hold his... spoon.

The crowd laughed more, Rene blushed out of control.

Renee Young: Well I..

The Rock: The Rock can't blame ya. The Rock can't blame ya. No need to be embarrassed, but let The Rock tell you something Rene. No matter what you say about Syxx. No matter what you say about how he's overcome the odds. All his career Syxx has faced guys bigger, stronger, more interesting, cleaner, guys who've had more money, guys who've had more dates, guys who could eat an entire small pizza all by themselves. Guys who were BETTER than him in every way. Has Syxx won some matches, yes he's won some matches. Has he made a name for himself? Yes in fact he's made several for himself, 1-2-3 kid, X-Pac, Sean Waltman, Syxx, Syxx Pac, Dopey, Sneezy, Grumpy, Doc.. it doesn't matter what he calls himself! Because though he may have you fooled Rene. Though he may even have some of The Rock's fans fooled into thinking he's something special. You can put a bow tie on a piece of crap Rene, and at the end of the day it's still a steaming stinking piece of crap.. and that is EXACTLY.. what Syxx is and has ALWAYS been.

The crowd cheered loudly and one more "Rocky" chant broke out.

The Rock: You see Renee, The Rock is a warrior. You can knock The Rock down, but you can't keep him down. Did The Rock lose on Christmas Eve, ya damn right he did, but The People's Champ The Rock on Monday Night right here in Denver, is going to do EXACTLY what he does best, and thats take his right hand, WHACK, right across Syxx unwashed face, then The Rock is going to take his left hand SMACK right across Syxx unshaven mug. Then The Rock is going to take his right boot, BAM, lay it right into Syxx's 12 year old boy bony frame, and finally The Rock is going to take his left boot.. and WAAAA---BAMMM stick it straight up SYXX's CANDY ASS! The Rock will not stay down, The Rock will not be held back, and The Rock will not be stopped from kicking Syxx's monkey ass all over Denver, Colorado.

The crowd erupted. The Rock looked at Renee then back out at the crowd.

The Rock: So despite what Syxx may say about The Rock's past, that The Rock had advantages, The Rock had things handed to him. Despite the fact that Syxx claims to be the SELFLESS one.. The Rock is going to flip the script on him. You see The ROCK is going to be the selfless one on Monday Night. Yeah, you see The Rock is going to show Syxx what it's like to have things.. HANDED.. to him.

The Rock paused as the anticipation builds up.

The Rock: Because... simply put.. The Rock is going to HAND Syxx the ASS WHOOPIN OF A LIFETIME! The Rock is going to beat Syxx to within an inch of his pathetic life.. and pin his little horse jockey sized rinky dink ass to the mat.. ONE... TWO...THREE... FOUR... FIVE.... SYXX.

The Rock cocked an eye brow and exploded out of the scene leaving Renee Young there dazed, having not gotten much of a word in edge wise. The scene faded.
