Changing Fortunes

OOC: Apologies for being very poor with showings, everything has been mental these last couple months. On the plus side I now have a proper job at AECOM and I work 6 days a week between AECOM and EB Games. Once again sorry to all for the previous months, things will change.
Ted DiBiase stood backstage prior to his match with Austin Aries. He was dressed in his ring gear and he was with Renee Young who would be interviewing him.
Renee Young: Welcome everybody to Warfare live in Austin, Texas. With me at this time is Ted DiBiase who is set to take on Austin Aries.
Ted didn't acknowledge Renee and just looked forward at the camera. The look on his face was not one of excitement or happiness.
Renee Young: After a few weeks of some tough losses you're looking to bounce back against Aries tonight. How do you rate your chances against the self proclaimed "Greatest Man That Ever Lived"?
Ted Jr: I'll be the first to admit that the last couple of months have been horrendous. I haven't performed and I know it. I looked at what I accomplished and took it for granted and everyone has passed me by. It was pathetic. But that's the end of it. The Royal Rumble marked the beginning of the Road to Wrestlemania and it will be a time where everybody steps up to see who can reach the top of that card. I want to be on Wrestlemania and I want to be in a high profile match and the only way to do that is to stand out. So tonight Aries will be made an example of what Ted DiBiase can really do.
Renee Young: Is it easy to just snap out of a losing streak and go back to your former ways?
Ted Jr: Nothing is ever easy Renee, but if history serves me correctly I was in a slump a few years ago, I took some time to recharge the batteries before having an 11 month championship reign. That is what I plan on doing. I plan on getting back to winning matches. Getting back to winning championships and ultimately reaching for that World Championship.
Renee Young: One of the talking points from the Royal Rumble, apart from Dolph Ziggler winning the Rumble match, was the return of AJ Styles. What are your thoughts on his return?
Ted Jr: It's another high calibre wrestler back in the locker room, but if he gets in my way I'll drop him like everyone else. I'm not going to sit and watch him hog MY spotlight. I'm the one that's been here for 6 years, no packing my bag and going to Japan because I couldn't get my way, I stayed here through the highs and lows.
Renee Young: Last time AJ was in EBWF you were aligned with him and The Miz as you took over Warfare for the night. Could a reunion be in the works again?
Ted Jr: No. The next time we're in the ring together we'll be beating the hell out of each other. As far as I'm concerned he's another person standing in my way of Wrestlemania.
Renee Young: Any final words for Austin Aries tonight?
Ted Jr: I've got no more words for him. Just watch what happens when I'm out there.
As Ted finished his sentence he moved off to walk out for his match. As he left, Daniel Bryan walked past him to Renee to shoot a promo for an upcoming event. Ted stopped for a moment before turning back and charging at Bryan and knocking him to the ground. Renee got out of the way quickly as Ted started kicking Bryan on the ground while the cameras continued to roll. Ted lifted Daniel Bryan to his feet and dragged him towards one of the large storage containers containing AV gear. Ted grabbed Bryan and hit him with Dream Street right onto the corner of the container and Daniel grimaced in pain and fell to the floor. Ted walked back to Renee who was now back in position.
Ted Jr: Don't miss this.
Daniel was sitting on the ground leaning on the storage container for support. Ted charged at him and struck him with a sickening knee to the temple. Daniel Bryan fell to the floor, unconscious from the hit. Ted walked away as crew members and trainers helped Bryan.
The Road to Wrestlemania had officially commenced and everyone was fighting for limited spots to appear at Wrestlemania. Ted was going to do everything in his power to make it there, even if he had to take out the competition.
