Role Models

The scene opened up on a busy street in Houston Texas, just one block from the Toyota Center where the Royal Rumble was to be held. The street was busy, and the arena could be seen in the distance. It was a chilly day in Houston, and the pedestrians that were out and about this afternoon were dressed in light winter garb. The camera panned left and fell upon Natalya and Trish Stratus. Natalya was in a black hoodie, her hair tied back in a pony tail. A new pink stripe of hair was pinned back along with the rest of her blond locks. Trish was wearing a white puffer coat and her hair was down.
Natalya: Hi. We're on Avenida de las Americas, a busy street very close to the Royal Rumble. Since we so handily defeated the team of Alexa Bliss and Emma, we decided this time we would be very sportsladylike and head out into the world to find our opponents at the Rumble, Summer Rae and... um...
Natalya snapped her fingers a couple times, trying to pull the name from her memory. She took a shot in the dark.
Natalya: Kelly Kelly?
Trish Stratus: No. NO. Do you even remember what happened the last time you were in the ring with her?
Natalya shuddered at the thought.
Natalya: Oh, it's Eva Marie. Summer Rae and Eva Marie. So with that being said, we're here to find our opponents and wish them the best of luck. We're not really a hundred percent sure where they are, because we don't really talk to them and we sure as heck don't have their cell phone numbers. To that end, we're here at Starbucks.
Trish Stratus: Pretty much the mecca for all basic bitches.
Natalya: That's right, Trish. We're hoping that maybe if we buy a couple Pumpkin Spice Lattes and set them out in front of the Bath and Body Works, that we'll hit the jackpot and find our opponents at the Royal Rumble.
Trish Stratus: As the future Women's Tag Team Champions, it's our responsibility to show the fans of EBWF that we are role models. We are women of high integrity, and despite the fact that our two opponents somehow managed to dust their knees off long enough to defend their tag titles, we plan on taking the division in an entirely new direction.
Natalya: As you know, Trish and I are known as the tag team of Beautiful Dangerous. It's such a fitting name. Not only are we the two naturally gorgeous women in the EBWF, we're also the most dangerous to step into the ring with. But there's no reason that the other women in this division shouldn't be the exact same way.
Trish Stratus: Every single woman on the roster should be a respectable athlete.
Natalya: Absolutely. There should be countless Natalyas and Trish Stratuses out there, taking this business seriously and spending every waking moment perfecting their craft. Instead, we have a ballroom dancer and a girl who dyed her hair comically red.
Trish Stratus: Seriously? That's it? Those two are the women REPRESENTING the women's division? How does that happen?!
Natalya: I'll tell you how that happens, Trish. We were gone for far too long. We were absent in the EBWF while the basic bitches came in with their PSLs, their ugg boots, and their overly filtered instagram photos, and took over the place. Basically, we let Summer Rae and Eva Marie run the joint and did nothing to stop it. Well, that's not happening anymore.
Trish Stratus: It's been too long since I've made this company my focus. Too long since I got on the road and started making these pathetic excuses for women humble in the ring.
Natalya: It's time to separate the women from the girls. It's time that Natalya and Trish Stratus made their returns to the ring and made a serious bid for all of the championships EBWF has to offer. Because when the two of us have our focus on the goal of being champions, we will be champions. There's just not a single woman on the roster that compares to either of us, let alone a team that could come close to the two of us when we are working together.
Trish Stratus: So while Summer Rae and Eva Marie are shopping for scented candles and infinity scarves, Nattie and I'll be preparing for our match, and WHEN we win the Women's Tag Team Championships, that's when we'll be doing our shopping.
Natalya: You know. Just a few accessories to compliment the Women's title belts that will be around our waist. I'm not afraid to spend a lot, because we're going to have them for a long, long time.
Trish Stratus: At least you'll have your Starbucks, ladies.
Natalya and Trish waved at the camera and walked off, as the scene faded to black.
