Wednesday December 24th 2014 – Christmas Eve of Destruction – Sprint Center – Kansas City; Missouri

Kansas was playing host to the annual Christmas Eve of Destruction event and the fans in attendance and those that purchased the pay-per-view were treated to a bloody evening, witnessing an electrified cage, a match where the fans brought the weapons and a Taipei Death Glass Tables Match between the reigning, defending EBWF World Champion Solomon Crowe and The People’s Champion, The Rock. Opinions were divided on Solomon Crowe, he did the unthinkable when he dethroned John Cena to become the new champion and it was thought that he would be out of his depth in a brutal match against the experienced Rock. But Crowe proved the world and his doubters wrong once more, this match was made for Solomon Crowe and even before the referee called for the bell, Solomon was at an advantage. Solomon Crowe would only have been satisfied with the match if blood was dripping from his face, blinding him so he was forced to wipe it away with his glass-covered hands. But regardless of the amount of blood that was spilt, it didn’t matter. What mattered was Solomon Crowe sending The Rock crashing through a glass table and he did so in emphatic style; using the Rock Bottom to successfully defend his championship. After the match as Christy Hemme announced Crowe as the winner, the sadistic champion looked down at The Rock’s lifeless body as it lay on the shattered glass beneath his body, before snatching his championship title from the referee’s grasp and placing it over his shoulder as he looked down at his blood-covered hands and pulled out some shards of glass stuck between his knuckles. He then looked into the camera and raised his title above his head and soaked in the negativity and the satisfaction of beating somebody the fans adored. He looked down at Dwayne once again before smirking and laughing to himself, shaking his head and then leaving the ring as a video package hyping up the main event then aired on the titan-tron. Crowe continued to walk up the ramp with a smug look on his face before disappearing through the curtain and into the backstage area. As the video package finished, the cameras were backstage as we were with the nervous-looking Renee Young who had the champion by her side.

RENEE YOUNG
Ladies…ladies and gentlemen…my guest at this time is…current EBWF World Champion…Solomon Crowe.

SOLOMON CROWE
I can…I can sense the tension Renee, I can smell the disappointment because if we are telling the truth even YOU expected that right now you would be standing here with the so-called Great One and talking to him about his emphatic victory over Solomon Crowe. Well…as you can see by the championship title over my shoulder your interview with The Rock will not be going ahead, not here anyway. But based on what happened inside that ring I am positive the doctors will deem him healthy enough to give you an interview at the side of his hospital bed. The blood you can see on my face, on my hands, the pieces of glass you’re looking at an cringing which is stuck in my fists, this is not a sign of pain, Miss Young; this is a sign of victory. I told the world I would take this championship from John Cena and what did I get? Laughs at my face, constant reminders that Solomon Crowe is just not good enough, of course to some I am still JUST Solomon Crowe, well JUST Solomon Crowe is your champion and will be for a very, very long time. After John Cena, everyone said Solomon Crowe cannot defeat The Rock; but he did that too. But it will not stop there will it? Oh no because everyone backstage and in that locker room is a doubter, is confident right until they step inside that ring, standing opposite of me and looking into my eyes and then they take a big gulp, realising what a huge mistake it was when they stepped up to the plate and even though I shout the warnings from the rooftops, nobody seems to heed them so it is only a matter of time before some other poor soul thinks he has what it takes, thinks he knows what he’s doing and will try to take this championship from my grasps but that will never…ever happen. So my question to you Miss Young, my question to the world…is everybody taking me seriously now?

RENEE YOUNG
Um…before you leave Mr. Crowe…earlier on we saw a new Path to Glory Champion crowned in the form of Dean Ambrose, your thoughts?

Crowe stared at Renee as she finished asking her question before looking towards his shoulder at his blood-covered World Championship title; and the looking back up at Renee. The fans started to cheer as they remembered who the new Path to Glory Champion actually is, and a small grin grew on Solomon Crowe’s face as he too realised that the fans were excited to hopefully or eventually see the two psychopaths clash inside an EBWF ring. His smile finally disappeared before speaking.

SOLOMON CROWE
Miss Young, I am your EBWF World Champion, and I am here to stay.

Crowe walked away as Renee Young breathed a sigh of relief as Crowe was now out of shot. The hardcore wrestling fans were looking forward to an eventual clash between Solomon Crowe and Dean Ambrose, especially since Dean Ambrose dropped hints that he was going to go for the EBWF World Championship at the Royal Rumble and after successfully retaining the gold against The Rock; Ambrose and Crowe were set for collision course at the first pay-per-view of the new year and the build-up to a potential clash would certainly be entertaining considering the history between the two men.

Sunday 28th December 2014 – The Crowe’s Nest – Anonymous Location

The scene opened up with same usual setting in The Crowe’s Nest, the room was dark with flashes from the monitors reflecting on to the walls and a camera which was recording the scene was placed on a table. It picked up a swivelling chair and it was clear Solomon Crowe was sat on it, facing away from the camera, clearly occupied elsewhere. He continued to do whatever he was doing before finally talking to the camera whilst still looking away.

SOLOMON CROWE
This year, Christmas was quite a painful one…perfect. Nobody enjoys a boring Christmas, who actually wants to sit at home with family and friends and pull on your crackers and put on a forced smile and pretend you are enjoying yourself. I think my Christmas was fantastic, I had a very big smile on my face, a real smile. I think I have been a good man this year, this year I was a giving man because I gave the EBWF Universe the freedom they so desperately needed whether they knew it or not. I freed them from John Cena and I have freed them from The Rock. You are never too old to receive a gift at Christmas but only if you have been good, I have been very good and this year Santa finally paid a visit to The Crowe’s Nest. He paid a visit and he approved of me and he gave me the best possible gifts somebody like me could have ever asked for. He gave me The Rock, he gave me Dwayne Johnson, this big superstar the world adores and he allowed me to smash his body through a table of glass and then I got my second gift…these.

Crowe turned to the camera to reveal his face bleeding, he had a pair of tweezers in his hands with blood covering his hands as he slowly took out the little shards of glass still left in him from the match which were proving to be a nuisance. He looked into a mirror whilst facing the camera and continued to talk.

SOLOMON CROWE
In all honesty I would have been very disappointed if I walked out of the match with no scars, because scars show toughness, that you have been through it all…and you are still standing. A lot of superstars will try to take me down, but I will come through like I always do and I will always stand straight with my championship around my waist. But, I think now that the chapters are almost closed with the undisputed faces of the EBWF now resting peacefully in their beds at home, we look forward. These scars will slowly heal in a matter of days, but the way I am envisioning the next month or so, I cannot help but feel a certain someone will have pleasure in opening up these and a lot more scars. Santa, you certainly are spoiling me.

He smirked into the camera for a brief moment before continuing to focus on the pieces of glass. He teased the viewers who would watch the video on the EBWF website by hinting at a possible showdown with Dean Ambrose, whether the two would clash any time soon remains to be seen.

Tuesday 30th December 2014 – EBWF House Show – American Bank Center – Corpus Christi; Texas

The EBWF were in Corpus Christi in Texas for a house show just days after the Christmas Eve of Destruction event where Solomon Crowe retained his EBWF World Championship in a brutal match against The Rock. The fans in attendance were in for a rare treat as the arena darkened and the few thousand fans in attendance erupted in boos as Space Dementia by Muse hit the PA system and the World Champion, Solomon Crowe appeared on the stage. Donning new gear and dropping his wilder look, Crowe had an angry look on his face as he walked down the ramp and ignored the thousands of boo’s and didn’t let it affect him, nothing would change the fact that the World Championship was hooked around his waist. He grabbed a microphone and felt the marks on his face from the damage he suffered a few days ago as the fans pointed and laughed at him for looking weaker than usual.

SOLOMON CROWE
Go ahead, keep pointing and keep laughing because these marks and scars on my face and my hands and my back are nothing compared to what Dwayne Johnson is treating right now, THESE are the scars of victors and the only one here that has the right to be laughing is ME! Laughing at all of YOU because you have all been too stupid to realize that Solomon Crowe is the man you all need to bow down to, but you continue to refuse, why? I should be laughing at you because even though you hate it, I am still standing in the middle of this ring as the EBWF World Champion and I will let all of you in on a tiny, little secret…I have no intentions of dropping my championship any time soon so I think you imbeciles need to get used to the idea of having Solomon Crowe as your king. It just…it just irritates me…when will all of you and the rest of the absent-minded locker room actually take Solomon Crowe as a serious threat to you and the system you all love so much. Now, I love nothing more than proving every single one of you wrong time and time again, truly, that is satisfying in itself but there were the question marks over John Cena…the undisputed face of the EBWF, the poster-boy, the man who just cannot lose or drop the gold…was beaten just like that. But no, oh no that was a fluke, Solomon Crowe could not just walk in and defeat John Cena, anyone could do that with a bit of luck so why not put The Great One in front of him instead, yeah, let us see how that one unfolds. Where are your ‘Rocky’ chants? I cannot hear the millions and millions and I certainly don’t think we’ll smell anything Dwayne Johnson will be cooking for a long, long time. And now…we move on.

