I Don't Care

OOC: Not the best from me, with graduation and my birthday I haven't had much time this week to put anything decent out.

It was another week and another Warfare where Ted was scheduled for a match. At this stage Ted no longer cared who he faced, and he would find out when he arrived at the arena. Ted stepped out of a limousine wearing his usual attire of a smart jet black suit. As he walked to building he was stopped by Todd Grisham who had a camera man with him.

Todd Grisham: Ted! I was wondering if I could get a couple of words from you about your match tonight.

Ted Jr: Make it quick.

Todd Grisham: Tonight you'll be facing Mankind, what are your thoughts on that?

Ted pretended to be shocked.

Ted Jr: Mankind? I'm so scared. I don't think I can even compete with someone like Mankind.

Todd Grisham: You do remember that he did beat you last time the two of you faced off.

Ted's cheerful attitude turned annoyed once Todd mentioned Ted's loss.

Ted Jr: Really Todd? We're going to bring that up? You do realise that I don't care about these pointless matches against Mankind. If I win or lose it means nothing. I am a legend in EBWF and I will not be disrespected by you.

As Ted started to get angry one of his Vertex members Kyle O'Reilly walked up next to him. The two shared a look, and nodded as a welcome.

Ted Jr: I don't care about these pointless matches because I'm creating the future of EBWF. This man standing next to me is Kyle O'Reilly, you may have heard of him. He's going to be the next big thing here in EBWF. Finn Balor and Kevin Owens, they're going to the next big things in EBWF. The Miz and I have taken them under our wing and we are guiding them to the top of EBWF. We've achieved so much between us and we've seen what these three can do and it's only a matter of time before more gold comes our way.

Todd Grisham: Since you're here Kyle, what are your thoughts on this group, the Vertex?

Kyle stepped up towards Todd, still maintaining some distance between the two.

Kyle O'Reilly: When I first walked into this company, I was out there backstage and nobody noticed me. Nobody spoke to me or looked my way. But when I was out there and I beat the living hell out of Edge and Randy Orton, two of the most decorated wrestlers in the industry, I stood there in the ring with Kevin and Finn and when we walked backstage people couldn't take their eyes off of us. They were whispering about us, they didn't know what to expect and they still don't know. We are the new guys on the block and we made our mark. We took out one of the best tag teams in history and they haven't been sighted since. It was Miz and Ted that helped us, they saw ability and potential in us when nobody else did and now we've set a platform for us to get to the top.

Todd Grisham: So Ted, would defeating Mankind not help The Vertex?

Ted Jr: Does Mankind have a championship? No. Tyler Breeze, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn. They're the only ones that a win matters. We are the group that can take it all. A defeat over a washed up loser like Mick Foley does nothing for me. He's living in the past and still holding onto a gimmick that hasn't been relevant for 2 decades. Mick Foley is the past, I'm the present and Kyle O'Reilly, he's the future. Now get out of my way.

Ted pushed past Todd and left with Kyle. Ted knew that a match with Mankind wasn't anything that he cared about, he wanted the best fights, the tough matches with championships on the line. He wanted to defeat champions and bring more gold to the Vertex.
