It all happened in a blink a flash the time it took to look back AJ had suffered defeat at the hands of Sasha Banks which mean Sasha was the new champions, which meant power shifted from the hands of Valkyrie to the hands of EBWF’s self-proclaimed mean girls.

AJ Lee: All good things must come to an end but never expected my reign as champion to be such a short tenure. *sigh* I can’t let that take my focus off the opportunity that is coming at Warfare.

AJ turns her focus off of the mirror that is in her hotel room and turns to look at Britani who is sitting cross legged on the bed in her room.

Britani Knight: I wouldn’t dwell on that too much you will get another chance. Right now we have an opportunity or well you have an opportunity to get us tag championship contendership.

AJ looks close at the young girl sitting in front of her. Paige has grown so much as a person and a performer in the past year. AJ glances over her shoulder at her reflection and takes a moment to reflect back on the roller coaster of a year she had with all the ups and downs.

AJ Lee: I probably don’t say this enough but I am proud to see the how much you have grown over the past year and I want to win this match to give you that title opportunity you deserve. When you first came back a year ago you were a young girl kinda just floating around like a feather. It reminded me of that scene from Forrest Gump at the end where the wind was blowing the feather.

AJ gives a slight chuckle at the thought of comparing Paige to a feather.


AJ Lee: But you got settled down you became an adult and did what I asked you to do as my partner and have my back. Sure I didn’t always hold up my end of the bargain but Britani it changes Monday in the match to determine number one contendership for the tag titles.

AJ tosses Britani the phone that shows the match listing for the show St. Louis.

AJ Lee: Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem with Tinkerbell but all the magic, fairy dust, and glimmer, isn’t going to help her win that match so her and Emma have a shot at the tag titles. They will have their time but right now it’s our time to shine as a tag team.

The other hand we have LuFisto, no one wants to see her or Awesome Kong as tag team Champs or even contenders. I know I don’t at least both of them have failed to impress me since their debut her. This is where the big girls play and they haven’t managed to prove they deserve to perform among the best of us.

Britani Knight: Well she did beat me in her debut.
AJ Lee: And that was complete and utter bullshit that you got penciled to put her over in her debut she doesn’t even belong here in the EBWF.

Britani Knight: I guess I have been pretty much a failure since I lost to Brie Bella at Fallout. I’m not done with Brie but right now I just want focus hopefully on going to Wrestlemania in the tag team title match.

AJ Lee: Well Britani better get your gear ready for Wrestlemania cause Team Magically Awesome, LuFisto, Nor the mean girls are going we will be in those spots courtesy of a Black Widow bite from yours truly.

AJ gives Paige a fist bump signaling they are on the same page so to speak.

Good work here Bro. I think you've come a long way with AJ and Paige. I'm use to you having a WNBA team but I'm glad you've found some characters you like and are accomplishing more things with them. Keep it up man!