The fans in attendance then started to cheer as a little smile grew on his face, knowing that the fans were cheering for Dean Ambrose and it was something Sam Johnston as a person was nervous for, excited but still nervous about how this would all play out into a successful feud with someone so popular in the wrestling industry, but he kept himself composed and then walked around the ring to keep fans on edge about what he was going to say as the cheers grew louder.

SOLOMON CROWE
THAT…that is what I am talking about. You already know I am hinting at moving on to bigger things, to better things, to bloodier and more dangerous things…to crazier things with a certain psychopath who’s name and the thought of him makes me sick! He and I are cut from the exact same cloth but why is it that he is seen as a hero and Solomon Crowe, YOUR champion is seen as a the virus in this company when in fact I am here to take the viruses out, two of them, the biggest I have seen have been disposed of but now…now we have a virus the system seems to like and keep around; something which is possibly out of my control but I am not one to back down from a challenge. This man I am talking about is not good for this business, he is not good for me, for you people, he was never good for his own, twisted little family and he is not good for this business. This man is now a man who is holding the Path to Glory Championship which means this man is now a threat to me, and anybody who is a threat to me will be taken care of in a manner in which only I can show. The EBWF have decided that this problem needs to be taken care of before it can grow to become an even bigger nuisance than it already is so they have decided that on Monday Night Warfare next week, I will get the chance to step inside of the ring with him and end this problem once and for all.

The fans continued to boo Crowe as he subtly announced that on Warfare he will be taking on Dean Ambrose and he will not hold back.

SOLOMON CROWE
Next Monday I urge each and every single one of you to find a television set and tune in to Warfare because that is exactly what will be going down, war. My opponent may be the Path to Glory Champion but his path is not leading to any form of glory, his path is leading to destruction and his life will be turned upside down.

Crowe dropped the microphone as he exited the ring to a chorus of boos, with the match set for next week against Dean Ambrose, fans knew this would be something they wouldn’t want to miss. Crowe had an angry look on his face as he scowled at the fans towards the front of the barricade before showing off a constant reminder that he’s sticking around, lifting the EBWF World Championship in the air on the stage before disappearing through the curtain to allow the rest of the evening to continue.

Tuesday 6th January 2015 – The Crowe’s Nest – Anonymous Location

The scene opened up in The Crowe’s Nest, a familiar setting for the EBWF Universe as they knew this was what Solomon Crowe the character called home and this is where he could be found, if they could find him. Monday Night Warfare had now passed us by where the highly anticipated match between Dean Ambrose and Solomon Crowe didn’t even get underway as the two men came to more than blows, with Solomon Crowe getting the better of the exchange, he hit the Headlock Driver on Ambrose as he went crashing through the announcer’s desk but Crowe refused any medical help whilst the EMT’s took a look at Ambrose. The carnage probably wouldn’t end there, as on the same night Dean Ambrose made it clear that he’s cashing in his Path to Glory Championship at the Royal Rumble event, and a huge contract signing has been announced for Monday Night Warfare next week; and there’s no way that was going to go smoothly.

The camera was then turned towards Solomon Crowe who was sat on his chair in typical movie-villain fashion, but instead of a cat he had his championship title resting on his lap and it was clear for all to see. The events that unfolded less than 24 hours ago clearly had some effect on the World Champion as his left hand was bandaged up and he did his best to cover it up. A smile emerged on Solomon Crowe’s face as he was in deep thought about something, perhaps thinking of all the ways he could cause pain to Dean Ambrose and after finishing off a conversation inside his head, he started to ramble to the camera.

SOLOMON CROWE
Well last night was fun…retaliation from Dean Ambrose backfired on him and I drove his head straight through the announcer’s desk, you should have seen JR’s face. Now, I have known Dean Ambrose for a very, very long time…longer than I care to remember but thing I knew he would do, is retaliate. He has done it all of his life and last night he did the exact same thing; his crazy, messed-up mind could not take the fact that I was dropping some home truths about him and about me always being better and that self-doubt resulted in an angry man running down that ring…and then limping out. You know something Dean, in relationships or friendships there is always one who admits he has not changed, refusing to believe it but my friend, I have changed. I have changed into something you wished you could be and now you cannot handle the fact that our past is being brought up to build up our match at the Royal Rumble, YOU cannot handle that Solomon Crowe has actually become something and is no longer in Ambrose’ shadow any longer, the roles have reversed and now you wish you could be me. The fact is Dean, you cannot be me and you never will, you will never be known as the World Champion for as long as I am around and you need to somehow get that through your thick skull, and if my words are not enough then I have no problem heading into the Royal Rumble and driving your head through anything I can find and who knows, maybe, just maybe THEN you will realise that you made a horrible mistake coming after me. The outcome will be the same as last night, it will be me standing tall and walking out on my own two feet whilst you will need all the help you can get as doctors personally check you into a mental institute, exactly where you belong. Then again…this IS Dean Ambrose we are talking about, he would end up checking himself out and setting the place on fire like only he can, that crazy son of a bitch. I would not even be surprised to see Dean running back for more once I defeat him, right after our war ends and the dust settles thirty other fools will play a little game where they will try and throw each other over the top rope until only one is left and then he and I will meet at WrestleMania. But, who could that be? I am positive there are a number of spots available for the likes of Dean Ambrose and John Cena to enter if they think they stand a chance of surviving another round with me. But who do we have? Nobody on this roster will be able to get past me anyway which is why the EBWF are deciding to bring the big dogs out and let them have the best chance of trying to snatch this championship away from me. Chris Jericho decides to come out number thirty in the hope of standing the best chance when an eventual clash between myself and Christopher takes place, he might have taken a certain somebody out of a job because of me but trust me if he dares to step in this ring with me he will have no career left either. Lance Storm, even though the man has an eye for talent I can assure you that holding Trent’s hand in this match is the worst thing you can do, you want your protégé to succeed? You want your protégé to be the number one man in this company? For his own sake, I hope you tell him that second place isn’t so bad either. Then we have the big man himself, entering this match Mr. Ikeda; at the end of the day you sign my cheque so I will sit here and say I admire you and I hope you win. I mean, imagine ending the boss in the main event of WrestleMania? Now THAT is something I like the sound of.

He laughed to himself as he couldn’t wait for the Royal Rumble match, but first he had to get through Dean Ambrose in what was probably his toughest test to date, going up against someone who knows him better than anyone.

SOLOMON CROWE
But before I can crush the hopes of the Royal Rumble winner I need to end Dean Ambrose, I think whatever unfolded last night was the best thing that could have happened, why spoil it? Why not save it for the Royal Rumble when the real fun begins, last night Dean Ambrose may have managed to somehow walk out but he made a big mistake announcing his intentions to cash in his Path to Glory Championship, you have wasted your opportunity, I can assure you that at the Royal Rumble I WILL get the job done once and for all. Before that, in two weeks you and I will meet inside of the Warfare ring and Dean, do not repeat the same mistake by trying to lay your hands on me, I want you to come to the ring with your head down, you sign our contract and you turn around and walk away like a contender, not a champion. Viewers, Dean, I hope you enjoy this ride to the Royal Rumble because I am only just getting started.

Crowe smiled into the camera before quickly standing up and switching the camera off. The contract signing segment for two weeks had now been announced where Dean Ambrose and Solomon Crowe would meet one final time before their World Championship match at the Royal Rumble with Crowe warning Ambrose and the fans that he’s now only just getting started.

Tuesday 20th January 2015 – The Crowe’s Nest – Anonymous Location

A week had passed since the last edition of The Crowe’s Nest where Solomon Crowe promised that the fun was only just beginning, and that was displayed 24 hours ago on Monday Night Warfare. Dean Ambrose took it upon himself to take the mind games to a new level when he paid a little visit to The Crowe’s Nest, unfortunately for him Solomon Crowe was already a step ahead and during their contract signing it was revealed that Crowe had taken Ambrose out and there were doubts to the Royal Rumble match even going ahead. Crowe sat with the contract a proud, confident man who signed the contract with Ambrose’s blood.

The scene opened up at The Crowe’s Nest, with Solomon Crowe sat at the table twiddling his thumbs, viewers could see his EBWF World Championship laying on the table whilst there was also a ‘wet floor’ sign on the floor behind him. He looked down on to the table in deep thought as he shuffled his championship title around, thinking of what to say. But he was never one to stay quiet for too long and moments later he started to talk.

SOLOMON CROWE
What is friendship? I have been asking myself that every morning when I wake up, ever since I finally ran into Dean Ambrose again. I have known Dean Ambrose for a very, very long time. We broke into the wrestling industry together, partners, friends, brothers. I can be the first to tell you that NOBODY was happier than I was when he signed with the EBWF but the thing with Dean is that he forgot where he came from, he forgot what made him and most importantly, he forgot me. He thought and still thinks that he got to where he is all by himself, he thinks the reason he is on top of the world is because of his own actions, no…that is not true. Dean Ambrose is where he is because of me and deep down, Dean knows that. So I ask again, what is friendship? A friend is someone that brings out the best in you, someone who stands with you through thick and thin, friendship is one mind in two bodies…a friend is a gift you give to yourself. I am man enough to admit I have made mistakes in my life and one of the biggest mistakes I have made is deciding that Dean Ambrose was not only a friend, but a brother. A brother who can stab me in the back and smile while he is doing it. But Dean if there is anything I ever learnt from your sadistic little ways, is that I too can laugh while my brother is going through pain. You have managed to bring out the best in me Dean, because of you and your failures and your crazy little mind I finally managed to one-up you and I am sitting here as the champion you so want to beat but know you just cannot do it. We have the exact same mind-set but people will not believe that, you see people see me as a Dean Ambrose wannabe, someone who followed in Dean’s footsteps and copied every single step and when I finally caught a break I just winged it, no. Dean and I are the same, we both feed on pain, and chaos and we are both as sick, sadistic and twisted as each other. The only different is that your champion knows how to control it and when to bring out that side. Dean Ambrose, he is always crazy. That is his mistake, for a match like this you need the right amount of crazy, something I will provide at the Royal Rumble.

