OOC: Just a small one today, didn't really have too much time with work and my final exams.
Ted was at the Fargodome before the EBWF King of the Ring special went live. Ted was scheduled to face Konnor from The Ascension, someone who Ted was unfamiliar with and didn't really care too much about. He had been unsuccessful in becoming Path to Glory Champion, but managed to gain some revenge by costing The Rock his chance to become King of the Ring.
Renee Young: Welcome everyone, with me at this time is Ted DiBiase who is scheduled to face Konnor, one half of The Ascension, later tonight in a first round match in the King of the Ring Tournament. What are your thoughts going into this match?
Ted Jr: I've actually got a question for you, who is Konnor?
Renee Young: He's one half of The Ascension, a new tag team in EBWF?
Ted Jr: I'm still not following.
Ted had a blank look on his face.
Renee Young: He looks like the Road Warriors?
Ted Jr: That's Konnor!? Tonight is going to be a breeze.
Renee Young: Are you sure you're not taking him lightly?
Ted Jr: You tell me what he has done that I haven't? Is he a multiple tag team champion? No. Has he even won a match here that wasn't a tag team match? The difference between tag and singles wrestling is you have to look out for yourself, there's nobody in your corner to help you when things get rough. So tonight when I'm dismantling Konnor he'll be calling out for help from his partner but it won't come and his chances of becoming King will be extinguished tonight.
Renee Young: On Warfare you shocked everyone reuniting with The Miz and costing The Rock his chance of winning the King of the Ring Tournament, do you have anything to say about that?
Ted Jr: Ted DiBiase, The Miz back together again? You've probably seen it before but let me just remind you what happens when we're a team. We win matches. We win championships. We beat anyone and everyone that gets in our way. Warfare was a small taste of what will happen in the future. If I were Ryback and Wade Barrett, I'd start taking pictures of those Tag Titles while you can. Because when Miz and I decide we might want them, they'll be ours. There won't be a fight or a challenge, we'll take them. Just like one of us is going to take the King of the Ring crown.
