MATCH ONE


After a video package hyping up the various matches in tonight's PPV event, the cameras panned out across the arena as a fireworks display exploded near the entrance ramp. The crowd was amped up, holding their signs.

Jim Ross: Good evening, everyone! Tonight we kick off the official road to Wrestlemania 13! Tonight we will see the EBWF World Championship defended! Also, virtually the entire roster has a shot at immortality tonight as we crown a Royal Rumble winner! Let's go to Christy Hemme!

Christy Hemme was in the ring, wearing a slender, dark blue dress with a long slit up the side. She smiled at the camera as she brought the mic to her lips.

Christy Hemme: The first contest is the Women's Royal Rumble match! The match will start with two participants in the ring, followed by a new participant every thirty seconds. The only way to eliminate your opponent is to throw them through the ropes and out to the floor. The final contestant in the ring will be declared the winner and will be the challenger for the EBWF Women's Championship at Wrestlemania!

Jim Ross: That's right folks! It's time to determine the number one contender for the Women's Championship. Now the only difference in this match is that the women don't need to go over the top rope to be eliminated, they need only to be removed from the ring completely. This makes it much harder to escape elimination.

Brie Bella's music played throughout the arena as one half of the Bella twins made her way down to the ring. She slide into the ring and waved at the crowd. The music continued on and Nikki made her way down to the ring as well.

Jim Ross: An interesting dynamic in that the sisters Bella have drawn the two shortest straws in this Royal Rumble match.

The referees outside called for the bell and the Bella sisters hugged, then immediately locked up, not hesitating one bit. Brie powered Nikki into a side headlock takedown, flipping Nikki over onto her back. Nikki kicked up her feet and shook her head loose, quickly getting back to a vertical base. The two girls locked up again, Nikki got the advantage this time as the clock started counting.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

Alexa Bliss was out next. She smiled at the crowd, blowing a handful of sparkles from her hand into the air. She pranced down to the ring and slid in. She quickly went to work on Nikki, wrestling her to the ground. Brie pulled Alexa off of Nikki and the two Bellas went to work on Alexa. They lifted the resident pixie up and dumped her through the second ropes, but the blue highlighted pixie grabbed onto the rope and held on for dear life.

Jim Ross: Close call for Alexa Bliss there, but she's still in the game.

The Bellas attempted to kick her and get her eliminated as the clock started counting again.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

The buzzer went off and out came Eva Marie. The redheaded diva headed down the ramp and crawled into the ring. She and Brie Bella began grappling as Alexa Bliss got to a vertical base and sparred with Nikki Bella.

Jerry Lawler: Looks like the 2 on 1 advantage is over, JR!

Brie grabbed Eva Marie's head and lifted her into a snap vertical suplex. She then rolled into a side headlock and wrenched back on Eva Marie's head. Eva attempted to claw at Brie's face, but Brie held the move steadfast. On the other side of the ring, Nikki whipped Alexa into the ropes, who leapt up and planted the Bella with a huracanrana. Nikki stumbled up groggily, and Alexa took the opportunity to grab her by the hair and toss her out of the ring. Nikki landed outside with a thud, and the referee signaled that she was done.

-- NIKKI BELLA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED BY ALEXA BLISS

Alexa took the opportunity to rest and recoup as Brie picked Eva Marie up and threw her through the ropes. Eva Marie wrapped her leg around the rope, narrowly avoiding falling out. As Brie fought to eliminate the redhead, the clock counted down.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

Eva Marie's partner, Summer Rae, was up next. She made a steady pace down to the ring and stepped in, immediately going after Brie Bella and hitting a bulldog on her to keep her from eliminate Eva. Eva got back in the ring and the two women double teamed the remaining Bella, throwing her to the ground and striking her multiple times. Before she could react however, Alexa Bliss got behind Summer Rae and hit a belly to back suplex on her, sending her neck crashing to the mat.

Jim Ross: Fast paced action in the early going here, we've seen a couple team ups but at the end of the day only one woman can become the Royal Rumble winner.

Eva Marie had Brie Bella almost completely incapacitated after a DDT in the ring. She picked Brie up by her hair and threw her hard through the space between the second and third rope. Brie tumbled out but grabbed onto the ropes at the last minute, her legs dangling precariously close to the floor. With that, Eva had already turned her attention to Summer Rae's plight with Alexa Bliss. The two tag team partners went to work on Bliss as the fans counted down with the clock.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

The crowd popped as Torrie Wilson quickly made her way down the ring, a look of determination in her eyes. She rolled into the ring and made a bee line for Eva Marie, pulling her off of Alexa Bliss and throwing her to the mat. Torrie immediately mounted Eva and rained blows down on her with ferocity.

Jim Ross: Torrie Wilson has come out here a house of fire, she's definitely got a bone to pick with the fiery redhead Eva Marie.

Jerry Lawler: She's got to be careful, though. Eva's tag team partner is still out here and we've already seen them work together for most of the match.

As if on cue, Summer Rae turned around to see Eva in a troublesome position on the mat. She abandoned her fight with Alexa Bliss long enough to head over their and grab a handful of Torrie's hair, getting her off her tag team partner. Torrie kicked Summer Rae in the gut as a counter move, then hit the sitout facebuster she calls the Nose Job! Summer Rae was planted face down on the mat. As she went to eliminate Summer Rae, Eva Marie came from behind and threw her down to the mat, following up with an elbow. The two girls continued scrapping as the clock counted down again.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

There was a huge pop as Trish Stratus sprinted down the ramp. She dove underneath the bottom rope and slid into the ring. She clotheslined Alexa Bliss, then she clotheslined Brie Bella. Summer Rae slowy got herself to a vertical base, wobbly from the Nose Job she received. She turned around just in time to eat a Chick Kick from Trish Stratus, which got a big pop from the crowd.

Jim Ross: Trish Stratus is on fire here!

Summer Rae hit the mat again, motionless. Trish quickly scooped her up and dumped her out to the floor. The referee signaled for an elimination.

Jerry Lawler: Thanks for coming, Summer Rae!