Solomon Crowe took a brief look behind him at the wet floor sign, something he was also being distracted by on the camera and then reshuffled his chair to the sign wasn’t visible anymore, knowing the viewers watching on the EBWF website would also be distracted and it was the perfect way for him to talk about his actions from the previous night.

SOLOMON CROWE
I am sure you all are wondering what went down here in The Crowe’s Nest yesterday and you probably want an explanation for my actions. I am not going to apologise, I am not going to show any remorse for what happened because Dean Ambrose did not accept my invitation to The Crowe’s Nest where I hoped we could sit down like men and talk our differences out, but what was I thinking? Dean Ambrose is not civilised, instead he decided to welcome himself into my home and tried to damage most of my equipment I worked so hard to pay for. This sign behind me is not because of the water that was spilt, but the blood that was leaking from his face when I finished with him. I left him lying here a twisted mess and right now I do not know myself whether a championship match will even go ahead at the Royal Rumble, but I certainly hope it does because I do not think Dean Ambrose has learnt his lesson fully yet, he has come in too far and even he knows it is too late to drop out from this, he will now suffer the same fate as The Rock and John Cena and it is up to me to make sure his punishment is far, far worse than anything you have ever seen from me. Who knows where Dean Ambrose is right now? Probably a hospital, probably waking up in one of the gutters near his home and it shows, he will not be missed by anyone, least of all me. Everything I said and did inside of that ring yesterday was me asserting my dominance on somebody who has failed to capitalise on the little success he had, yes, he got here before I did and I can guarantee you that he NEVER thought Solomon Crowe would ever make it to the EBWF, and now that I am here he has a point to prove, that he was the toughest out of the friends, out of the brothers but sadly that will not happen and he will continue to be the stupid failure he has been since the day he decided to do something with his pathetic life and became a professional wrestler. Last night on Warfare, Dean Ambrose got what was coming to him it was inevitable, with his attitude and lifestyle he should man up and shake my hand, thank me that it was I who put a broken man back in his place, he should be happy a friend did it, and not somebody else because sooner or later somebody else would have got their hands around his little neck and squeezed the air right out of his lungs. Fortunately for the Dean Ambrose fans, I didn’t quite end it all there, I left some for this Sunday, something for you paying customers because I know you would all be disappointed with me simply standing inside of that ring and the referee gives Dean Ambrose until the count of ten to make it to the ring. So I personally dealt with the situation and the Dean Ambrose I know will never go down with a fight, whether he is wearing a neck brace or he is in a wheelchair, Dean Ambrose WILL be at the Royal Rumble! And if he does not turn up on Sunday then Solomon Crowe will not be a happy champion, I NEED Dean Ambrose at the Royal Rumble to put this to an end at last, finish this mess once and for all and Dean can go waking up in his own vomit in a different motel every week in a different state, you do not belong here Dean. You may have got here before I did old friend, but I am the man who now runs things, and my next order of business is to delete the virus that is Dean Ambrose…for good…after all…just one virus in a company…is one too many.

Crowe’s sadistic smile disappeared from his face as he stood up and punched the tables so the camera shook. He breathed heavily, determined to take down his ‘friend’ in front of the world and even though he attacked him like a coward from behind, he still knew Ambrose would turn up to the Royal Rumble ready for a fight, just how Crowe liked it.

Wednesday 21st January 2015 – AMC Theatre – Columbus; Ohio

The scene opened up at an unusual location, inside of a movie theatre inside of a dark screen with minimal lighting. The only thing that could be heard at first was the sound of crunching popcorn in the mouth, followed by a big slurp of a drink from a straw. Moments later shuffling could be heard and eventually the camera lens opened and sat there was the EBWF World Champion, Solomon Crowe. He breathed onto the lens and cleaned it with the sleeve of his shirt before placing it on his side away from the popcorn and his drink and cleaning his hands; now there was more light available and the champion was visible before he started to speak into the camera while maintaining focus on the big screen in front of him. It was clear Crowe was on the back row and he scouted the entire screen to highlight the fact that there was only one other couple in attendance. He placed the camera back next to him before throwing popcorn into his mouth as he finally decided to talk into the camera.

SOLOMON CROWE
I know what you are all thinking, this is a change. Well I thought I would treat the viewers for once, I am sure Dean Ambrose’s little visit to The Crowe’s Nest ruined that weekly experience for you so I had to take appropriate measures and exterminate the place, so it looks like today I had to utilise my time wisely and because I have a very big championship match on Sunday I need to practice and train for this crazy adventure, so I am watching a movie this evening. You do not need to think how I managed to get my camera into the screen, let your champion worry about that an all of the repercussions that will potentially follow. Now, tonight we are watching a great film, I hear The Academy loved it also but it just managed to miss the cut, so that aroused my curiosity and I thought why not see what all of the fuss has been about? What we are watching tonight, is a film called ‘Sam – based on a true story’, and I hear this is wonderfully edited, a wonderful cast I hear and everyone loves a good, true story, right? I hear it is emotional too, the story of a young boy who managed to overcome every obstacle in front of him. Shush…it’s starting.

The room went dark and the reel started to play the film Crowe was talking about, something nobody had ever heard of but judging by the huge smile on Crowe’s face you could tell he was up to something. He started to get comfortable as the loud noises from the film started and became more comfortable in his seat, the couple in attendance were confused, knowing that they paid for tickets to see ‘American Sniper’ but what they were watching was a horribly edited and unknown film and they didn’t hide their feelings towards it.

COUPLE
What is going on here? We didn’t pay to see this bullshit! Come on, let’s go.

Crowe’s huge smile disappeared as he saw the couple get up off of their seats and Crowe too sat up to see what was going on. He saw them picking up their coats and ready to leave and Crowe too got out of his seat quickly, dropping the popcorn and taking his drink with him as he quickly ran down the steps. The couple were frightened as Crowe quickly appeared behind them with a smile on his face. They looked a little worried as he approached them closer and were wary of their bangs and wallet, Crowe placed his drink down in the cup holder and wiped his hands on his pants before reaching his hand out to the male and forced a big smile on his face and had to pretend he was in a happy mood.

SOLOMON CROWE
Oh don’t worry I’m not going to be taking your bags. What I do hope to take are the next 90 minutes of your time. Pardon me, where are my manners, my name is Jonathan Moxley, I am a director which is why I am carrying this big camera around with me, you see this is my first feature film and you two are the first to come and see this film which I promise will be a huge hit in the near future, and I am making a documentary to see the reactions of the viewers so I please urge you to take a seat and watch this film, and hopefully at the end you may share your thoughts and opinions with me, what do you both say?

The couple both looked at one another in confusion as the film was about to start, and now it was clear that Crowe himself had gone behind and replaced the movie with his own and replaced it in the reel, before the couple could speak he stopped them, and pulled out a small remote from his jacket pocket and aimed it at the projector, somehow pausing the film to confuse the couple even more, before smiling back at them and awaiting their answer.

COUPLE
I…We…didn’t really pay to see this dude…we want to watch American Sniper, y’know? That new Bradley Cooper film where he…

SOLOMON CROWE
No…no…no you do not understand, you WANTED to watch American Sniper, you WANTED to watch Bradley Cooper…now you WANT to watch the story of Sam…did you not hear who I said I was, my name is Jonathan Moxley, I am a new up and coming director and one day you will be asking for my autograph so I suggest, you sit back in those seats…please.

Crowe then continued to force a smile on his face and it was clear that he was beginning to get agitated at the couple who continued to get freaked out.

COUPLE
Dude…you need to back off man, you heard me, we don’t want to watch this bullshit of yours…you’re crazy.

Crowe then looked down at the ground and scratched his head, beginning to mutter to himself as the couple tried to back off, Crowe then looked up and the smile completely disappeared.

SOLOMON CROWE
YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT I’M CRAZY YOU SON OF A BITCH! SIT DOWN AND WATCH THE FILM YOU UNAPPRECIATIVE PIECE OF SHIT!

Solomon Crowe then shoved the guy back into his seat who was clearly startled, and he followed it up by throwing a drink over the guys face and then kneeling down in front of them.

SOLOMON CROWE
Good…now that we have settled that, what you are about to see follows true…ish events. This is art, this will be seen for generations to come and the two of you are the very first to witness this historic event. Now…I am going to back to my seat up there, you can see it so that means I can see you, any movement and I will be forced to act appropriately, are we on the same page?

Crowe then smiled and stood up again and started to walk back but then the female spoke up, and Crowe turned around to hear what she had to say.

COUPLE
Um, sir…Mr. Moxley, what if one of us needs the bathroom?

