The Rock had had an interesting ride when it came to his career both in Sports Entertainment, and entertainment in general. He was one of the most recognizable faces in the world and truly someone who had reached a level of fame that some would only dream of. The Rock in truth, did not need professional wrestling to launch his stardom, this was something he had already earned over the course of the years. However, wrestling quite literally, was in his blood. He was a third generation superstar, and though he worked hard at everything in his life that he did, The Rock had put more blood, sweat, and tears into professional wrestling than perhaps any other endeavor in his life. He lived for it, and that is what brought him back to the EBWF full time. It wasn't always an easy road, but as of late The Rock seemed to be fully cementing his feet back into the business and currently held one of the companies most coveted championships in the Path To Glory Title. Especially most recently with it's new rule of being able to cash it in for a World Championship match at one of EBWF's 4 major events. The man that would keep The Rock from doing just that, was no stranger to the Path To Glory Championship as he was the longest reigning champion with that very title, in the era before the Title's importance changed. Ted DiBiase, was a man who had quickly become acquainted with the Rock since his return, with little success when it came to wins and losses. However, DiBiase was seemingly obsessed with The Rock and defeating him was CLEARLY his top priority, this fact alone made DiBiase somebody that The Rock would not take lightly. The two of them in recent weeks have gone back and forth getting the better of each other, time would tell who would have the last laugh at Death Before Dishonor.

The scene opened up to the EBWF logo, as the scene faded in a caption that read "Tuesday" was seen in the upper left corner of the screen. We were inside the back of a limo. In the camera's plain view was The Rock. He wore a nice black fitted t-shirt, and gray jeans. The EBWF Path To Glory Championship sat next to The Rock. He donned a pair of sunglasses as well. He had a very serious look on his face as he began to speak.

The Rock: Throughout the course of last 19 years in this business, The Rock has been through it all. He has had countless matches, won championships, got busted open, busted guys open, he's talked the talk, he's walked the walk, all working to achieve the cut and dry, plain and simple, goal of being... the best. The Rock has had many a limo ride, many a plane ride, and back before some of this glitz and glamor many a car ride, where The Rock has pondered. He's pondered just what it was going to take to become the greatest this business had ever seen. As a result of these thinking sessions, The Rock has carefully constructed a career. A career that has left The Rock in many circles as being thought of as someone who has already achieved that very goal. He's electrified audiences, he's done everything that he's set out to do.. except one thing.

The Rock paused for a moment.

The Rock: That one thing that drives The Rock, that eats at The Rock, the one thing that STILL after 19 years.. hell a LIFETIME.. in this business gets The Rock out of bed is the desire, the want, the need, to become EBWF World Heavyweight.. Champion. The SECOND The Rock stepped on this scene he earned the right to do just that, when he went one on one with Solomon Crowe, the result.. not what The Rock was hoping for. The result, led The Rock to realize.. to realize that rising to the top of this business was not going to be as easy as he originally thought. So The Rock, as he always does, refocused. He got back into the gym, he got back to basics, and what this led to.. was a transformation. A transformation that brought the world the reemergence of the jabroni beating.. la la la la la.. pie eating.. trail blazin.. eye brow raisin.. never gonna flop.. just can't stop.. People's Champ.. THE ROCK! It brought back an aggression, a dedication, a determination, that the world had not seen out of the great one in quite sometime. It brought back The Rock in his truest form. It brought back a man that had one mission, and that mission was to take names and whoop each and every persons candy ass who stood in his way of reaching that FINAL goal of reaching the top of the mountain in the EBWF.. and whoop candy ass The Rock did, en route to becoming EBWF Path To Glory Champion.

The Rock locked down at his title and smiled.

The Rock: Even now just looking at this title, it brings a smile to The Rock's face, because this title right here is The Rock's ticket.. it's The Rock's ticket to the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship. Yeah it's exactly the title that The Rock needed to win in order to earn himself another shot at the games richest prizeee.. so it looks as though The Rock is headed straight towards a happy ending.. everyone's all smiles.. The Rock will win the EBWF Championship.. and his legendary career will be complete.. what can go wrong?

The Rock's smile quickly turned to a serious look.

The Rock: What could but WON'T go wrong is a little roody poo jabroni named Ted DiBiase who's determined, obsessed, with getting in The Rock's way. The Rock and Ted DiBiase have been no strangers to each other since The Rock returned to EBWF.. the result.. as The Rock has said is The Rock quite simply returning his boot to one of it's favorite places.. Ted DiBiases candy ass.. on more than one occasion. YET, this jabroni refuses to quit.. he refuses to just go and hide.. he refuses to do what people say is his MO and that is to run back to his daddy bury his head in Ted Senior's arm pit, sobbing, crying, weeping, blowing his nose in his money.. Trying to compose himself but failing miserably..