Trish Stratus wasn't done there. Brie Bella charged at her and Trish ducked, grabbing the Bella and hitting a northern lights suplex on her. Alexa Bliss leapt up for a dropkick but Trish slapped it away and Bliss ate the mat. Bliss got up and Trish immediately grabbed her by the back of the neck and threw her through the ropes. There was nothing to hold on to this time, and Alexa crashed and burned outside the ring. The ref called for the elimination.

Eva Marie came from behind Trish and hit her with a lariat to the back of her neck, and Trish hit the mat. Eva Marie, satisfied with her move, taunted Trish and the crowd, eliciting boos from the Houston fans. While being busy peacocking, she didn't notice Torrie Wilson come up from behind her. Wilson gave her a hard push into the ropes, then grabbed her leg to lift her up and dump her out of the ring. Eva Marie landed with an unceremonious thud, the crowd cheering. Eva Marie lost it outside, going into a rage as Torrie politely waved goodbye.

Eva Marie was escorted out as the clock counted down.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

Out next was MsChif, who quickly got into the ring.

Jim Ross: Big series of eliminations here, and we're down to Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Brie Bella, and MsChif, with four more entrants left.

MsChif grabbed Torrie Wilson and the two wrestled down to the mat, MsChif locking in a headlock as Trish and Brie Bella went at it in the corner. Trish hit a splash on Brie and took the boots to her. MsChif being the fresh woman in, picked up Torrie Wilson and hit a backbreaker on her before attempting to throw her out. Torrie held on and continued to cling to the ropes as the clock counted down again.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

Angelina Love headed down to the ring, ready to fight. She rolled into the ring and helped MsChif attempt to eliminated Torrie Wilson. Wilson held on for dear life, and wasn't budging. Angelina then turned her attention to Trish Stratus and Brie Bella. She grabbed Trish Stratus and hit a german suplex on her, causing her neck to bounce off the ring. Brie and Angelina temporarily teamed up, putting the boots to Trish. Brie picked her up and leapt up, hitting a huracanrana that propelled Trish through the ropes. Trish held on to the ropes by her hands, her feet mere inches from the ground. Using her strength, she lifted her legs up and using the ropes as leverage, backflipped herself back into the ring to the delight of the crowd. Brie and Angelina charged her but she turned around and hit them both with a double clothesline. The crowd counted along with the clock.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

The crowd cheered as Natalya made her way down the ramp.

Jim Ross: Here we go! Business is about to pick up here, with Trish Stratus' tag team partner, Natalya!

Natalya and Trish looked at each other for just a second, nodded, and both went to work on Angelina Love. Natalya spun around in a 360 circle and leveled Angelina with a clothesline. She got up just long enough for Trish to grab her head, take her to the corner and hit the Tornado DDT known as Stratusfaction! With the help of Natalya, Trish dumped Angelina Love outside the ring, ending her brief showing in the match.

The crowd cheered as the tag team of Beautiful Dangerous stood tall in the middle of the ring. They taunted the crowd.

Jim Ross: I tell you, King, this could be a real game changer in this match.

Jerry Lawler: Natalya and Trish Stratus are best friends, and they're two of the most talented women in the ring! Who can stop them?

Jerry Lawler could barely finish his sentence before the unthinkable happened. Natalya turned around just in time to eat a picture perfect Chick Kick, right in the chin. The force of the blow sent her backwards and tumbling through the ropes and out to the floor. The crowd was shocked, and their loud reaction conveyed that.

Jim Ross: OH MY GOD! Trish Stratus just eliminated her own tag team partner!

Jerry Lawler: Who saw that coming?!

Jim Ross: Certainly not Natalya. That's four eliminations so far for Trish Stratus, and proof that there are NO friends in the Royal Rumble.

Trish Stratus smirked and shrugged to the crowd, before being blindsided by Torrie Wilson. Torrie and Trish went down to the mat and jockeyed for wrestling advantage as MsChif and Brie Bella squared off. The shocking events had taken their toll on the time clock, and it wound down again.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

Emma was up next, and she headed down the ramp and into the ring. She quickly broke up the wrestling match between Trish and Torrie, creating a small triple threat situation the corner. MsChif picked up Brie Bella and went for a belly to belly, but Brie stuffed the move and hit a hip toss, sending MsChif on her back. MsChif stumbled to her feet and Brie kicked her in the gut, stuffing her between her legs. With an impressive feat of strength, Brie Bella lifted MsChif up and powerbombed her right into the ropes, causing her to fall through the second and third ropes. MsChif crashed out onto the floor and the ref called it.

Jim Ross: Impressive elimination there by Brie Bella, who was the number one entrant in this match.

Jerry Lawler: She's got to be gassed by now, JR. It's tough to last this long in any Royal Rumble, let alone one with the talent of the women that we do this year!

Brie headed over and pulled Emma away from the fight going on between Trish and Torrie, and they locked up as the clock timer counted down for the final time.

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!

The final entrant into the Royal Rumble, Paige, made her way down to the ring, surveying the situation inside. She picked her spot to enter and slid in. Paige quickly went to battle with everyone in the ring, dropping elbows and clotheslines to anyone who moved.

Jerry Lawler: May not be the wisest way to pick your battles. You don't want to pick all of them at once!

Brie and Trish were on the ground, and Torrie and Emma were up. Torrie and Emma turned their focus on Paige and collectively kicked her in the gut. They whipped Paige into the ropes. Paige ducked underneath a double clothesline attempt by the two women and bounced off the opposite side, picking up speed. With momentum on her side, she leapt up and hit a double drop kick on Torrie and Emma, with enough force to send them flying back. Both landed on the second rope and tumbled over them and out to the floor.

Jim Ross: What power shown by Paige here! A double elimination!

Jerry Lawler: And we're down to three!

The three women were up, and circled each other. Trish Stratus, Brie Bella, and Paige were waiting for the right moment. Brie finally lunged forward and got Paige in a standing headlock while Paige struggled to get free. Trish kicked Paige in the gut and got in on the headlock, which turned into a double vertical suplex. Paige landed on her back, hard. Trish followed up by standing up and clotheslining Brie Bella down to the mat, the moment they recovered from double teaming Paige.

Jim Ross: Solid triple threat action here, King. These three ladies are some of the best the EBWF has to offer.