Crowe tried to hold his laughter in as he continued to use a different alias before finally answering her question and pointing to the cup on the floor.

SOLOMON CROWE
You see that is why people like me and the rest of this world are so different, you people never think ahead, you are always focused on the right now but never on the future, there is a reason I threw the contents of that cup on to your boyfriend’s face, that cup is now empty; enjoy.

They sat back in fear and annoyance as an excited Crowe ran up the steps and skipped a few to sit back into his seat. He sat back down with a smile on his face and shuffled around in his seat to get comfortable once more before pressing play and the film resumed.

The first main scene of the film was in a school, kids looking around 9-10 years old were seen running around in the playground and in the corner sat a young boy who was the child the film was based on. Now Sam didn’t have many friends, he kept himself to himself and wasn’t a popular kid either. This particular day, the school bullies decided to have some fun and young Sam was the clear target, and so the bullying commenced, shoving him around, name-calling for their own amusement until another kid stepped in and stopped them, one by one he somehow knocked down the five bullies, single-handedly before reaching out to young Sam and helping him up. This kid was a year or two older than Sam, and decided to help him up.

The kid introduced himself as Jon, and told Sam that he won’t get bullied any longer because he’ll be sticking with him. Sam wasn’t going to turn down an opportunity like this, leave behind years of bullying and now actually have a friend, so he accepted this invitation and for the next few years he met Jon every single day to catch the bus to school, he ate with him, he visited him after school to play video games for a number of years as their friendship got closer and closer, almost like brothers. Sam grew close with Jon’s family, Sam simply didn’t fit in at home, his brothers and sisters were nothing like him, his mind set was similar to Jon and his own family, who weren’t perfect at all. They had their flaws, their problems, but Sam just seemed to fit in and saw more of Jon’s family over the years than he did his own.

Deep down Sam knew that as the time passed, the intelligent Jon would need to make a decision about his future and go to college. Sam knew he couldn’t be selfish, but luckily for him Jon wasn’t going to college, instead he was turning his focus to becoming a professional wrestler and much to annoyance of Sam’s family, he was going with Jon to become a professional wrestler in what was already a badly edited, heavily exaggerated home movie with terrible casting and acting, but the couple at the bottom put on a performance of their own by pretending to enjoy every second of it.

The two progressed as wrestlers, travelling across the country to various promotions once they could actually wrestle, sometimes they were a tag team whilst at other times they were singles superstars and they both achieved great success whether it was indeed as a team or in a faction or as singles superstars. The two used their own upbringings as material and based their characters off of what they say growing up, both acting as twisted, crazy superstars who would do anything to get what they want. Tag Team Championships, Television Championships, World Championships, blood being spilt, bones broken and their stock continued to rise. But deep down neither felt that the other was the reason for their success, but never admitted it to one another.

Their friendship for the next few years on various shows grew to be more distant, Sam was seeing his childhood friend become a phenomenon on the independent scene whilst he was still being referred to as Jon’s tag team partner. Until one day he finally found out that Jon was packing and leaving to go on to bigger and better things, and the worst part is, Jon couldn’t tell him to his face. He had to find out moments before his main event match that his childhood friend had left him, no goodbye, no good luck messages, no putting in a good word, nothing. Sam made a mistake, he used the anger from that to go to the ring and break the rules. He worked stiff on purpose, he didn’t talk so he was always dominant and did what he wanted, and then he hit a piledriver, breaking the neck of his opponent and taking a victory, out of anger.

He was suspended, he didn’t get any more independent bookings for months and on television he saw his childhood friend rise to new highs, with two new friends and then moving on to an even bigger stage in the EBWF. Sam finally got a booking, and he began to get more and more bookings with his same old persona of a twisted individual. After months of hard work and making his way back to the top as a singles superstar, he too finally, finally got the call and without hesitating, Sam accepted, he was going to the EBWF.

The movie showed a number of his matches which never even happened, before showing a mighty celebration of Sam becoming the World Champion. But then all the attention, turned to the ring where after this long, painful journey; Sam was standing opposite of Jon inside of the ring. The movie didn’t show the match, it concluded with Sam walking back up the ramp and the camera focusing on his face as he walked up the ramp, then on his face reflected lights, and sirens could be heard before the film went into slow motion for no reason whatsoever, and a couple of EMT’s ran down the ramp as something terrible had happened in the ring, they past Sam as he smiled into the camera to finally end the horrible, horrible film.

The camera finally turned back to Solomon Crowe, who was moved by his own film as tears rolled down his cheeks, and he blew his nose in dramatic fashion into a tissue paper and threw it on the floor as he continued to well up.

SOLOMON CROWE
That was…that was beautiful. You go Sam! You go get what is yours! You go out there and you rip Jon to pieces! You deserve it! Kill that evil, selfish son of a bitch! Go on Sam! We are all rooting for you!

He looked up, as a flashlight was beaming into his face and standing behind it was an attendant who was shocked by what he was seeing, a grown man crying at a film and behind him was the couple looking angry.

COUPLE
Him, that’s him! He threatened me and my wife and he threw his drink into my face!

ATTENDANT
Sir…you know very well that filming in a movie theatre is illegal, I’m afraid I’m going to have to confiscate that camera sir.

SOLOMON CROWE
No I…I am very emotional right now that was, a very touching film you put on for us, really, really good stuff, I will definitely be back, but I was not recording the film, I can promise you that.

ATTENDANT
Sir…we’ve checked the footage on our security cameras and we saw you change the film reels, so YOU put this…film…on and you threatened this couple, you have committed a long list of offences here tonight sir, I suggest we make this easier for us all, we can take a look at the footage on your camera and if you haven’t recorded the film then you’re free to go.

The attendant reached for the camera but Crowe slapped it away very quickly, he stood up and grabbed his camera and cradled it in his arms. Before looking down at the three standing in front of him.

SOLOMON CROWE
Do you know whose camera it is that you are touching? Do you know who you are talking to?

COUPLE
Yeah, that’s him, Jonathan Moxley the world-famous movie director!

SOLOMON CROWE
No you jackass, I am Solomon Crowe, I am the most feared man in the professional wrestling industry, the world champion.

ATTENDANT
Yeah…suuuuuuure you are sir…I think somebody has been drinking tonight, come on sir, let’s go.

Solomon Crowe tried to talk his way out of it all, and even the world champion of the EBWF wasn’t getting his way out of this one, hoping guilt trip would work he started to try and yap his way out of the situation.

SOLOMON CROWE
Okay, okay, I admit I made this wonderful film, this is loosely based on my life and how a certain man who befriended me used me as a catapult to move on to much bigger and better things, but did he give me the credit for it? No, he did not. He completely ignored me and he left me out in the cold so I had to make my own tough way up there and now this Sunday I will be ripping him to shreds and righting this wrong that happened in my life, but this time I will make sure that I am the one who leaves him out in the cold with absolutely nobody to turn to and nowhere to run, he will be lost, I need this more than anything.

ATTENDANT
Yeah…we’re going to have to ask you to come with us sir.

Crowe was confused as two guards came in and escorted him out of the room and his pleas didn’t help, even though he was telling the truth there was no getting away from it all. He still managed to eventually upload the whole segment on to the EBWF website for the fans to see what had happened to him in the build-up towards his huge match with Dean Ambrose on Sunday. The fans that knew them both were certainly excited for it, and Solomon Crowe was determined to make the fans turn on Dean Ambrose and make him look average, Crowe understood that in order to get to Ambrose, he would need to stoop to his level of crazy, something he had not done in years but was willing to go down to that level to get what he wanted, a broken Dean Ambrose left lying in pain and the EBWF Championship still around his waist, and only time will tell if any of those would actually happen.

Thursday 22nd January 2015 – Directions Psychiatrist – Columbus, Ohio

DR. JONES
Solomon…do you need me to rephrase the question?

The scene opened up inside a psychiatrist’s office, the sun was shining through the window with the blue skies clearly visible, and not a cloud in sight on a beautiful day but that wasn’t enough to improve Solomon Crowe’s mood. The EBWF media staff were behind the cameras recording the entire video package which would air before the Royal Rumble in the build-up to the championship match between Dean Ambrose and Solomon Crow which had already taken so many weird and crazy twists and turns. The psychiatrist then shuffled in his seat behind his desk and coughed to catch Solomon’s attention, before the camera panned to the left where on the couch, Solomon Crowe was laying down, peacefully, with his eyes shut and his arms cradling his EBWF World Championship title.

DR. JONES
Solomon…can you hear me…it’s been almost twenty minutes and you haven’t said a word…

Solomon didn’t move, his eyes were still shut but he could hear the psychiatrist and eventually decided to talk to him.

SOLOMON CROWE
Doctor Jones…tell me something…are you talking and listening to me for free?

DR. JONES
Ummm…well…no my prices are quite high but they reflect on my advice and how…troubled some people may be, I was recommended to you because of the activities that occurred last night when you attempted to fool officers and attempted to run away with stolen footage.

Solomon Crowe laughed to himself a little, clearly he wasn’t normal and the psychiatrist could see that after he was informed of what had happened the previous night.

SOLOMON CROWE
Well Doctor Jones, that footage you claim to be stolen is all mine, I own it all, every single clip.

