The scene fades in on the backstage arena just moments after Jeff Hardy had his first match back with EBWF against Tyler Breeze. Jeff a little disappointed about losing his return match stands in the backstage area shaking his head. He thought he had the match won as he looked to the camera. He shook his head and pushed the camera back. He wanted nothing to do with it but they kept insisting.
Jeff Hardy: What?! What do you want? You want to know what I am feeling right now? Is that seriously a question you are going to ask me? I feel terrible and I am pissed off. I lost my return match to Tyler Breeze and broke a promise I made. I have never done that in my life. I have kept every promise I have ever made to my little girl and now I get to go home and tell her that her daddy is a failure. Do you know what that is going to do to her? That is going to destroy her. I should have been able to walk away from that match with a victory and now I am standing here a loser with nothing to show for it. I am standing here a broken man and I wonder if it was a mistake to come back here.
Jeff pushed the camera away and walked down the hallway as he threw a water bottle down the hall he was walking. The camera followed for a minute before it finally faded away.
Scene 2 : Three Days Later
The scene opens up in the hotel room of Jeff Hardy. He had continued to travel with EBWF after a conversation with Wes Ikeda. He was ensured that this was the right move for him and he knew that it was true. Jeff was just frustrated with the fact that he lost to someone like Tyler Breeze. Someone who spends more time looking in a mirror then paying attention to who his opponents are. Jeff was on his cell phone as a smile came across his face. He held up one finger to tell the camera to wait.
Jeff Hardy: Thank you Wes and I promise I will not let this opportunity go to waste. I will walk out as a winner and prove that I made the right choice in coming back.
Jeff hung up his phone and turned to look at the camera. He smiled a bit as he stood there tossing his phone onto his bed.
Jeff Hardy: We all know that the pay per view Destiny is coming up and I was just informed that I will have another shot at Tyler Breeze but this time his Breakout Championship will be on the line. The only problem is there will be another superstar in this match. There will be Roman Reigns poking into my business. I may have been doubting myself a few days ago but now I am sure that I can do this and that I should be here. Now I can go out there at Destiny and take the one thing that Tyler Breeze holds so dear to him. I can take that championship and show him that his victory was just a fluke. Tyler you fought a good match and you beat me I can’t deny it. I will never forgive myself for losing that match but I can come back and take that championship belt. I can come back and become the champion that this company needs and I will take it from you. The Breakout title is coming home with me.
Jeff smiled a little and ran his hand through his hair. His eyes never let the camera as he sighed a bit before taking a deep breath.
Jeff Hardy: Roman Reigns I saw what you did to the Undertaker last week and it was impressive not many people can say they beat the Deadman in a match well unless you are me of course. Roman you deserve to be in this match just as much as I do but let me make one thing clear to you. I do not care who you are or who your cousin is. I am here to make sure no one ever forgets the name Jeff Hardy. Now listen to me Roman. I am going to do whatever I have to in order to walk away with the Breakout Championship. I have put my body on the line for way less and this time things are not going to be different. We have something in common Roman we are both fathers. We both have little girls at home who watch and look up to us. You know how it feels to go home and tell your daughter you failed her right? I had to do that a few days ago and I vowed to her that I would never do it again. So this week things are going to go my way. The Breakout Championship is coming home with me because my little girl will be sitting ringside to watch her daddy walk out as a champion!
Jeff turned for a minute picking his phone up off the bed as he flipped through it to find a number. He looked back to the camera as a small smile formed on his face again.
Jeff Hardy: Tyler Breeze and Roman Reigns the two of you may want to have that Breakout Championship but I want it more. I need it more then I have ever needed anything else in my entire life. I have one last shot in this business and this is the first step for me to get to the top again. This is where I show everyone that I am truly the greatest superstar in this business. It is time for Jeff Hardy to get back on top of the ladder. I will be the EBWF World Champion again and there is no one who can stop that. The Breakout Championship is only the first step and the Creatures of the night will rise and help me fight off the demons I see in Roman Reigns and Tyler Breeze. Now if you will excuse me.
Jeff pressed on his phone as a beeping sound was heard. He had a smile on his face as the beeping stopped.
Jeff Hardy: Hi Princess, Daddy has a surprise for you.
Jeff waved the camera off as it slowly backed away. The only thing that could be heard was the faint sounds coming as Jeff spoke with his daughter. The camera walked out the door as the scene faded away.
