Absolutely Nothing

OOC: Just a quick one this week from me. Best of luck to everyone!

The scene opened up backstage after the September 14th episode of Warfare. Vertex was seen in their entirety laughing about what had just taken place. They had left Sami Zayn lying helpless in the middle of the ring. Michael Cole ran up to them and started to talk to them.

Michael Cole: Guys if I could just get a minute of your time.

The Miz smirked at Cole.

The Miz: Make it quick Cole- some of us have places to be.

Michael Cole: I go places..

Ted DiBiase: Yeah from your couch to the fridge.. back to the couch.

Ted patted Cole on his extra "padding."

Michael Cole: So you just left Sami Zayn in the ring a bloody mess- was this to make a statement.

The Miz: The statement is loud and clear Cole. Sami Zayn is way out of his league here with me. It's a numbers game he can't win. He thought he'd get the better of me, but he'll learn just as Solomon Crowe did last month, that playing around with Vertex is the last mistake he'll ever make in the EBWF.

Michael Cole: Next week, it's just been announced that Kyle O'Reilly and Finn Balor will go up against Luke Harper and Stardust.. your thoughts on that.

Finn Balor looked at Miz who nodded and gestured to go forth and speak.

Finn Balor: Were you not listening to Miz there Cole? It doesn't matter who the hell it is. Weird takes on a new meaning when it comes to the team of Luke Harper and Stardust, lucky enough, we don't really care how weird they are. Everybody's the same when they are lying unconscious on the mat. Which is exactly the way we plan to leave Harper and Stardust on Warfare. To say we aren't worried is an understatement. Everybody thinks that myself, Kyle, and Kevin are all the henchmen of Miz and Ted here, and maybe to an extent they are right, but you don't get to be a henchmen by being a pussy, you get to be a henchmen for the best two wrestlers in this industry, because they see what you can bring to the table. They see that you are, exactly what we are, and that is ass kicking machines. Kyle and I are going to beat the bizarre off of those two freaks on Warfare. Plain and simple.

Kyle O'Reilly: Call us what you want, but the fact is.. ANYBODY who has gotten in our path over the last month and a half we have put down. We have laid waste to every loud mouth that has made the mistake of trying to stop the Vertex. Some people have tried physically, others through hating on us in interviews or whatever the case may be. The thing that they all have in common is that same helpless look on their face, when they realize JUST HOW MUCH TROUBLE THEY ARE IN going against us. That's a look that we all look forward to seeing.. a look that we will see from Harper and Stardust at Warfare. They are crazy Cole, nuts, off their rocker.. but they are more unhinged than we even thought if they think that they are going to walk out of Warfare under their own power.

Miz and Ted smiled, Kyle looked at Miz.

The Miz: Nice dude.

Kyle O'Reilly: Thanks.

The Miz: Any other questions Cole?

Michael Cole: Don't you think you're underestimating them?

The Miz: Really?

Michael Cole: Well they are a very successful team here in EB..

The Miz: REALLY COLE?! Seriously.. like I don't understand you. Every single time you do this.. you play this game.. they aren't underestimating them.. they aren't estimating at all.. they are telling you what's going to happen. They are going to destroy Stardust and Luke Harper. They are part of the Vertex.. which means they get to think nothing of the people that they face.. because compared to us.. the people that they face ARE NOTHING.

Finn Balor: Nothing Cole.

Kyle O'Reilly: Absolutely.. positively.. NOTHING. What you think Ted? One for the road?

Ted had got on all fours behind Cole, Michael didn't notice.

Michael Cole: Hu...

Before he could get "Huh?" out O'Reilly shoved Cole who went toppling over Dibiase. This caused laughter from the entire group. As they walked off and the scene faded to black.