DR. JONES
Well that may be, but I need to get inside that head of yours Solomon, now I know very well just how talented of a performer you are because you are of course a World Champion and my kids ask me to watch you every week. But…I need to get inside that head of yours Solomon, I need to know the REAL Solomon Crowe. Wait a second, you actually think you’re a movie director?

Crowe opened his eyes and slowly turned his head to the left to look at the psychiatrist, dead in the eye as his smile disappeared.

SOLOMON CROWE
Do I look like someone who gets pleasure out of trying to fool ordinary people that I am a petty movie director? Now I admit that I have great skills reaching far outside of the ring but I did tell everyone that my name is Solomon Crowe and they refused to believe me, so really it is not my fault doctor that the attendant is nursing a black eye and the couple will probably never leave their home for the next few months, I refuse to take the blame. You want to get inside of my head, doctor? You can try, but even I do not know just what the hell goes on inside of my mind some days, and it is not helped by the fact that this Sunday I have to take on a man far, far crazier than I am in Dean Ambrose, do your children like wrestling then, doctor?

DR. JONES
Of course Solomon, I think we all love wrestling growing up, we watch it together as a family and we’ve been to a couple of shows as well, it’s really good fun.

SOLOMON CROWE
That is very good to hear, you are being a great Father to those children of yours. Who do your children like?

DR. JONES
Oh, let’s see my little boy loves John Cena, he has all of the shirts and action figures and posters and everything. My little girls are obsessed with AJ Lee and Paige and my youngest can’t get enough of Dean Ambrose.

SOLOMON CROWE
Oh…I see…and you do not have any other children? You? Your wife? Who do you like?

DR. JONES
Oh well my wife has a slightly…disturbing obsession every time she sees Dolph Ziggler, and ummm…well I am an old school fan, Solomon. Sting, The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair…some older wrestlers who were probably wrestling long before you were even born.

SOLOMON CROWE
So…your family likes Dean Ambrose but…they do not really like Solomon Crowe? Ha…I mean…is that not even a little bit strange?

DR. JONES
Well what do you find so strange about it? Dean Ambrose? Everybody loves Dean Ambrose!

SOLOMON CROWE
Are you toying with me, you son of a bitch! You are trying to get inside of my head aren’t you? Trying to mess with my mind because you and your stupid little family loves Dean Ambrose and you want that crazy jackass as your World Champion!

DR. JONES
Solomon, you need to calm down! There’s no agenda here, I’ve never even met Dean Ambrose in person! I can see you get quite angry maybe your anger as a child has refused to leave you and it’s why you snap so easily? That causes you to lash out like you did last night, maybe?

SOLOMON CROWE
Doctor…I am calm! The only person on this planet who angers me now is Dean Ambrose, first it was John Cena and I dealt with him, apologies to your son but that had to be done. The Rock infuriated me and you still seem to sweat at the thought of him and now your young boy loves Dean Ambrose. I do not care about his feelings, simply because of that I am going to make sure Ambrose feels fear and pain like he has never felt before.

DR. JONES
Solomon…why did you get angry last night? I have seen the footage from your camera, and this film you have made, I am guessing this is based on your personal experiences, growing up?

SOLOMON CROWE
You see doctor THAT is what angers me. How everyone can seem to invade my privacy and they think they can get away with it. You went through my footage? Okay, let us make this fair then.

Solomon sat up and looked around the room for something to take, before his eyes fell on the psychiatrist’s cell phone which was on his desk. He quickly ran towards the desk and grabbed it as the doctor pleaded with him to give it back, but Crowe was having none of it.

SOLOMON CROWE
Come on, what could you possibly be hiding on…oh….OH!

Crowe stared at the contents of the phone as the doctor hung his head in shame and embarrassment before Crowe lifted his head and put the cell phone back on to the desk and took a seat once more with his whole attitude changing and he was open to listening.

DR. JONES
Sorry about that…now, I want you to take a moment to clear your mind, everything, forget you are a professional wrestler, forget you are the World Championship, forget about every single thing, everything.

SOLOMON CROWE
I cannot forget what I saw on that phone of yours doctor, but trust me I am trying.

Crowe then breathed in and out, exhaling and looking more relaxed before the psychiatrist continued.

DR. JONES
Now…what is the first thing you think of when I say…Dean Ambrose.

SOLOMON CROWE
Traitor, crazy, twisted, loser, back stabbing son of a bitch whose head I want to rip off!

DR. JONES
Ummm…wow. I see…what is the first thing you think of when I say…blood?

SOLOMON CROWE
Beautiful rivers of red blood just gushing from Dean Ambrose’s eyes and ears and mouth and knees and knuckles and head and elbows and abdomen with his neck twisted like an owl and his arm detached from his body and maybe as a celebration I will throw his fingers to the crowd in celebration, fingers for everyone! And me painting the entire arena red with his blood with a HUGE smile on my face, the sweet sound of my boots walking over his crushed bones and jumping up and down up and down up and down on his lifeless body and I will still get on my knees next to my best friend, my brother and I will lift his head up and I will ask him if he wants some more because I can always go again and repeat the entire process until there is not one drop of blood left in his stupid, greasy little body. And the janitor, oh he will not be able to mop up the arena because there will be so much blood! So much blood! I can almost taste the Royal Rumble, I can already feel that sweet pain that a match like this brings!

The psychiatrist just stared at Crowe who was still laying down, with his eyes closed as he clutched the title with a massive smile on his face as he thought of destroying Dean Ambrose.

DR. JONES
Let’s go back a number of years, what if you saw Dean Ambrose being bullied, what happens then? Do you join in?

SOLOMON CROWE
What do you take me for, doctor? If my best friend was lying there being punched and kicked and stamped on and spat on and he was a bloody mess, I would not sit back and watch the show! I would not join in either, I would fight each of the bullies off, one by one and laugh at them as they run in the opposite direction, and then I would help my friend up.

The psychiatrist smiled as Crowe showed a slightly softer side to him and was clearly impressed.

DR. JONES
That’s a nice thing to say, Solomon. Even in the way you said it.

SOLOMON CROWE
I was not finished. I would help up Dean Ambrose and I would brush his shoulders and knees off and I would punch him repeatedly, until he falls like a tree in a rainforest and I would punch him repeatedly until my hands fall off, that is what I would do.

The psychiatrist’s pleased look disappeared into a more disappointed look as he continued to make notes on his papers.

DR. JONES
What will happen, Solomon – IF, I repeat IF…Solomon Crowe was unable to defeat Dean Ambrose?

SOLOMON CROWE
If that is to happen then officially we will have a new EBWF World Champion, and as unlikely as that scenario may be, the EBWF will have a very big decision on their hands because I will personally ensure that the EBWF World Championship is vacated before I let somebody like Dean Ambrose walk out as the champion. If that means ending his career even after the match as ended then so be it. If it means I have to bring out a kendo stick and whip his back over and over and over again then so be it. If it means I have to drive his head through the announcer’s desk over and over and over and over again…then so be it. If it means I have to get a steel chair and place his neck inside of it and stamp the life out of Ambrose, then so be it. My point is doctor, it is a guarantee that Dean Ambrose will not walk out of the Royal Rumble as a healthy man. I will do things I have never done before in my entire, twisted life to make sure that nothing of that sort happens, I will stoop to new lows and put my own career on the line if that has to be done.

The psychiatrist stared at Solomon for a little while longer with a look of concern on his face, clearly worried by his psychotic state of mind as the Royal Rumble was quickly approaching. He then stopped for a moment and started to sign some forms and was beginning to quickly write on various pieces of paper before placing them in an envelope.

DR. JONES
Well Solomon…I believe we have made some great progress here today, I hope we can continue this again next week.

SOLOMON CROWE
And what is the protocol now doctor? Do I shake your hand and say it has been a pleasure? Do I reassure you and your son that Dean Ambrose will still be able to walk on his own two legs? Do I say see you next week or that we should go for a drink and whatnot?

DR. JONES
Umm. No Solomon. In fact I have to tell the EBWF that I don’t think you should be competing this Sunday. For the sake of Dean Ambrose’s health and with everything you have just told me, I think you are a danger to those around you, so I am sorry but that is my diagnosis and you shouldn’t compete, I apologise but there’s nothing I can do about it.

Solomon opened his eyes and sat back up, he looked at the psychiatrist who was hiding behind his desk as Crowe then walked up to him and snatched the papers out of his hands, he turned on the paper shredder which was next to his desk and then shredded them right in front of his eyes.

SOLOMON CROWE
You think a stupid little man like yourself can tell me whether I should or should not compete at the Royal Rumble? Give me your glasses. Give them to me!

The psychiatrist hesitated before taking his glasses off in fear and handing them over to Crowe who looked through the lenses and put them on and looked around the room with his hands in front of him.

SOLOMON CROWE
Give me your blazer too.

The psychiatrist quickly gave his blazer to Crowe who put it on and looked like a doctor you’d want to avoid. He then walked around the desk quietly and swept everything off of the desk so it was empty and crated a loud thud on the ground. He walked over to the psychiatrist again and out of nowhere he hit a forearm in his face, before voices could be heard behind the EBWF camera, the crew telling Crowe to stop in kayfabe but he ordered them to stay back. He jumped on to the wooden desk and dragged the doctor by his hair on to it, he looked into his eyes and laughed at him before grabbing his head and driving it through the desk which didn’t break, but knocked the psychiatrist out cold. He then wiped his forehead as he got off the desk and leaned on it, looking at the couch. He took off his blazer and glasses and placed them on the desk next to the psychiatrist’s lifeless body and went back to his seat, looking at the desk before talking.

