Lions Play Too Rough

Mankind screams to the heavens as he stands outside of the arena. He doesn't seem to be aware of the camera watching him as he slams the side of his fist against the outer wall.
“Your daddy doesn't have your back this week, Teddy. He isn't standing in your corner, he hasn't even mentioned the simple fact that you exist in this company since he first arrived. No, he's hanging all of his medals on his new golden boy, leaving you out in the cold. How does that make you feel? Oh sure, no doubt you'll tell me that you don't care, you've made it on your own in this business, but this is beyond business, he's found himself a new son. Traded you for a newer, bigger, stronger, faster model, tossing you aside like nothing more than a piece of trash. Deny it all you want, you're only fooling yourself.”
He chuckles, shaking his head a bit wildly.
“But don't worry Teddy, I know what it feels like to be tossed aside. I know what it feels like to be on top of the world at one minute and then down literally in the dumps the next. You and I we have some things in common. But where I stand out from you is the simple fact that I can acknowledge my downfalls. I can look at where I've fallen and I can push myself back up each and every time. You, you don't even admit you have a problem, and when you can't admit that simple truth to yourself then you'll never be able to push yourself back up. You'll just continue to spiral ever downward until it consumes you alive.”
He twirls his hand in the motion as he speaks, pointing down at the ground until his arm is straight and he stops the twirling, pausing as he's looking and pointing at the ground, a slight smirk forming on his lips.
“There are some that are saying that my career is currently headed on that downward spiral. They can talk about that all they want, it doesn't matter to me. I know full well that I have never won a match here in the EBWF, but it's not about winning week after week, it's about pushing people to be the best. There's no one out there that can say I haven't brought out the best in my competitors each time I step into this ring. I've been robbed of victory time and time again but if it was a win that motivated me to be in this business then I would have packed up and moved out years ago.”
Mankind chuckles lightly, letting his arm drop to his side.
“I'd wish you luck out there Teddy, but we both know you'd just laugh at that and throw it back in my face. I'll see you soon, Teddy Bear.”
He grins, turning and walking away as the scene fades out.