Trish Stratus picked up Paige and went for another clothesline on her, but Paige ducked underneath it, and went for the Paige Turner. Trish escaped quickly and turned Brie around, and kicked her in the back towards Brie Bella. Brie grabbed Paige by the head and hit the Bella Buster on her! Without wasting time, Trish hit a drop kick on Paige to roll her out of the ring and onto the floor.

Before Trish could react, Brie grabbed her leg and dumped her through the second rope! Trish held on, and got to a vertical base on the apron outside. Brie didn't hesitate for a moment, jumping onto the second turnbuckle, and using it as a launch pad for a high missile dropkick that connected squarely with Trish Stratus' chin. Trish flew off the apron and landed on the barricade before hitting the floor. The referee called for the bell as the crowd cheered the impressive finish.

Christy Hemme: Here is your winner of the 2015 Women's Royal Rumble, BRIE BELLA!

Jim Ross: What a match, folks! Brie Bella managed to go the distance and become the challenger for the EBWF Women's Championship at Wrestlemania!

The camera faded to a video package for the next match as Brie Bella celebrated in the ring.

MATCH TWO

"Smackdown" by Thousand Foot Krutch hit and the crowd cheered as Dolph Ziggler made his way to the ring for the next match.

Jim Ross: And here comes Dolph Ziggler, who will challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title! Can "The Showoff" win gold for the first time in his EBWF career?

After Ziggler had entered the ring, "World's Apart" by CFO$ hit and the crowd continued to cheer as the Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, headed to the ring. There was obvious tension between Zayn and Ziggler, and as Zayn entered the ring he got in Ziggler's face, taunting him with the gold. Zayn then handed the Intercontinental Title to the referee, who held it in the air before calling for the bill. Zayn and Ziggler wasted no time getting started and began exchanging right hands back and forth furiously.

Jerry Lawler: There's no love lost between these two superstars, JR!

Ziggler gained the upper hand and he whipped Zayn against the ropes, then hit him with a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Ziggler whipped Zayn into the corner, then ran at him and hit the Stinger splash. Ziggler followed it up with multiple punches, then as Zayn staggered out of the corner, Ziggler took him down with a sitout facebuster. Ziggler hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!

Jim Ross: A strong start from Ziggler!

Ziggler got to his feet and stomped on Zayn several times, then pulled Zayn to his feet and whipped him against the ropes. As Zayn ran back towards him, Ziggler lifted him up for a powerslam, but Zayn countered with a headscissors takedown. Both men got to their feet and Zayn hit Ziggler an arm drag. Ziggler got to his feet and Zayn hit a second arm drag, then hit him with a knee drop. Ziggler got to his feet once more and Zayn hit an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles. Zayn then pulled Ziggler away from the ropes, before climbing the turnbuckle and hitting a split-legged moonsault. Zayn made the cover and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!

Jerry Lawler: Another near fall! This time Sami Zayn gets the two count!

As Zayn got to his feet, chants of "Olé" could be heard from the crowd. Zayn grinned in acknowledgement, then pulled Ziggler to his feet and hit him with a knee to the midsection. Zayn slammed Ziggler's head off the turnbuckle, then punched him in the corner several times. Zayn pulled Ziggler out of the corner and went to whip him against the ropes, but Ziggler reversed it, sending Zayn into the ropes. As Zayn ran back towards him, Ziggler took the champion down with a clothesline. Zayn got back to his feet and Ziggler hit the Famouser! Ziggler hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Both men got to their feet and Ziggler went for another clothesline, but Zayn ducked out of the way, then kicked Ziggler in the gut and set him up for a brainbuster. Zayn lifted Ziggler up, but Ziggler countered with a jumping DDT! As Zayn hit the mat, Ziggler hit him with multiple elbow drops, then climbed to the top rope and hit a jumping elbow drop. Ziggler hooked the leg once more and the referee counted - 1... 2... Zayn kicked out!

Jim Ross: So close to believe it!

Ziggler looked stunned as Zayn kicked out, and as Zayn got to his feet Ziggler jumped on his back, applying a sleeper hold. Zayn fought out of it, flipping Ziggler over and slamming him onto the ring mat. Ziggler got to his feet and Zayn took him down with a leg lariat, then as Ziggler got back to his feet, Zayn hit a spin-out powerbomb. Zayn hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Both men got to their feet and began exchanging right hands back and forth. This time, Zayn was able to gain the upper hand, and after hitting Ziggler with a series of punches in quick succession, he kicked Ziggler in the midsection, then hit a standing tornado DDT. Ziggler got to his feet and Zayn hit a dropkick, then as both men got back to their feet, Zayn whipped Ziggler into the corner. Zayn signalled for the Helluva Kick, and the crowd cheered in anticipation as Zayn ran towards Ziggler... but Ziggler moved out of the way at the last second! Zayn winced in pain as he collided with the turnbuckle, and as Zayn moved out of the corner, Ziggler hit him with a superkick! Zayn looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Ziggler went for the Zig Zag... but Zayn blocked it! Zayn then hit Ziggler with a dropkick, and as both men got back to their feet, Zayn hit a brainbuster DDT. Ziggler struggled back to his feet and Zayn whipped him into the corner once more. Zayn ran at Ziggler, going for the Helluva Kick... and this time, he hit it! Ziggler slumped to the mat and Zayn made the cover. The referee counted - 1... 2... 3!

Jerry Lawler: It's over! Sami Zayn retains the title!

Jim Ross: What a match that was, King! Another impressive victory for young Sami Zayn!

The referee called for the bell and raised Zayn's arm in victory, handing him the championship as he did so. Zayn smiled and held the Intercontinental Title belt up proudly in celebration. Zayn then made his way to the back as Ziggler watched on, looking bitterly disappointed.


MATCH THREE

“Bossy” by Kelis hit the PA as the crowd got to their feet for the arrival of Trish Stratus and Natalya.

Jim Ross: And here come our number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Titles.

Jerry Lawler: Now you know I’m looking forward to this one JR. I can’t get enough divas tonight!

Trish and Natalya emerged from the back as the crowd cheered. They posed at the top of the ramp, then made their way down to the ring. Upon entry, they took a top turnbuckle each and played to the crowd, much to their delight. The cheers died down and turned into a mixed response as “Top of the World” by CFO$ took the place of “Bossy”. Holding their belts in the air, Summer Rae and Eva Marie made their way out, taking in the crowd as they posed on the ramp, showing off their physiques. After entering the ring, they held their belts up again, taunting the challengers.