SOLOMON CROWE
Oh doctor, it really is great to see you again.

He then stood up and walked to the desk again, before wearing the glasses and the blazer and looking back at the empty couch, acting as the doctor.

DR. CROWE
Likewise Solomon, I see you brought your championship with you today, and I have a sneaky feeling that you plan to use it on Sunday, am I right?

He then walked back to the couch and took the items off, before a big cycle was made as Crowe continued to walk back and forth from the couch to the desk, acting as both the patient and the doctor.

SOLOMON CROWE
Oh this championship title? Yes I have been preparing this doctor Crowe, because I think I might hit this over Dean Ambrose’s head repeatedly.

DR. CROWE
That sound great to me, Solomon! I cannot wait. Have I told you how you are my favourite wrestler?

SOLOMON CROWE
Yes I know, I think I will be doing everyone a favour come Sunday and I just cannot contain my excitement.

DR. CROWE
I think so too, Solomon. I think come the end of your match even Dean Ambrose will love Solomon Crowe. Do you want to know what I think? From a professional standpoint, no bias whatsoever, you know that is not my style.

SOLOMON CROWE
Sure doctor, I respect you very highly, you know that.

DR. CROWE
Thank you, Solomon. I think you NEED to end Dean Ambrose. As you have said, this virus is quickly spreading and he has attached himself on to you, right now everybody hates you because they seem to love Dean Ambrose. But let’s take a step back and look at the bigger picture, what happens if Dean Ambrose survives? Then this virus will continue to grow bigger and bigger, he will latch on to every single superstar and then nobody can stop him, and then what? The EBWF will later wish Solomon Crowe had defeated Dean Ambrose the first time.

SOLOMON CROWE
I am very glad to hear that, you and I are on the same boat here doctor. I also believe I need to finish Dean Ambrose, I cannot express just how much I need his broken body in front of me as proof that this virus will not rise again and continue to create havoc in every corner he turns. Every time he wakes up, in whoever gutter it is in, the first thing I want him to think of is the Royal Rumble. The first person I want him to think of is Solomon Crowe and his first memory of that morning I want it to be the match at the Royal Rumble, and the brutality that followed. This is his own doing, I am just eradicating the next superstar that has been placed in front of me, and the disadvantage for Dean Ambrose is that he KNOWS he cannot beat me because I know him more than anybody should. I know what he likes, what he dislikes, what gets under his skin, what gets him angry, I can read the man like a book and it is a damn shame that the EBWF Universe has not realised that yet, but they will…in time.

DR. CROWE
Well, I believe you are more than ready to compete Solomon, no concerns on my part, my diagnosis is that what you need is Dean Ambrose inside of the ring on Sunday and you need to do whatever you can, everything and anything and if that means you bleed, then you bleed. If that means you have to break your own bones, you deal with it and handle that pain. I believe THAT is what will make you feel a whole lot better.

Solomon quickly took off the glasses and the blazer and threw them on to the psychiatrist who was starting to regain consciousness. He sat back down on the couch and nodded his head in agreement before grabbing his World Championship and standing up, patting the psychiatrist on the shoulder before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him, acting as if nothing even happened in the room. The door closed and the scene faded to black before the EBWF crew wrapped things up and started to pack the equipment away ready to edit and show to the EBWF Universe with plenty of video packages yet to shoot and edit.

Friday 23rd January 2015 – Ambrose House – Cincinnati, Ohio

The EBWF camera crew were spending time with World Champion Solomon Crowe once more, this time in Cincinnati. The latest video package that they were shooting was taking place in an abandoned home which was going to be used as a prop in the storyline between Dean Ambrose and Solomon Crowe and acting as the house Ambrose and the family grew up in. The EBWF crew made sure that it looked as if nobody had used the house for years and years and guided Crowe through each of the rooms he would need to walk through and use, and reminded him of the script as well.

He walked into one of the rooms and sat on the bed, and after clearing the bed up he rested his head on the pillow before the cameras started to roll. Before they did, Crowe turned on an old radio placed next to the bed and a familiar song started to play on it and the camera started rolling once Solomon Crowe started to sing along with it, very quietly.

SOLOMON CROWE
Hey hey, my my. Solomon Crowe…can never die. There’s more to the picture…than meets the eye…hey hey, my my.

Crowe’s eyes remained closed as the wind was bursting through the broken windows, starting to sing the second verse and subtly hinting at Dean Ambrose.

SOLOMON CROWE
Out of the blue…and into the black…you pay for this but they give you that. And once you’re gone…you can’t come back. When you’re out of the blue and into the black…

He then smiled to himself before the next verse could start, he started to pat on his own abdomen as he started to get into the song, understanding why Dean Ambrose liked the song so much and then it was up to the fans, if he was aiming it at Dean Ambrose, or his previous opponents in John Cena or The Rock, the choice was up to them.

SOLOMON CROWE
The king is gone, but he’s not forgotten. Is this the story, of Johnny Rotten? It’s better to burn out, ‘cause rust never sleeps…the king is gone…but he’s not forgotten…Hey hey, my my. Solomon Crowe, can never die. There’s more to the picture…than meets the eye…

The song then stopped playing and his eyes opened, sitting up on the bed and resting his fingers on his chin as he looked around the small room, looking up and down at the mess and the dirt before he started to talk into the camera.

SOLOMON CROWE
I remember this place quite well. I actually sent more time in this house more than I did my own, you see the Ambrose family were more like me, they understood me, and they accepted and embraced me more than my own flesh and blood could. And to this day I thank them for it, and truth be told, I miss them every single day. I genuinely believe the Ambrose family misses me too, I know they miss me more than they miss their own beloved Dean. It must hurt knowing your own family hated the look of you but still embraced someone so close to you, even though they did not say it we both know that was the reality. Wherever your family maybe, who knows which prison your twisted, deranged father is rotting in but the remainder of your family will be very proud of what Solomon Crowe has achieved in the EBWF, he became World Champion when the entire world doubted him. From the moment you brought me into your home the love they had for you ended, and now your own family will be crowding around a television set on Sunday night and they will hope Solomon Crowe can retain his EBWF World Championship against their very own son.

Solomon Crowe then stood up, and walked around the room, looking at the glass and the broken pieces of wood on the floor from the cupboards and the pictures.

SOLOMON CROWE
I think I understand what has driven you to the current state you are in. No freedom, being locked inside of these four walls every single day, having a family like yours not supporting you through anything, waking up and seeing your parents passed out every morning, strange people knocking on your door every day not knowing whether this will be your home the next day or not, I understand and I sympathise but Dean, you are not the only one who has had it tough in life. People like myself have had it more difficult and you know what? I think you have failed, failed because people who have had it tougher, people like me have become World Champions and you…you just do not take anything seriously enough and it is the reason you will fail to cash in that championship on me at the Royal Rumble, successfully.

Solomon Crowe then dropped the pictures he was holding and wiped his fingers across a desk, with the dust sticking to his fingers as he wiped it on his pants in disgust. He signalled for the cameras to follow him as he slowly walked out of the room and stepped foot on the creaky floorboards. He walked around the top floor, slowly opening the doors of the various rooms and making a disgusted face every time he looks inside the rooms and then shuts the doors. He turned back to the camera with his disgusted look before talking into the lens.

SOLOMON CROWE
It might be hard to believe but I think this home is in better condition than it was with his entire twisted family living under the same roof, shouting from one corner to the other, so much abuse and negativity it is no wonder Dean Ambrose turned out the way he did. This home of yours is a mess, your life is a mess and your career is a mess and come Sunday it will be much, much worse courtesy of your old friend…Solomon Crowe.

He barged past the camera as the cameraman stumbled back, but regained his balance as Crowe slowly walked down the stairs very carefully, not wanting to fall. He held the wall towards the bottom and turned the corner, the cameraman noticed Solomon avoiding the living room and heading straight to the kitchen in what was already a strange video package. The cameraman and rest of the staff followed Crowe as he scouted the dirty, dusty kitchen for a short while before a smile grew on his face. He started to open the cupboards one by one, clearly looking for something before looking near the sink, and strangely picking up a large blender, testing it out a couple of times and eventually it started to work. He rubbed his hands together in excitement before picking the blender up and walking back out of the kitchen and then into the living room. The cameras followed as he dusted off the table and placed the blender down on it, before dusting the couch as well so he could sit and then we finally saw a glimpse of the EBWF World Championship which he picked up from the floor next to the table and dusted it off, placing it next to him as he took a seat with the staff and cameramen sat opposite him. He started to think for a while as he leaned back, acting as if he had been here before to make it more believable and he finally leaned forward again to speak.

