(OOC - First Promo here for EBWF. I hope I don't disappoint! Also, If I didn't have this sudden impulse to check the website, I probably wouldn't have known someone else used Christian before, and took quite a big part in this. So yeah, That's going to take as a factor in the Promo.)
Backstage. Wrestlemania 14. People were leaving, and items were being taken down around it all.
Todd Grisham stood in the interview area. Likely pondering the fact that WM14 was actually over, and how the company had gotten very far in the years, with a ton of success. It must've felt great for whoever has been on the EBWF roster for more than at least 3 years, to still be here, to this day.
A hooded figure walks up to Todd from behind, and pokes his shoulder slightly, causing Todd's attention to turn to whoever this could be, as he turned around.
Nobody spoke for moments on end, until the hooded figure broke the short silence.
???: Is the camera rolling?
Todd: Uhh... I wouldn't think so... But who knows? Right?
The mysterious man took a deep breath of annoyance, and looked down to the ground.
???: Well, Could you check for me?
Todd slowly nods, still a bit curious as to who the man could be, and turns toward the camera. A red light flashing indicates that the camera is still on, and possibly in use.
Todd: Yes, It is.
Todd turns back around, and his eyes widen as he sees the mysterious man with a knife. With his free hand, the hooded figure grabs his hood and flips it back, revealing a man in his early 40's, with a dirty blonde beard, and short blonde hair.
He pulls his knife-held hand back and as Todd shoves his eyes closed tight, shoves it into him. Nothing happens. He pulls back slowly, to reveal it as a plastic, fake knife, in which shoved into the handle upon contact.
Todd slowly opens his eyes, and stares at the toy knife pushing in and out of the handle. He sighs in relief.
The mysterious man stifles out a short laugh.
???: I would never stab you, Todd. Now. Grab a mic.
Todd nods and walks over to a nearby table, which used to have food on it, but was cleared away of everything except for the single mic. He picks it up and moves back to the man.
???: Face the camera, and talk.
Todd looks at the camera.
Todd: Hello, EBWF Universe... I'm Todd Grisham, and joining me at this time is... Uh...
Todd looks at Christian expectantly.
???: Christian.
Todd turns back toward the camera, and is about to talk, but nothing comes out, as he realizes just exactly who this Christian is.
Todd: Christian?!
Christian: The one and only.
Todd: When did you return?!
Christian raises an eyebrow slightly.
Christian: You haven't heard?
Todd: Heard what?
Christian: I am the newest registered member of the EBWF. Next Warfare I'm scheduled in a tag team match, with Justin Gabriel. Against the new EBWF Champ, Dolph Ziggler, And the man that failed to capture the #1 contenders spot for the Path to Glory Championship, Syxx.
Todd still can't seem to get it through himself that Christian is back. He doesn't say a word.
Christian: Hello?
The C man waves his hand in front of Todd's face.
Christian: Wow... You're really out of it, man.
He grabs Todd's shoulders and wildly shakes the man. Still no response. He rolls his eyes and grabs the mic out of Todd's hand.
Christian: Yeah, It's me! I'm back here in the EBWF, For another successful roundabout. Too surprised to speak? Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it. Like I said before, On Warfare, I go up against EBWF Champion Dolph Ziggler, and Syyx, With tag team partner Justin Gabriel.
Christian: Should be easy enough, right? Yeah, I'm a little older. But no one is ever too old to wrestle! I've started a new thing, Where I keep interest on one topic for a little bit, and shift over, when I'm on the mic.
Christian: So, Let's start with my partner, Justin Gabriel. Not much to say about him. Talented kid, I know that's for sure. He's got a nice chick. MmmHmm, Should be a good partner. We're gonna whoop us a Champ and a failed contender on Monday boy, I can assure you that much.
Christian: Next up, Syxx. He was one half of the EBWF Tag Champs, With Jeff Hardy... That looks like pretty much it. I have no doubt he could be a well rounded competitor in the ring. Buuuut... He's still gonna lose, because of me and Gabriel. Good luck buddy boy, y'all be needin it come Monday.
Christian: Last but not least... We got the new EBWF Champion, Dolph Ziggler. He was also the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble. Cute. Listen here bud, you may think you'll have it easy on Warfare. But trust me, you will be getting not only the biggest match of your life, but one of your worst losses as well. Cause you're going up against Justin Gabriel, and me. Mainly, you're going up against me. The 8x EBWF World Champion. The 3x EBWF Intercontinental champion. The 5x EBWF Tag Team Champion. And the 2006 Royal Rumble Winner.
Christian: 2003 Lightweight of the year. 2006 World Champion of the year. 2x Heel of the year, 2 years in a row, 2005 and 2006!
Christian: I could name so many more accomplishments, but then we would be here all night.
Christian: Me and Justin Gabriel will win on Warfare, Mark my words. Dolph and Syxx will get what's coming to them. And soon, I may even contest Dolph for the World Championship.
Christian: Now, I'm leaving. Good luck Dolphie and SyxxToMyStomaxx. I'll see you again soon.
Christian shoves the microphone into the hand of a still speechless Todd Grisham, and puts on his hood back on, before walking off into the darkness of the hall.