Jim Ross: Our champions sure seem confident!

Jerry Lawler: They don’t call them ‘Mean Girls’ for nothing, JR.

Summer Rae and Natalya started out with Eva and Trish taking the tag ropes. Summer squared up to Nattie, talking trash and then turning her back on her, bending over and blowing a kiss. Natalya immediately took exception to this, pulling her back up by her hair and slamming her to the mat. Nattie imitated Summer’s taunt as the crowd cheered.

Jim Ross: Natalya teaching Summer Rae not to mess with her right there!

Natalya called for Summer to get to her feet, which she did slowly. From the corner, she hit a three-point stance-like clothesline, and when Summer was upright again, she hit another. Once again, Natalya signalled towards Summer, shouting at her to “get up!”. When she did, Nattie tied up with her and immediately hit a nice northern lights suplex, resulting a pin which got a two count. Natalya went for another tie-up, but Summer ducked it and hit a standing spinning heel kick, taking Natalya to the mat. She immediately went for a pin but only managed a 1-count. When Natalya tried to get to her feet, Summer delivered a kick right to her ribs, knocking her towards the corner where Eva stood. Standing over Nattie, Summer tagged in her partner who immediately went to work on their opponent, hitting stomps all over Nattie’s body.

Jerry Lawler: The champions are keeping Natalya in their corner – very smart!

Eva picked Natalya up and shoved her into the turnbuckle. She tagged in Summer again, who proceeded to use one of her long legs to choke Nattie in the corner. Eva taunted on the mat as the crowd booed. Trish started a clap in the opposite corner, willing her partner on. Being tagged in again, Eva took Natalya from the corner and went to give her a suplex. It was weak, however, as Nattie immediately reversed it and held her from behind. She lifted Eva, but Eva managed to roll forward and reverse it into a pin, which Natalya kicked out of immediately after the two count. Eva then went to irish whip her opponent back into her corner, but Nattie reversed it and threw Eva into Summer’s corner. She immediately rushed towards Eva, colliding with such force that aside from damaging Eva, she managed to knock Summer off of the apron as well – who took a nasty looking bump. Natalya then whipped Eva into her own corner, where she ran and delivered another clothesline into the corner, then tagged in Trish. Straight into the ring, she stepped away from Eva, and then proceeded to hit her with the Stratus Splash. She then hit a running bulldog on Eva. 1…2…kick out! Trish shook her head as she got Eva back on her feet. She took Eva down with a headlock, held it for a while, then still with Eva locked she hit yet another bulldog. She tagged Natalya back in, who immediately went to Eva and grabbed both her legs.

Jim Ross: I think we know what’s coming, King!

The crowd cheered loudly as the famous Neidhart went to lock in the sharpshooter, but Eva managed to kick her away. Confidently getting to her feet, Eva made towards Nattie, but Nattie spun on the spot and hit her with the discus clothesline out of nowhere. The crowd got even louder upon the collision.

Jerry Lawler: I think this is going to be it!

Natalya rolled over for the pin. 1…2… Natalya was pulled out of the ring by Summer Rae! She had been playing possum on the outside, crouched and hidden by the ring apron. Summer then brutally threw Natalya into the barrier at ringside. Downed from the collision, Natalya screamed in pain. Summer picked her up, and threw her into the ring, where Eva immediately went for the cover. 1…2… Trish broke it up!

Jim Ross: Trish looks outraged at the tactics of Summer Rae. She refused to just stand there and let it end that way!

After Trish whipped Eva into a corner, Summer Rae hit the ring and charged towards Trish, who instinctively pulled on the top rope, leading to Summer tumbling over the top and hitting the ringside floor hard once again. Trish got back on the apron and held the tag rope, calling for the tag from Nattie. She was just about to reach Trish’s hand, but was stopped by Eva who grabbed hold of her leg. Hopping, Natalya jumped, turned, and hit Eva with a nice enziguiri. Immediately she popped up and tagged in Trish. Trish got in the ring and played to the crowd, and then began to size Eva up.
Jim Ross: She’s got Eva in her sights. This could be the end!
Eva got to her feet, not knowing what was coming. Trish hit her with the Chick Kick!

Jerry Lawler: She got her!

The crowd went wild as Trish dropped to her knees and went for the pin. Off the apron, Natalya jumped towards the floor and hit Summer with a flying clothesline as the referee went for the count. 1…2….3! The bell rang as Trish got up onto her knees.

Jim Ross: We have new champions! Trish Stratus and Natalya are your new Women’s Tag Team Champions!

Natalya got into the ring with their new belts and handed one to Trish. Trish got to her feet and the two embraced. The referee then raised their arms in victory as Eva rolled out of the ring, collapsing to the floor next to Summer Rae.

Jim Ross: What a match! And what a team Trish and Natalya make!

Natalya and Trish took a turnbuckle each once again and raised their newly won belts in the air as the crowd cheered.

MATCH FOUR

With the Royal Rumble underway the EBWF was now officially on the road to Wrestlemania. A promotional video highlighting Wrestlemania’s past had just played when “Angel on my Shoulder” began to play and Velvet Sky stepped out from the back to make her usual entrance.

Jim Ross: Velvet Sky the challenger tonight, battling AJ Lee for the Women’s Championship.

Jerry Lawler: This is sure to be a great match, JR. I can’t wait!

Velvet had entered the ring and moved to the far corner when the Women’s Champion, AJ Lee’s music filled the arena. The pretty petite woman made her way down the ramp and climbed into the ring, raising her title high before reluctantly handing it over to the referee who once more held it over his head to signal that gold was on the line. Seconds later the music had faded and the bell rang. Lee and Velvet circled one another warily then locked up. For several long moments it appeared as if neither was going to break the hold or gain the advantage then AJ began to stomp on the inner foot of Velvet, forcing Velvet to release her grip on AJ and allowing AJ to follow up with a knee to the gut that caused Velvet to double over and grip her ribcage in pain. AJ gave another knee to Velvet’s face, forcing the girl to stand up straighter and then AJ pulled off an impressive standing dropkick, going for the cover.

