Matt Striker is seen fixing himself up, making sure his tie is on straight and his suit is not dusty. He gives a nod to the camera as he begins walking down the corridor, eventually coming up on Torrie Wilson stretching for her match. Matt calls out to her, instantly grabbing her attention.

MATT STRIKER: "Torrie! Can I get a word in with you before you go out there?"

TORRIE WILSON: "Of course!"

Torrie hikes herself up, flashing Matt a smile. The blonde's seemingly good mood rubs off on Matt instantly, a trait she has always possessed.

MATT STRIKER: "You're about to compete against Trish Stratus and Velvet Sky for a shot at the Women's Championship. The three of you are among the most seasoned EBWF Divas, but have arguably taken a backseat as of late to some of the newer talent. How are you feeling with this opportunity being presented to you?"

TORRIE WILSON: "I have to say...it's about time! I'm really excited, as I always am, to get in the ring with Trish and Velvet. Those girls are my great friends, and given our longevity as Divas, it'll be nice to finally bring that classic spice back to the division."

It looks as if Torrie is about to leave it at that, but Matt keeps her around, trying to pry a little more out of her than that.

MATT STRIKER: "Is there anything else you'd like to say to Trish and Velvet, though? I mean, of course all three of you are respectable competitors, but just in case there's a chance that they are among the few who don't feel you're of the same caliber as you were in the past. You never know what's going through your opponents' heads."

TORRIE WILSON: "Well-- You know what? I actually have something to say to you, Matt. I feel like you're trying to be nice here, just because you're in my face, but at the same time...you keep bringing up the subject of me not being on the same level as I once was, and I'd like to know why."

Tilting her head, Torrie stares at Matt, her tone of voice changing to match.

TORRIE WILSON: "Is there something you'd like to say to me, Matt? Because it seems like underneath this whole facade, you aren't quite certain I still have what it takes to be the Women's Champion and be at the top of this division."

MATT STRIKER: "No, that's not what I meant at all! I was just saying--"

TORRIE WILSON: "Just saying what? Let me tell you something, I'm so sick of everyone 'just saying' all this crap at my expense. Every time my name is brought up around here, it's never recognizing my accomplishments, it's never acknowledging my role as a locker-room leader, it's never about how I'm in better shape at forty than most people are at twenty...it's always about disregarding the past, it's always about counting me out, it's always the negatives. Well, guess what? No more. If you want a real quick fact, my trophy case is bigger than any other Diva in EBWF history, and that's for a reason. And it's about to grow even more so. I'm done being looked over. So, the next time you, or anyone else has something to say about where I've been in my career lately, I'm going to politely direct your flapping lips right to where the sun doesn't shine, because that's where you can kiss it. Got it?"

MATT STRIKER: "Got it..."

TORRIE WILSON: "Good! Now you make sure to pay close attention tonight, okay?"

With that, Torrie's look of annoyance suddenly turns back into a smile as she waves in Matt's face and prances off.

I felt like Torrie needed a new personality, so this happened. Not meant as a full heel turn, but I'll continue to elaborate more on it as we go on. :)
