At this particular EBWF event, the crowd went wild when "Aphrodite" by Kylie Minogue hit the PA system. After being quiet over these last few weeks, it seemed as though Torrie Wilson had something to say to the EBWF Universe. She came out smiling, but nowhere near a smile of her usual caliber. Torrie made her way into the ring and looked out to the crowd amidst their fading reaction.
TORRIE WILSON: "I've been doing a lot of thinking over these last few weeks...And I have to be honest, it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows like a lot of you think I'm all about."
Torrie looked down at the mat.
TORRIE WILSON: "There's no sense in lying to you guys when you've witnessed the way my career has been going recently first hand. From failing to capture the Women's Championship at Death Before Dishonor, to losing out on being Queen of the Ring...I just can't help but feel a little discouraged. I'm actually to the point where I'm a little bit unsure of how I can come back from it all. I mean--"
SHE'S GOT LEGS...
Torrie instantly turned her head as Kid Rock's rendition of "Legs" cut her off mid-sentence. The crowd broke out into a frenzy and their focus also went to the stage. When Stacy Keibler emerged, the volume of the arena increased due to the cheering. Torrie, although confused at first, smiled as well as Stacy made her way to the ring. Stacy's signature entrance garnered the same cat calls that it always did, with Torrie even playing into it and taking a peak at Stacy's backside. Once Stacy got in the ring, she and Torrie hugged before Stacy snatched up a microphone of her own from ringside. Taking a moment to pose in the middle of the ring, Stacy only garnered more cheers and loved every second of it. When the noise died down, Torrie looked to Stacy as if questioning her presence.
STACY KEIBLER: "Torrie, I am so sorry to interrupt you, but the way you were talking about comebacks...I just couldn't resist coming out here and talking about a comeback of my own."
Stacy grinned at Torrie, who obviously was not informed of this beforehand.
STACY KEIBLER: "Now I know the EBWF Universe didn't think I was just going to send out a few tweets and leave it at that, because unlike some people, I've got a bite to match my bark. And that's why I'm here to announce that as of tonight, I, Stacy Keibler, am back in EBWF."
The audience showed their love of the announcement by roaring up in cheers and applause once again. Torrie appeared shocked, but pleasantly shocked. Just as Torrie was about to say something in response to it, Stacy got to it first.
STACY KEIBLER: "I know what you're wondering...I know what all of you are wondering. You're wondering why I'm back. Why, after four long years, am I now deciding to step back into this environment? Well, it's because I'm needed."
Stacy shrugged nonchalantly as Torrie became confused once again.
STACY KEIBLER: "Don't think that just because I've been strutting my way along the red carpets of Hollywood to the very top of the A-list that I've completely written off where I've come from. I've kept up with everything EBWF since I left, and it's apparent that this place is in desperate need of some damage control...namely when it comes to the Divas. And who better to do so than me? We all know I've always been one to keep things in line...ahem...George Clooney...ahem..."
Name dropping her ex caused a rise in the crowd. At this point, Torrie had given up on whatever it was she wanted to say previously, allowing Stacy to take full control.
STACY KEIBLER: "There's been an obvious shift in the Diva's division recently. We've gone from the great days of Lita, Trish, Natalya, Angelina, Torrie, and myself of course, to what? To who? A bunch of newbies with a fraction of the experience and a fraction of the personality. Do you know the worst part is, we just let it happen! And when I say 'we', I of course mean, well..."
Stacy tilted her head slightly and slowly turned to look at Torrie. The crowd murmured at the shot Stacy took at the veteran Divas, one of which included her best friend who was standing in the ring with her. Torrie, understandably, was a little taken back and looked highly offended. Once again, Torrie attempted to get a word in, but Stacy did not let her.
STACY KEIBLER: "Now, now...I don't mean to ruffle your little feathers. I'm just saying...look at what's been going on around here. Just this past week, Trish Stratus got beat out by someone who runs around calling herself a 'mean girl' as if her life is anything like the movie. The week before that, Angelina Love got knocked out of the tournament and out of the company! Natalya was no better...and you..."
Torrie glared into Stacy's eyes, causing Stacy to cut herself off before she really said something to upset Torrie.
STACY KEIBLER: "What I'm trying to say is...I'm having a hard time believing that a bunch of juvenile newbies have found their way to the top of this company when there are still so many legends like yourself walking around. And the worst part is that you've been letting it happen. Torrie, the last time you were in this ring, you were looking at Brie Bella, and she said horrible things about you. The Torrie I knew, the Torrie these fans knew, wouldn't have let her get away with that, because without that Torrie, there would be no Brie Bella. And yet, she's still standing...standing in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament that is. But I guess I can't come down too hard, because what's anything without glue to hold it together? Luckily, the glue is back."
Stacy pointed to herself while Torrie crossed her arms and just watched her.
STACY KEIBLER: "I'm ready to get this division back in check...starting at King of the Ring. And, Torrie, you're going to be doing it right by my side."
Torrie cocked an eyebrow.
STACY KEIBLER: "You know more than anyone just how tired everyone is of these 'Mean Girls.' And when I say everyone, that includes our friends at HQ who have been dying for deserving, iconic women to reclaim the top of the Diva's division. That's why the two of us are going to be teaming up in my first match back this Sunday against two other, not as relevant but still irritating, newbies, Emma and Becky Lynch. And when we win, we'll go on to also win the Women's Tag Team Championships from my knockoffs...aka 'The Mean Girls.'"
Stacy smiled at her second big announcement for the night, and Torrie's expression changed to one of positive emotion as well, knowing what was to come.
STACY KEIBLER: "It's going to be like old times, Tor. Now that I'm back to give the entire division, especially you as my best friend, the push it needs, we're going to be back doing what only we do best...making examples of out girls who think they can come in here and somehow make everyone forget why we will always be staples in this company."
Torrie was now smiling to match Stacy's, showing that they were both on the same page.
STACY KEIBLER: "Together, we're going to put an end to the foolishness that has been going on for much too long. Because at the end of the day, the two of us know that no one does it like we can; not an unstable Australian, a belligerent Irish fool, and especially not a pack of second rate Regina Georges."
"Legs" blared throughout the arena once again and Stacy took Torrie's hand to lead her from the ring. Both Divas headed to the back, knowing that the momentum of Stacy's return was on their side.