One... two... kickout!

Jim Ross: AJ Lee with some impressive footwork here tonight, King.

Jerry Lawler: Fast footwork too!

AJ started to yank Velvet to her feet but then, from out of nowhere, Velvet pulled away, found a little retribution with a swift kick to AJ’s gut, then planted her to the mat with a Snap DDT. The crowd reacted big to the unexpected move as Velvet now went for a cover.

One... two... kickout!

Velvet dropped an elbow then began to stomp on AJ until the referee pulled her off. Velvet stepped back as AJ slowly started to her feet but, as soon as the referee stepped out of her way Velvet charged at AJ again. AJ though saw her coming and ducked down, pulling the top rope down with her. Velvet’s momentum took her over the top rope but she managed to catch herself on the apron.

Jim Ross: Velvet in a dangerous place!

AJ however delivered a hard elbow that sent Velvet to the floor. AJ slid out and the two began to go at it, punching and slapping one another until Velvet shoved AJ hard into the metal steps.

Jerry Lawler: Oh! These women aren’t holding anything back! Poor AJ!

AJ grabbed her shoulder with a cry and a wince of pain. The referee had begun a ten count and it was at seven when Velvet slid AJ under the bottom rope and at nine when Velvet climbed back into the ring herself. Velvet went for the cover but only got a two count. She yanked AJ to her feet and it looked as if she was going for a double underhook sitout facebuster but then at the last second AJ pulled away and shoved Velvet hard. Velvet fell back, bouncing off the ropes. She went for the clothesline but AJ ducked. Velvet turned but before she could do anything AJ had her in a three-quarter facelock and was running to the nearby corner to use the ropes to land a brutal Shiranui. She went for the cover.

One... two... three!

Jim Ross: There it is! AJ Lee retains the Women’s Championship!

Jerry Lawler: Wow! Lee showing some impressive skills here tonight, JR!

AJ’s hand was raised and she began to celebrate in the ring as the Royal Rumble went to an EBWFShop.net commercial.

MATCH FIVE

Jim Ross: And now ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to find out just who will be leaving here tonight the EBWF World Champion!

“Hey Hey, My My” hit and Dean Ambrose was making his way down to the ring to a big pop. He walked casually, as if going out for a cup of coffee, and then he climbed into the ring. Ambrose’s eyes were already on the rampway when Crowe’s music began to play and the champion slowly walked out to heat. The two men locked eyes and neither looked away as Crowe too took his time getting into the ring.

Jerry Lawler: This is gonna be GOOOD, JR.

The bell rang and immediately Ambrose was launching himself at Crowe like a wild animal on attack. Crowe was backed into the corner as the fans went crazy and Ambrose began delivering kick after kick to Crowe’s midsection at a rapid fire pace, wearing him down until Crowe was sitting on the mat and the referee began a count. Ambrose backed off as the ref reached the end of the count, turning to walk away but then immediately doing an about face and launching himself into Crowe again with a brutal flying knee.

Jerry Lawler: Whoa!

Jim Ross: Ambrose full of intensity here!

Jerry Lawler: It’s very smart on Ambrose’s part. Wear down Crowe as quickly and as early in this match as possible.

Jim Ross: These two sure do have some history. They know each other’s strengths and weakness so well...

Inside the ring Ambrose had allowed Crowe to get up but only so he could take him to the mat in a hard bulldog. He went for the early cover but only got a two count. Ambrose roughly yanked Crowe to his feet by his hair but before the ref could even shout a warning Crowe had broken loose and was going to town on Ambrose’s face with rights, forcing Ambrose back and into the ring ropes. Crowe threw him off and caught Ambrose right on the chin with a devastating spinning heel kick that sent Ambrose lying flat. He appeared out as Crowe went for the cover.

One... two... thrKICKOUT!

The arena plunged into a huge pop. Ambrose had kicked out but still seemed rattled from that kick and Crowe looked to take advantage as he gave a series of elbow drops. He forced Ambrose to his feet but only for a moment before he performed a big powerbomb. He looked at Ambrose then ran to the ropes to perform a moonsault but, wisely, Ambrose brought his legs up and Crowe received two sharp knees to the stomach and ribs. The wind knocked out of him Crowe rolled away but Ambrose moved quickly, though obviously in pain, to lock in a Fujiwara armbar on Crowe. Crowe screamed and stretched out his arm but he couldn’t quite reach the ropes. The fans were screaming and yelling and so was Crowe.

Jerry Lawler: This could be it, JR! Crowe could tap!

Jim Ross: Crowe is far from those ropes!

The referee was looking for the submission but slowly, so very slowly, Crowe was inching closer to the ropes. Finally he was just barely able to grab the bottom rope and Ambrose had no choice but to break the hold. The submission maneuver though had weakened Crowe and he was slow getting to his feet. Ambrose stood behind him, stalking him, as the pop grew louder and louder with anticipation. Then Crowe turned and Ambrose looked to go for the reverse piledriver but Crowe wiggled out of it and over Ambrose’s shoulder, pushing him hard from behind and off the ropes to then take him down with a neckbreaker. The crowd booed heavily.

Jim Ross: What a brutal match this has been King!

Jerry Lawler: When the World title is on the line you can’t afford to hold back, that’s for sure.

Crowe went for another cover...

One... two... NO! Ambrose suddenly reversed it with a rollup!

One... two... Crowe reversed with a rollup of his own!

One... two... thrKICKOUT!

The fans broke out into a, “This is awesome,” chant as both men got to their feet, eyeing one another hard, their movements a little more tentative now. Then Crowe launched himself at Ambrose with a bicycle kick out of nowhere, missing Ambrose but managing to nail a glancing blow that was just enough to send Ambrose falling backward, losing his balance, and leaving his back to crash into the corner turnbuckle. Crowe charged headfirst toward Ambrose but Dean used the ropes to pull himself up just in time so he was left sitting on top of the turnbuckle and Crowe whizzed underneath him only to go shoulder first into the steel post. He cried out and turned away, grimacing in pain and clutching his shoulder as, behind him, Ambrose slowly started to stand on top of the turnbuckle, his watchful eyes never leaving Crowe. Then, just as Crowe turned back around Ambrose flung himself off the turnbuckle to nail Crowe with a big cross body.