SOLOMON CROWE
I find the dust in this house quite similar to you Dean, this dust is everywhere, everywhere I turn, everywhere I look, I can just feel it, I can taste it, I can smell it and I really do not want to. The same applies to you old friend, everywhere I turn all I can see is your face, I can feel your presence as it feels like you have latched yourself on to me and as hard as I try I just cannot erase that feeling. There is only one way I will be able to move forward in peace and that is to get rid of you and I could be a typical superstar and say it will be easy, trust me people Dean Ambrose does not do easy. You hit him and he will keep coming back, he is a strange being, he loves it when he is being hit, the pain, the adrenaline, the excitement, he loves it all. I know it will not be easy, because Solomon Crowe does not do easy either. Did I think John Cena would be easy? No. John Cena was not easy, but I got that victory one way or another. Did I ever say The Rock would be easy? Nope. But again, one way or another, as tough as it was, as much as I had to put my body on the line…I did it. I walked out of there with my World Championship and I plan on doing the same this Sunday at the Royal Rumble. Dean Ambrose will not be easy, and I do not like easy victories. There is no sense of accomplishment, it is just another name on a piece of paper, another name on a record, and there are no scars, no sweat, and no blood, nothing of that sort. THAT is a satisfying win, and that is what I plan on doing this Sunday. By now means will it be easy, but one way or another, bending the rules or not, I will defeat Dean Ambrose.

Crowe began to get a little more frustrated and lifted a fist in front of him and started to bite on it before laughing maniacally again. And he looked next to the couch and picked up a doll which looked like Dean Ambrose, something often used in voodoo. He started to throw it side to side in his hands and then placed it on the table and leaned closer to it before talking again in his eerie voice.

SOLOMON CROWE
I almost forgot that I bought you a little present if you ever do decide to come back here to a place with bad memories. What I have here, I believe, is a doll used to practice the art of voodoo now I could sit here and spew out nonsense on voodoo but one I highly doubt you can understand anything I say because nobody knows what goes on inside that screwed-up head of yours, two I simply do not care about all of this gobbledygook but it was highly recommended by someone who is almost as crazy as you and three I do not think I could keep a straight face if I was to explain it seriously.

Crowe started laughing as he started to stick pins into different parts of the doll, the hands, the eyes, the legs before aggressively stabbing the pins into the face and in the eyes whilst talking to the camera, he continued to stick many pins inside.

SOLOMON CROWE
You know people often compare our beloved Dean Ambrose to the fictional, popular, comic book supervillain…The Joker. Of course, the similarities are there, they both act in the same way, crazy and loose-cannons who could just implode at any time. They are loved by the people, even though the Joker is an antagonist, people just cannot help but love him…and Dean Ambrose is also an antagonist, but people love him and adore him and worship him but they cannot see the Dean Ambrose I see. And we cannot forget the similarities in their looks but I am sure EBWF’s Tyler Breeze could explain that far, far better than I could. But the fact remains, Dean Ambrose is the EBWF’s resident Joker, he acts tough and looks crazy but at the end of the day a joker will always be a joker, people will always point at him, and laugh at him because they know he can never achieve anything. Just like The Joker cannot defeat The Batman, Dean Ambrose cannot defeat Solomon Crowe, and everybody knows that and as each hour passes by, the Dean Ambrose bandwagon starts to feel emptier and emptier…these pins, apparently they are stuck inside these dolls to help focus and direct energy upon the person the doll is resembling. Which is a shame because I was going ahead with this thinking if I poked a pin in your eye, your eyeball would fall out but that does not seem to be the case, but it is okay I can do that in person on Sunday when I have your stupid face in between my hands.

He then stopped sticking pins inside the doll which resembled Dean Ambrose and then reached over to plug in the blender he took from the kitchen, he wiped his hands from the dust and then opened the lid and threw in the doll, before the blender started to make a loud noise as the Ambrose doll went round and round, with Crowe not speaking louder to make sure he was heard over the noise.

SOLOMON CROWE
Who knows, maybe the power of a blender has more affect than the power of voodoo, there is no harm in trying though. Your arms will be backwards, your kneecaps will be shattered and your brain will be even more mashed than it already is. There is not long left now, for one I cannot stand being in this house with so many Dean Ambrose memories hanging from corner to corner, and I hope those of you that ware watching this tune in tomorrow where I will accept the EBWF’s request to join Renee Young for an interview, where you people get to ask the burning questions you are dying to ask.

He stopped the blender and then pulled out the doll, which was now ripped into pieces with the head of the doll almost falling off of the body. Crowe laughed at the site of it and showed it into the camera.

SOLOMON CROWE
This…THIS will be the state of your Dean Ambrose on Sunday, there is not long left.

He then walked towards the wall and held the doll’s head against it, and pinned it to the wall with the camera fading out as Crowe walked away, zooming in on the doll to conclude the strange segment for the video package.

Saturday 24th January 2015 – EBWF Headquarters – Media Department

Only one day remained until the highly anticipated Royal Rumble event, and Solomon Crowe’s media duties were almost over in what had been a hectic week for him in the build-up to his match with Dean Ambrose, in the hope that it would steal the show. The tired Sam Johnston changed into his black suit and the make-up was on, he was getting mic’ed up as his interview/question and answer session would be conducted by Renee Young. Renee was busy sorting out the papers she had in her hands whilst taking orders through her earpiece.

SAM JOHNSTON
What kind of questions do we have then?

RENEE YOUNG
Ummm…from what I can see it’s about your week and why you’ve been doing what you are doing. We have some questions of our own as well I think and the Royal Rumble as well, so nothing to be too worried about.

SAM JOHNSTON
I’m not really worried, excited and tired for sure, it’s been a busy week but it will all be worth it.

RENEE YOUNG
You have an interview tomorrow as well, right?

SAM JOHNSTON
No, not an interview just a piece to camera before the match, try and make everyone hate me a little bit more I guess.

RENEE YOUNG
I’m sure you’ll have no problem doing that, doing a fine job already, very believable. Third match with a title involved now, which proved to be more nervous for you then, John? Dwayne? Or this one?

SAM JOHNSTON
This one isn’t too bad, me and Mox know each other, work together well so I knew this would always entertain and it’s done so. The others…I think it was 50-50 because I didn’t really know Dwayne or John, then again I didn’t really try to know them, Dwayne was there with the advice and stuff so that helped but me and John didn’t really connect in that ring, sometimes I was slower, sometimes he was but it worked. The matches were good, crowd loved them, and they hated me so I think they’ve both been good. Plus going in to win the title is difficult but retaining it is so much more difficult so I guess it’ll only get more difficult I think.

PRODUCER
Okay guys, we’re ready to shoot when you are.

Sam closed his eyes to focus and get into the twisted Crowe’s mind again, he looked up at Renee with a straight look, no reaction as she made final preparations. Crowe shuffled the EBWF World Championship title on his left shoulder before the cameras started rolling.

RENEE YOUNG
Ladies and gentlemen, joining me at this time in an exclusive interview here at the EBWF Headquarters is none other than the EBWF World Champion…Solomon Crowe. Solomon, thank you for joining us here today.

Crowe didn’t respond verbally, but instead he nodded to show his appreciated before shuffling back into his seat, getting more comfortable by leaning back into his seat.

RENEE YOUNG
Now Solomon, over the past month we have seen you and Dean Ambrose take your rivalry to new heights, I mean we all saw the brutal attack when you two were scheduled for a match on Warfare and you left him in a heap on the announcer’s desk, and then he decided to cash in Path to Glory Championship on you, at the Royal Rumble. The first question from a fan; what were your thoughts when you first found out, Dean Ambrose was going to cash in on you?

SOLOMON CROWE
Well first off you are correct, Dean Ambrose and I have taken this friend slash foe rivalry to newer heights, to heights people like you and the EBWF Universe enjoy. You enjoy brutality, you enjoy watching people getting hurt and it gives you a warm feeling inside. You people pay to be entertained, now what kind of person would I be if I was to allow Dean Ambrose off the hook every single week, allow him to do what he wants and I just sit there with a smile on my face, what kind of person would I be if I was John Cena version two? I would be booed, people would hate me because I do not entertain, I do not put my body on the line whereas The Lunatic Fringe…does. So I decided, why not give the people what they want? Why not be a champion who puts his body on the line every single night rather than once per month? So I took it upon myself to entertain, to hurt, to give you all…and myself…that warm feeling inside. And after all of the talking and the so-called attacks, the people still boo me and cheer Dean Ambrose, but it is fine by me. As for your question, my thoughts on Dean Ambrose and when he decided to cash in on me? Well, Renee I thought it was inevitable. When that match was announced for Monday Night Warfare, I was very…very, disappointed. You see people like myself and Dean Ambrose do not rip each other’s heads off on Warfare, we do it on the bigger stages, and right now the Royal Rumble is that big stage. Would I have liked to face him at WrestleMania? Of course, I would have loved nothing more than to pin his crazy head and his shoulders to the mat in the middle of that ring with 70,000 people sitting in silence at the fact that this man they love so much, lost to Solomon Crowe. But it is okay, 18,000 people will be sitting in silence instead in Houston. When he announced his intentions, I was pleased, happy. Now as much as I hate Dean Ambrose, I am proud of him. Proud of how far he has come, that he has made it in the EBWF after he worked so hard to get where he is…exactly like I have managed to do, but the only difference is I have gold around my waist. Renee, I was happy that he announced his intentions to cash in that championship on me. It made me feel like a wanted man, for once in my life people wanted me. For months and months the poor souls here chased John Cena and feel at every single roadblock, and now that will happen again but it will be much worse. He announced his intentions, I thought mission accomplished. What, did you all think I just wanted to get out of a match with Dean Ambrose on Warfare? No, I WANTED Dean Ambrose at the next big stage and he did what I expected him to do and he is cashing in. Unfortunately for him, Solomon Crowe, an old friend of his is the champion so he is wasting this glorious opportunity, and unfortunately for him we are all too deep into it now, even Dean Ambrose cannot back out from what is coming to him.

