The Royal Rumble took backstage as Torrie Wilson was sitting in a make-up chair, getting her face done up by long time make-up artist, Jan. Jan worked her magic on Torrie for a short time before the sultry Eva Marie stepped in. Holding onto her tag team championship belt, Eva pushed Jan to the side and looked down upon Torrie.

EVA MARIE: Excuse me, a real champion needs a touch up.

TORRIE WILSON: A "real" champion should have gotten hear faster then. I'll be finished in a few minutes. You can wait.

The definition of polar opposites were staring each other in the face. On one end there was a woman who had undoubtedly paid her dues in EBWF and was widely liked throughout the company, yet had not seen too much glory as of late in Torrie Wilson, and staring her in the face was a woman who was widely hated throughout the company, yet someone managed to stay in the limelight by holding a championship many felt she was undeserving of in Eva Marie. This was not the first time the two had encountered one another, and it seemed as though this time was not about to be any different from the last. Much like a handful of the other women in the locker room, Eva Marie made it clear that she felt Torrie Wilson no longer had a place in the division and was only kept around due to ties she formed with management. Unfortunately, it was an issue Torrie had been facing for a long time as she admittedly had not done anything of significance in quite some time aside from a failed attempt to capture the women's championship against Michelle McCool a few months back. But Torrie would never be the type to walk away, despite the criticisms, which was more than just a little irritating to Eva.

EVA MARIE: Listen, I appreciate what you're doing here, believe me, I do. I mean, I'm glad you recognize the fact that you really need as much time getting your make-up done as you need, being 65 and wrinkly and all - and you don't want to hurt anyone's eyes, but let's face facts, there's not much that can be done. So, buh-bye!

TORRIE WILSON: Wow, Eva, you're so clever! I've never heard that one before. But no, I'm not moving.

EVA MARIE: Don't make me check you, oldie.

TORRIE WILSON: You can try. I don't see your friends around, though. Don't you need them within at least 10 feet to do anything?

Torrie had been in the business for so long, she knew how someone like Eva Marie worked. Eva could talk as much trash as she wanted, but Torrie could still out do her in that department. The diva's tag team champion seethed, growing more irritated with Torrie, who had not moved a muscle.

EVA MARIE: Get up, bitch!

TORRIE WILSON: Say please.

EVA MARIE: Please get up, bitch.

TORRIE WILSON: It's fine, Jan. You can keep going.

Torrie just looked right past Eva Marie as she spoke to Jan. Eva stomped her foot in anger as Jan brushed by her and went back to using a brush on Torrie's face. The fact that Eva was by herself was definitely working against her. Eva was dumb, but not dumb enough to start with someone she knew could take her out on her own. So that's why instead of doing something to Torrie, she did something to Jan, grabbing the make-up artist by her ponytail and yanking her back. Torrie instantly got up from the chair, but Eva grabbed onto a lipstick and held it up to Jan's cheek, shouting out at her.

EVA MARIE: Do anything and she get's a makeover!

TORRIE WILSON: You are absolutely disgraceful, you know that?

EVA MARIE: That's why I'm a champion and you're not. You can stay mad about it.

TORRIE WILSON: Go ahead and take your chair. I'm not going to entertain this.

EVA MARIE: That's what I thought.

Eva let go of Jan's hair and plopped down in the make-up chair. Jan looked frightened, but Torrie briefly rested her hand on Jan's shoulder to assure her it was going to be fine. Eva's smirk didn't last too long, though, as Torrie turned around and got in her face before she left for good.

TORRIE WILSON: Since tonight is your first Rumble, just a little warning for you. All the trash you've been talking is about to blow up right in your face. And since you're defending those titles tonight too, I wouldn't be so confident that you'll be walking out of here as smug as you walked in. If every diva on the roster isn't enough for you, I'm sure Trish and Natalya will knock you back into reality.

Then Torrie walked away from Eva. As a veteran, Torrie had never encountered someone as terrible as Eva Marie in her entire career, both personally or professionally. That is why she was more than looking forward to getting her hands on her, along with the rest of the divas, and then eventually, hopefully, watching her lose her ever so precious tag team championships. But in typical Eva Marie fashion, she had to get the last word.

EVA MARIE: Who?!