Jerry Lawler: OH!

Jim Ross: WHAT. A. MATCH! These two are putting each other through hell here tonight!

Indeed the fans were on their feet, all eyes on the ring.

Ambrose went for the pin, but the crowd went into a frenzy when Crowe got yet another rollup. This time was different though as he grabbed a handful of tights. The referee counted.

One…two…

Jim Ross: Are you kidding me?

Three!

Jerry Lawler: There you have it. Solomon Crowe retains tonight at the Royal Rumble!


MATCH SIX


After a hype video, Christy Hemme explained the rules of the 2015 Royal Rumble match. MVP’s theme music hit and he entered the arena, the first participant in the rumble match.

“If Ya Smellllll…”

The crowd came unglued as the Rock sprinted to the ring. Both men battled back and forth, with Rock trying a few times to throw MVP out, but he didn’t manage to get the job done. The clock hit, and after a countdown from the Houston crowd, “Smackdown” hit and Dolph Ziggler made his way to the ring at number 3. Ziggler comes in hot, and lands a clothesline on MVP, throwing him up and over the top rope.

MVP is eliminated.

CJ Parker’s music hit, and he entered the contest 4th, but his time in the ring was short lived when Rock kicked him in the gut, and then whipped him over the top rope.

CJ Parker is eliminated.

The IC Champion Sami Zayn was fifth to enter the ring, and Ziggler immediately began trading punches with him. Ziggler hit a Zig Zag when the countdown clock struck again. It reached zero to bring Syxx in. Rock and Syxx met in the center of the ring, but Ziggler hit Syxx from behind. Rock threw Syxx into the ropes and Zayn took a flying leap at Syxx putting him up and over the ropes to eliminate him.

Syxx is eliminated.

After another ten count, Adam Rose came to the ring without The Rosebuds. Rose laid a big DDT on Ziggler, and then turned to lay out Zayn. He jumped back to his feet, but the Rock took him out with a tackle that shook the ring. The countdown started again and the crowd came unhinged when “Rocket Skates” hit the PA.

Jim Ross: Brian Kendrick!

Jerry Lawler: Brian Kendrick just returned to EBWF!

Kendrick came in big, jumping up onto the second rope, and flipping into the ring onto Rock and Zayn. The crowd was on their feet as the action was getting intense with five men in the ring now. The roar of the crowd grew louder when the countdown played and at the buzzer “Metalingus” hit. Edge came down to the ring and went at Adam Rose. Kendrick had paired off with Zayn and Ziggler with the Rock. The action continued until the next entrant arrived to the ring, and the crowd came alive for Kevin Nash.

Jerry Lawler: And here comes the big man Kevin Nash.

Nash got in the ring, but Ziggler, Zayn and Rose got smart and went straight at Nash. Rock and Edge were going head to head. Edge took a Rock Bottom before the camera panned back to the three men getting Nash over the top rope.

Kevin Nash is eliminated.

Another big man entered the ring when the countdown struck again and Ryback proceeded to the ring. Ryback went straight for Rock, and the crowd started up a “Rocky” chant. The crowd made the ten count. “Get Ready to Fly” brought entrant number twelve.

Jim Ross: AJ Styles! AJ Styles just returned to the EBWF.

Styles slid in under the bottom rope, and he started laying punches into Adam Rose. Edge was trying to put the punches to Ryback and Ziggler dropkicked the Rock on the other side of the ring. The crowd gave another ten count and roared as “Next Big Thing” hit. Brock Lesnar made his way out to the ring, and teased waiting on the outside for a few minutes, but then he jumped in. He went toward Edge and Edge backed off, allowing Lesnar to hit a massive clothesline and knock Ryback out of the ring.

Ryback is eliminated.

Wade Barrett entered the ring at number 14. Barrett hit the ring and immediately went to work on Rock. Rock slowed him down with a big kick and then picked him up for an airplane spin. Rock tried to eliminate Barrett, but Barrett avoided it. The countdown clock hit again. The crowd got amped when “Heart Attack” hit.

Jim Ross: And we’ve just witnessed the arrival of Bret “The Hitman” Hart!

The living EBWF legend got into the ring, but his arrival was overshadowed by Sami Zayn and AJ Styles working together to eliminate Wade Barrett.

Wade Barrett is eliminated.

Hart got in the ring and went for Adam Rose who gave the veteran an elbow to the face. Edge speared Brian Kendrick in the center of the ring and the crowd began a “this is awesome chant” which went interrupted when the countdown started again. Tyler Breeze was the sixteenth entrant into the Royal Rumble matchup. Breeze hurried in under the rope just as Kendrick stumbled to his feet. Breeze charged at Kendrick and Kendrick went over the top.

Brian Kendrick is eliminated.

The back and forth action continued, and when the time elapsed Stardust entered the Rumble Match. Adam Rose laid punches into Stardust while Styles took the fight to Bret Hart. Ziggler came up behind Bret. Styles shifted his attention, and went to trade punches with Ziggler, but Ziggler whipped him off of the ropes. Zayn met Styles with a clothesline, which gave Ziggler enough time to turn his attention back to Bret and eliminate him.

Bret Hart is eliminated.

The crowd was booing the elimination of the Hitman when the countdown brought the arrival of entrant number 18.

Jerry Lawler: Could it be? It’s the charismatic enigma! Jeff Hardy.

Hardy got into the ring, but his presence was short lived as Lesnar met him at the ropes and with his massive arms he managed to eliminated Hardy and Stardust within seconds.

Jeff Hardy is eliminated.
Stardust is eliminated.

Jerry Lawler: Dolph Ziggler, The Rock, Sami Zayn, Adam Rose, Edge, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar are still in the ring here. We’e a little over halfway here. Awaiting the number 19 entrant here.

That entrant was Justin Gabriel and the crowd was on their feet. Nine men were in the ring, and Gabriel went straight for AJ Styles. Sami Zayn distracted Gabriel and hit him with a superplex. The action stayed in the ring without any eliminations when the crowd counted down from ten.

“Go Back to Sleep!”

Jim Ross: There he is!