The Rock mocked Ted, speaking as if he was talking through tears.

The Rock: It's just.. (sniff) It's just not fair.. (sniff sniff) no matter how hard I try.. no matter how hard I try.. (sniff) I just.. I just can't beat anybody that's any good. (Sniff) I mean I can beat nobodies just fine.. but as soon as I get put into the ring with guys that are relevant and successful.. I end up getting brutalized.. (sniff sniff) Why can't I ever do anything right!? WHY!!!?

The Rock went back to his normal voice.

The Rock: To which Ted Senior would usually come back with..

The Rock did a bellowing baritone voice. Speaking as if he was Ted Sr.

The Rock: Well Ted.. have you stopped to consider.. that it's quite possibly because you.. well.. how do I put this.... absolutely suck?

The Rock smiled.

The Rock: But not this time.. you see this time Ted has not gone anywhere.. after being knocked down except come right back into The Rock's face wanting more. He has not faltered in his wanting a piece of The Rock, despite The Rock absolutely having his way with Ted DiBiase.. this jabroni continues to want to go ONE.. on.. ONE with The Great One. Which The Rock can respect.. and hell The Rock can even admire Ted a little bit for his determination, his perseverance, but though your persistence may get you looked at in a little bit more of a Nobel light, it's also going to get your ass a little bit more kicked. It's going to get you hurt, Ted. You see a man can get hit in the head with a baseball bat, get back up and ask the hitter to do it again.. but the result is going to be the same. To which The Rock says... batter up.. but this time.. this time Ted, The Rock is a little bit more determined as well. The Rock is going to be a little bit more persistent himself.. in the sense that The Rock will be determined that after Death Before Dishonor, you will never... AND THE ROCK MEANS... ever want to face The Rock again. The Rock IS.. the EBWF Path To Glory Champion.. and after this Sunday The Rock will STILL BE.. the EBWF Path To Glory Champion.. and it doesn't matter how determined or persistent you are come this Sunday.. because your monkey ass, simply put belongs.... To The Rock.

The Rock cocked an eyebrow as the scene faded to black. The scene reopened this time a caption appeared in the upper left hand corner that read "Thursday". We were at the University of Miami. The camera quickly located The Rock, who wore a gray University of Miami Sleeveless shirt and black nike shorts. The shirt was soaked in sweat, as it looked as though The Rock had just finished a workout. He was seen talking to a man who let The Rock enter a door that read "Players and Coaches only" The Rock was quickly followed by the camera who followed The Rock past commemorations of past championships won by the U. The Rock sat down in the locker room on a bench and grabbed a total to dab the sweat off of his head. The Rock looked into the camera and began to speak.

The Rock: To all the Rock's fans watching this, this is a special place to the People's Champion. It is with honor that The Rock says.. finally.. The Rock has come back... to the U. You see whenever The Rock thinks about his journey, whenever The Rock reflects of where he's come from and where he's going.. he thinks of the University of Miami. He thinks of all the days coming into this locker room, soaked in sweat just like he is right now after 2-3 hours of hard work. He thinks of all the times The Rock thought he had nothing left to give.. and then DID anyway. You see The Rock may have money now, he may ride in limos, wear expensive sunglasses and suits, he may be an international superstar, but The Rock GOT there through nothing but old fashioned hard work.. he got there through nothing but the old fashioned method of busting his ASS day in and day out. This is something that even after all the accolades The Rock CONTINUES to do on a day to day basis. The Rock works until he's exhausted and then he works some more. It's simply put the only way he knows how to do things, and a lot of these ideals and values The Rock picked up from being right here playing football at this University. In a lot of ways The Rock's "Path To Glory" started right here at the U. Before The Rock.. was The Rock.. he was Dwayne Johnson a kid just trying to find his way.. just trying to do the right things.. just trying to scratch and claw to make something of himself.. fast forward over 20 years and here... we are. You see if The Rock's opponent Ted DiBiase were to tell you his story, there would certainly be some similarities. We both grew up in this business, we both had family members who excelled and thrived in it. However, the difference between The Rock and Ted DiBiase aside from the physique, talent, good looks, and the fact that The Rock is entertaining and Ted DiBiase makes everybody who listens to him talk want to bash their own brains in, is that The Rock embraced the process on his way to the top. The Rock embraced everything that it takes to make a name for yourself in the business of not only Sports Entertainment, but entertainment in general.. and because of that The Rock became a global star.. Ted DiBiase did NOT embrace the process.

The Rock shook his head.