RENEE YOUNG
Another popular topic the fans raised on social media throughout the week was the friendship between you and Dean Ambrose, where does this all stem from? What caused the friction between the two of you?

SOLOMON CROWE
I would not call it friendship, Renee. I would say it was a bond between brothers. But you know what siblings are like, Renee. They grow up, they fight, they grow distant and sooner or later they forget about one another and we never see or hear from one another ever again. That was the case with the two of us, how the friction came about is not of importance Renee, seeing my face haunted him and seeing his face came as a surprise to me and on this journey, wrestling in front of tens and hundreds of people to now performing in front of thousands and thousands inside an arena and millions is a good feeling in itself. But defeating Dean Ambrose, a person I know so well, on a stage like this is nothing short of perfect.

RENEE YOUNG
Well we are all certainly looking forward to what the two of you bring tomorrow night, but over the last few weeks you have remained busy in playing these mind games with Dean Ambrose. Do you think these mind games will work?

SOLOMON CROWE
There are only a handful of people on this planet who know how to irritate Dean Ambrose, only a handful of people who know how to control him, how to get on his good side, his bad side, his crazy side and even fewer people know how to defeat him. I am one of those people Renee. If I did not think these mind games would work I would not have wasted my time with it all. Do I think these mind games will work? Of course I do. And do you something Miss Young? I honestly believe that even Dean Ambrose is beginning to doubt himself, he knows he cannot dethrone Solomon Crowe, and it will only be a matter of time before the entire world witnesses it.

RENEE YOUNG
Well only time will tell Solomon, what the EBWF personnel and the fans too, what they want to know is do YOU…genuinely believe you can defeat Dean Ambrose.

The atmosphere in the room began to get tense as Solomon Crowe stared at Renee for a brief moment and then took a big gulp and looked around the room before looking to the ground and then back at Renee before answering.

SOLOMON CROWE
I do not only think I can defeat Dean Ambrose tomorrow night. I believe I can scar Dean Ambrose for life, I believe...I can end Dean Ambrose and the thing he calls a career tomorrow night.

RENEE YOUNG
Interesting, and just before we leave let’s move on to…

SOLOMON CROWE
No we will not be moving on to anything Renee until you and your crew here can answer me MY question. What do YOU think will happen at the Royal Rumble? Who do YOU think will walk out with this championship title?

RENEE YOUNG
I…I don’t think it would be fair for me to give an opinion.

Solomon Crowe then smiled and stood up, putting the championship on his seat and walking around the room, looking at the members of the crew who were shooting the interview as he tried to intimidate them. He looked them all in the eye, one by one before standing over Renee Young and leaning down to talk to her.

SOLOMON CROWE
I cannot force you to change your opinion Miss Young…I know what you all thing and what you believe will happen, everybody but me in this room thinks, believes Dean Ambrose is snatching this championship away from me. You are all entitled to your opinions, but I am sorry to say you will all be bitterly disappointed.

Crowe then backed off, taking his arms off of the chair and going back to his own, clipping the microphone back on to his shirt and placing the EBWF World Championship on his lap before leaning back and awaiting the next question.

RENEE YOUNG
Umm…final question before you leave us, of course we have the exciting 30-man Royal Rumble match in the main event, what are your thoughts as the champion? Who do you think will win? Who do you hope will win considering you MIGHT be facing the winner? Any dark horses we should look out for?

SOLOMON CROWE
Well I appreciate you are reading the script you have been given even though you believe Dean Ambrose will be the champion but I will answer your question regardless. I am not sure on who exactly will be in the Royal Rumble because who knows, perhaps when Dean Ambrose loses he might decide to try his luck once more in the Royal Rumble but I believe he will have learnt his lesson by then. Who do I think will win? Lance Strom? Trent? Even though the Royal Rumble is every man for himself, forming a partnership will always work in favour of the partners and we know just how overprotective Mr. Storm is over his little protégé, who I have thrown out of a ring to get this championship might I add. So I believe either of the two are dangerous to me and my championship. A third…I do not want to waste my time with people like Sami Zayn, Adam Rose and CJ Parker for example but good luck to them anyway. Only two other names stand out to me, CM Punk…it is the perfect stage for him to prove to ME why he thinks he is the best in the world and with him…Brock Lesnar would be my pick. With a genius like Paul Heyman in his corner, that is an advantage already so good luck to the 29 who try to stop him.

RENEE YOUNG
Some interesting choices there, and quickly before we leave who do YOU want to face should that opportunity come about at WrestleMania?

SOLOMON CROWE
Two names stand out to me. I would like nothing more than to end the wrestling career of one Chris Jericho, you can go around in your suits and fire people by using my name but one thing is for sure, if you win the Royal Rumble and meet me at WrestleMania when I defend my championship again, you can be sure the only person losing his job, will be Chris Jericho and it will not be because he is fired, but because he feels he cannot give enough anymore after stepping inside of the ring with me. The second name, I know a lot of people who would love to step into the ring with him. I am no different. A surprising addition but I guess the man can do whatever he wants and we sit there and agree like yes men, Mr. Wes Ikeda. I wish him luck, I like his style, I like his approach, and he reminds me of myself. The world would be talking, pinning the owner, pinning the man in front of millions, the man who signs my cheque, THAT would be satisfying. So I wish the Royal Rumble competitors the best of luck, because even though that match is tough…getting into the ring with me for my World Championship is a whole different ball game.

RENEE YOUNG
Well only time will tell whether you can indeed defend your championship against Dean Ambrose tomorrow night and whether any of your Rumble predictions do come to fruition, Solomon I thank you for taking the time to join us and good luck for tomorrow.

Crowe once again nodded to Renee without saying a word as the cameras faded to black to end the interview. Both Renee and Sam breathed a sigh of relief that the interview went well as he wiped the sweat off of his forehead and unclipped his microphone, before giving Renee a quick hug and shaking the hand of the crew members and production team before leaving for some short time to himself, ready for the following night where he takes on Dean Ambrose at the Royal Rumble.

Sunday 25th January 2015 – Royal Rumble – Houston, Texas

The night was finally here, the Royal Rumble pay-per-view with a lot at stake in every single match, championships, respect, the opportunity to get to WrestleMania were all hanging in the balance and one superstar who had the most pressure on his shoulders on the night, was Solomon Crowe. Ever since he was scheduled to take on Dean Ambrose on an episode of Warfare weeks ago, tensions escalated to a new high with both superstars doing whatever it takes to get into the minds of each other and try to get any advantage heading into this match and Crowe knew he did everything he possibly could to make Ambrose more unstable than he already is.

The night was already underway, and the World Championship match was edging closer, but there was no way Solomon Crowe was going to head into the match without one final word. Space Dementia by Muse eventually blasted the PA system and the Toyota Center erupted into boos as the arena darkened with Solomon Crowe’s figure emerging on stage. He stepped forward in his ring gear and the World Championship was draped over his shoulder, confidently walking down the ramp as his name was announced on the PA system by Christy Hemme. Crowe and the smug look on his face made their way into the ring with a microphone and circled the ring as the Dean Ambrose chants started to echo around the arena, not giving Crowe the silence he needed to speak, but he was fine with waiting and indeed he did. Smiling and laughing at the fans who continued to chant for Ambrose but eventually they did grow tired of the waiting, and Crowe had the time frame he needed to speak.

SOLOMON CROWE
So finally the time has arrived, the Royal Rumble. One of the most exciting events on the EBWF calendar and I am more excited than anybody here in this arena. Can you imagine, this actually made me laugh when I was thinking it backstage, can you imagine if Dean Ambrose did not even win his Path to Glory Championship match? Would you people sell out this arena if it was Solomon Crowe ripping Justin Gabriel to shreds and into little pieces? I do not think so. There is not long left until Dean Ambrose’ music hits the Public Address system and he talks to himself on his way down that ramp and into this ring and we probably will not even wait for the bell but luckily for him, tonight I am ready for a fight. This is what you call a championship match people, tonight it is not about the big names in the business, tonight it is not about who has the most followers on social media, who sells the most merchandise, who received the loudest reaction, who impresses the hierarchy the most, tonight it is about who can endure the most pain and the suffering and utilise it the best, tonight that man will be me. And who knows? Perhaps the man to turn Dean Ambrose into a sane, normal man will be none other than Doctor Crowe himself, it is a guarantee, not a prediction. You do not need any spoiler alerts, you have been given enough warnings, Dean Ambrose will be here any second now and I will drive Dean Ambrose’ head into this mat over and over again and who knows, perhaps Solomon Crowe will drive the head of Ambrose so hard that even the unstable can become stable.

Crowe stared into the camera as he threw the microphone out of the ring and slapped his face to pump himself up, shouting to the stage waiting for Dean Ambrose to make his way to the ring with the World Championship still firmly in his hand.