Houston was pumped up for the returning Randy Orton. Randy got into the ring and immediately made a bee line for Sami Zayn. Randy hit a press and sprung up into punches from Justin Gabriel. Edge came to the rescue, grabbing Gabriel to spin him around and tossing him over the top.

Jerry Lawler: And there goes Justin Gabriel!

Justin Gabriel is eliminated.

Austin Aries entered the ring at number 21. He went toe to toe with Ziggler and every man tried to hold their own until the clock counted down for the number 22 entrant. Chris Sabin slid in under the bottom rope and the matchup became chaotic with ten men in the ring. Brock Lesnar got a hold of Aries and after a moment of back and forth, Aries was eliminated.

Austin Aries is eliminated.

Bo Dallas entered the ring at number 23. The ring began to fill up when Ted DiBiase entered at number 24, and then the final surprise entrant of the night was Sting. The action grew to a fever pitch when The Rock eliminated Chris Sabin.

Chris Sabin is eliminated.

The countdown clock began again and CM Punk entered the ring at number 26. The crowd was growing more and more excited as the final contestants began to enter the ring, and many of their favorites were still left. Edge and Orton worked a double team, and after a moment Bo Dallas and Ted DiBiase had been eliminated.

Bo Dallas is eliminated.
Ted DiBiase is eliminated.

Punk went on the attack against Orton and the two traded blows. Edge got distracted by Sami Zayn, who hit him with a leaping back kick, sending him perilously close to the ropes. AJ Styles and Lesnar were going at it in the corner, and Sting was attempting to eliminate Adam Rose. Adam Rose held his own, refusing to go over the top. The Rock whipped Sting around and clobbered him with a hard right, sending him stumbling back to the ropes. The Rock reared back, took a long look at his hand, and laid in a hard right which sent Sting over the top rope and out to the floor.

Sting was eliminated.

Brock Lesnar had the upper hand on AJ Styles, barreling into him with hard shoulder blocks in the corner. Brock stepped back and charged forward for a harder one, but AJ used the ropes to lift himself up, causing Brock to sail underneath him and connect shoulder first with the ring post. Lesnar crumbled to mat, gripping his shoulder. Deciding that discretion was the better part of valor, AJ Styles found himself a new opponent to tangle with. He blind sided CM Punk who had gotten into a shuffle with Zayn. Styles clubbed him to the mat with an axehandle smash, then picked him up and sent him into the corner. It was at that point that the buzzer hit and the crowd went nuts.

Wes Ikeda sprinted down the ramp at number 27, diving into the ring headfirst and going right after Styles. AJ and Wes clobbered each other with hard rights, exchanging a flurry of punches with unrelenting velocity. The two crashed to the mat, rolling around and exchanging lefts and rights. Punk took the opportunity to go for a flying knee in the corner on Sami Zayn, but Zayn caught him and catapulted him upwards, launching him clear over the ring post and crashing hard on the mat outside.

CM Punk was eliminated.

Zayn looked at his handiwork just a millisecond to long, and got caught with a zig-zag by Dolph Ziggler. Ziegler tried to throw him over the top rope, but Zayn had just enough presence of mind to grab onto the ropes just as he was tumbling over.

Jim Ross: High drama in this match so far, every man here has demonstrated their will to win!

Wes picked up AJ Styles for the Its Time to Go, but AJ wriggled out of it and leapt up, connecting with a mean looking Pele kick, sending Wes to the mat. Styles smirked and picked up the former Chairman, attempting to eliminate him early. Wes fought back with several hard rights, and when he had made some distance between him and AJ, he jumped onto the second turnbuckle and used it to connect a springboard drop kick onto the phenomenal one. AJ slowly got up, and Wes measured him. He went back to the turnbuckle, jumping onto the corner and moonsaulted in AJ's direction. Out of nowhere, Brock Lesnar pushed AJ out of the way and caught Wes Ikeda in mid air, using his freakish strength to lift him into his shoulders. With a look of vile ferocity, Lesnar connected with a picture perfect F5 onto the mat, laying Ikeda out.

Jim Ross: Good God Almighty! Brock Lesnar is inhuman!

Ikeda was motionless on the mat as Lesnar got sidetracked by the Rock, who laid into him with a series of hard punches. The Rock then hit a DDT on the Beast Incarnate. The countdown timer went off and Trent? ran into the ring. He saw Ikeda motionless on the mat, and lifted him up to try and eliminate him. Ikeda offered little resistance initially. Just when Trent had Ikeda almost completely over the ropes, Wes' legs wrapped around Trent's neck, and Ikeda huracanrana'd him out of the ring.

Trent was eliminated.

Wes groggily rolled back into the ring, still dazed from that F5. The Rock and Brock Lesnar were fighting back and forth, Lesnar now having the advantage as he tried to lock in a Kimura Lock. Randy Orton traded blows with Adam Rose, and Sami Zayn found himself in a elimination predicament with Edge. Edge had him halfway over the ropes, but Zayn kicked him in the jaw and bought himself some space.

The countdown timer went off and Lance Storm made his way into the ring. He immediately connected with a Superkick on Edge, then another Superkick on Randy Orton. Tyler Breeze went for the Beauty Shot on Lance Storm, but Lance ducked underneath it. Breeze turned right around into a Superkick.

Jim Ross: Lance Storm is cleaning house here.

Jerry Lawler: But he's got to eliminate people! He can't just superkick their face off!

Ziegler grappled up with Lance and the two jockeyed for position. Orton, Edge, and Tyler Breeze were all on the mat as Wes was using the ring ropes for leverage. AJ Styles was occupied fighting Sami Zayn now.

The countdown timer went off for the final time in the match, and Chris Jericho ran out to the ring, sliding in and immediately going after Wes Ikeda. Lesnar pushed the Rock off of him and went after Orton. He picked Orton up and threw him into the corner, landing hard shoulder blocks into the Silent Assassins midsection. Orton kicked Lesnar off and leapt up for an RKO, but Brock caught him in mid air, and unceremoniously dumped him out of the ring and onto the floor.

Randy Orton was eliminated.