The Rock: Ted DiBiase is your typical daddy's boy, he's your typical spoiled brat punk bitch who screamed and cried, and carried on until he got his way. All of his life, at the grocery store.

The Rock mocked Ted in that same whiny tone.

The Rock: DADDY I WANT COOKIES.

Normal voice.

The Rock: ..and he got cookies. At the mall..

Whiny voice.

The Rock: Daddy I want a bra!

Ted Sr. baritone; The Rock looked horrified.

The Rock: What did you just say you SICK FREAK?!

Whiny voice.

The Rock: I said I want a spa! I want a hot tub for our house.. hot tub, hot tub, hot tub!

Normal Voice.

The Rock: .. and he got the hot tub.. for his career..

Whiny voice.

The Rock: Daddy I want to be a wrestler! Can I ? Can I? Can I?

Ted Sr. baritone.

The Rock: You promise never to ask for another bra?

Whiny voice.

The Rock: It was a spa! I promise though I promise!

Normal voice.

The Rock:.. and he became a wrestler. You see people look at The Rock and they look at you Ted DiBiase, and though we both grew up in this business they don't look at us the same way. They don't put us in the same category. Though you may have had some success here, you may have won a couple of matches that nobody remembers because all you seem to do lately is lose, they don't look at you like they look at The Rock, Ted. When they see The Rock they see the toughness, they see the fight, they see a guy who has put every ounce of sweat, every drop of blood, that he has in his being, to become a success. They see a guy who's EARNED it. When they look at you Ted, they see a sniveling, snot nosed, cry baby, whom all the scowling, all the threats, all the sneak attacks and stealing of The Rock's title, will never be looked at or thought of as a guy who earned anything except The Rock tearing him limb by limb.. and no matter how much he may scream, cry and carry on, no matter how hard you try to avoid that fate, that is EXACTLY what is going to happen this Sunday at Death Before Dishonor. You see Ted DiBiase, The Rock knows your game, he knows your schtick. He knows that by your antics over the past couple of weeks that your trying to intimidate The Rock, trying to get in the head of The Rock, but as you saw last week if you try and make a statement to The Rock.. you simply put need to TALK LOUDER.. because if your "statement" doesn't put The Rock out of commission he is just going to come back and kick your candy ass until the only statement you are making is "I need more applesauce through my straw." When you're laying up in a hospital bed!

The Rock looked extremely focused as he spoke into the camera. Sweat was still dripping from his forehead. Part from the work out, and part from how intense he was getting in this promo.


The Rock: Ted, as The Rock sits here in an important spot in his own "Path To Glory" in his own "Path To Success" he refuses to be a chapter in yours. He refuses to be the guy whom you beat to start to turn things around in an otherwise floundering career. The Rock knows about you Ted, he knows your story. He knows that for a blink of an eye, you had your little run. You had your time to shine with a group called the Trilogy. The 3 of you jabroni's defied all logic and actually had a small window of success. The Rock also knows that since that window closed, you have struggled in a major way to do anything but drift around in irrelevance. So The Rock gets it, he understands why you are so obsessed with him. He understands why seeing The Rock back in the EBWF, winning, stealing the spotlight, hoisting championships could drive you absolutely crazy. Here you are, wanting nothing more than to matter again like you did for that moment in time.. failing... and in walks The Rock.. returning to the EBWF.. and instantly grabbing it by the balls. Somewhere Ted SR. just said..

Ted Sr. baritone.

The Rock: Relax JR.. it's just a metaphor.. there will be no BALL GRABBING in this house.. you promised that the last time.. would be the LAST TIME.

The Rock smiled. He went back to his normal voice.

The Rock: So the Rock gets why you would be upset, he gets why you would hate The Rock. Though the Rock can understand.. he simply.. does.. not... care. BECAUSE you see Ted like The Rock has explained time and time again to you, the people are drawn to the guys that simply have it. They are drawn to the guys who can bring it, who can whoop ass, and who can entertain. You can't do any of those things.. well except bring it. Yeah Ted, you can bring it. Like if say.. Chris Jericho needed a coffee before a Warfare.. well you could be the guy to bring it. If one of the divas.. or Tyler Breeze.. needs some extra blush. well then you could be the guy to "bring it." But when it comes to whopping ass, entertaining, and bringing something other than coffee, make up, or excuses to the table, you fall way short. You see Ted, like it or not, The Rock is back.. he's in your spotlight.. he's got the championship that you for so long, and still do, call your own.. and HE like that title.. isn't going anywhere.

Whiny voice.

The Rock: BUT DADDY I want to beat The Rock.

Ted Sr. baritone.

The Rock: Tough shit son.

The Rock smiled before delivering his last line.

The Rock: Tough shit.. indeed..