The ring now had 11 people in it, and they were all paired off for the most part in brawls. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm were now teaming up on Wes Ikeda, laying stomps in on the former chairman. Lance picked up Wes for and Jericho measured him up for a Codebreaker. Out of nowhere, Chris Jericho was speared out of his boots by Edge, which caused the Houston crowd to pop hard. Wes turned around and picked up Lance Storm, hitting the Its Time to Go. Edge slinked back into the corner, measuring Chris Jericho up for another spear, the crowd getting into it. Before he could react however, Sami Zayn charged forward, connecting with the Helluva kick on Edge. Edge stumbled out of the corner and AJ Styles grabbed him by the back and thew him over the top ropes. Edge tumbled over but held on by one leg. Jericho was still wobbly, and Wes whipped him into the ropes and clotheslined him over the top, causing him to spill out onto the mat below.

Chris Jericho was eliminated.

Wes Ikeda saw Edge recouping on the apron, and quickly leapt up, connecting with a missile dropkick that finished the job.

Edge was eliminated.

Jim Ross: We're over 2/3 done with this Royal Rumble folks, only 9 contestants remain.

Lance got up and clotheslined Wes down to the mat. Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze we're hitting each other with rights and lefts. Tyler Breeze ran off the ropes and hit a drop kick to Dolph's knee. Breeze then followed up with a legdrop. Tyler threw Dolph into the ropes and clotheslined him over, but Dolph landed on his feet on the apron. Breeze leapt up and went for the Beauty Shot to finish him off, but Dolph tucked and pulled the rope down, causing Breeze to sail over the top rope and crash and burn on the mat.

Tyler Breeze was eliminated.

Jerry Lawler: Somehow this Royal Rumble is a bit less.. pretty.

Jim Ross: Oh hush.

Adam Rose was in a fight with AJ Styles, and Lesnar was occupied with the Rock. Adam Rose lifted up AJ and hit a picture perfect spinebuster. He slowly dragged AJ to his feet, but AJ caught him sleeping and whipped around, flipping into a Pele kick that connected with Rose's skull. Adam Rose stumbled back into the ropes, but AJ didn't hesitate, he clotheslined Adam out for the elimination.

Adam Rose was eliminated.

Wes Ikeda was struggling with Lance, who was attempting to turn him over into a sharp shooter. He finally was able to twist his body around and escape the painful submission hold. Using the ropes to help himself up, He looked up just in time to see Lance go for a Superkick. He dropped to the mat and pulled the rope down, crotching Lance Storm on the top rope. He followed up with a quick jump to the top turnbuckle, hitting a missile drop kick to Lance's chin, sending him over the rope and out to the floor.

Lance Storm was eliminated. He turned around and saw Lance argue with the referee. Brock Lesnar came up behind Wes and wrapped his arms around him, lifting him up into a German suplex. Wes adjusted his weight and managed to seat himself on Brock's shoulders in an electric chair position. From there he leapt forward, huracanrana'ing Brock Lesnar over the top rope. The crowd went absolutely berserk when Lesnar got eliminated.

Brock Lesnar was eliminated.

Jim Ross: Wes Ikeda is on fire here!

On the other side of the ring, the Rock had managed to connect with a Rock Bottom on Sami Zayn. He picked Zayn up and lined him up, hitting a hard right hand that propelled him over the top rope.

Sami Zayn was eliminated.

Jim Ross: We're down to our final four!

The four remaining combatants eyed each other as they circled, the anticipation growing in the crowd. Styles and Wes squared off as Ziggler and the Rock locked horns. AJ Styles and Wes Ikeda jockeyed for position, but Wes threw AJ into the ropes, attempting to catch him for an Its Time to Go, but AJ had other plans. He kicked Wes in the gut and went for the Styles Clash, but Wes prevented him from lifting him up. Wes adjusted his weight and stood up, propelling AJ over him and onto his back. AJ winced in pain, but he got back up to continue the fight. He put Wes down to the mat with a lariat. Not attempting to waste any time, AJ grabbed Wes and threw him over the ropes. Wes had a vine like grip on the ropes however, and did not let go. AJ kicked at Wes' hands, hit several right hands on him, and tried everything he could to loosen Wes' grip from the ropes so he could eliminate him. The Rock suddenly came over from his scuffle with Ziggler, and grabbed AJ by ankles, flipping him over the top rope. AJ didn't have enough time to grab the ropes and fell over them, landing outside.

AJ Styles was eliminated.

Wes freed himself from his deathgrip on the ropes, and walked right into a Rock Bottom by the Rock. The Rock picked Wes up to eliminated him, but he was blindsided by a Zig-Zag by Dolph Ziggler. The crowd went nuts for the final exchange between the final three. Ziegler and the Rock grappled up in the center of the ring, and the Rock locked in a side headlock. Ziggler attempted to break it, but the Rock was to strong. Ziggler pushed the Rock towards the ropes, and the Rock bounced off of them, picking up speed. when the Rock bounced off the other ropes, Wes was there to pull down on them with all of his strength, causing the Rock to tumble over the ropes and spectacularly crash outside the ring.

The Rock was eliminated.

Wes didn't waste any time, going for a lariat on Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler ducked underneath, and leapt up for another Zig Zag. Wes grabbed the rope to keep his stance locked in. Wes kicked Dolph in the gut and hit a powerbomb, slowing down his momentum. Wes ran at the ropes, jumping and spring boarding off the second rope, launching into a splash that hit his opponent dead on. Wes, full of momentum, quickly mounted the top turnbuckle, going high risk. Dolph sprang up from the mat and connected with a sickening Superkick that made a loud smacking noise as it connected with Wes' jaw. Wes slumped down into a seated position on the turnbuckle, his eyes glazed over. Dolph didn't hesitate for a second. He hit a second Superkick with more force than the first, which hit it's mark. The force of the blow was enough to cause Wes to slump off the top turnbuckle and crash onto the mat outside the ring.

Wes Ikeda was eliminated.

Jim Ross: Dolph Ziggler has done it!

The referee called for the bell and raised Dolph Ziggler's hand in victory! Ziggler had an exhausted look of elation on his features. He mounted the turnbuckle , still breathing heavily, and celebrated.

Jim Ross: We have our 2015 Royal Rumble winner! Dolph Ziggler's going on to Wrestlemania to face the champion in the main event! What a Royal Rumble, folks! One for the record books!
