A Champions Return

The scene fades in just moments after Jeff Hardy defeated Tyler Breeze to claim the Breakout Championship a Destiny. Jeff is backstage and a group of people can be seen clapping for him. He smiled looking to them all and thanking them as he slowly made his way through the crowd. He stopped and grabbed a bottle of water when the camera finally got to him. He looked up and smiled a bit the title draped over shoulder.
Jeff Hardy: You all saw that. You all saw me go out to that ring and do the one thing I said I was going to do. I got into the ring with Tyler Breeze and I pinned him 1…2…3 to capture this championship belt. I am the new Breakout Champion and there is nothing I can’t do now. My next stop is the Intercontinental title and then I will be going for the World championship. I have my goals se and now that I have struck gold in only my second match back here in EBWF. I know now that this is where I am meant to be this is where I get back to the top of the wrestling world. I can proudly say that this place is my home. I am back where I belong and I can promise that I am never going to leave again. Now if you don’t mind I have to go call my daughter now and tell her that her Daddy is champion once again.
Jeff smiled and adjusted the belt on his shoulder before taking a sip from his water bottle. He walked down the hall shaking hands with many of the superstars in the back before walking into his locker room. He closed the door as the scene slowly faded away.
Scene 2: October 2nd, 2015
The scene fades in almost a week after the events that happened at Destiny. Jeff was sitting in his hotel room with the Breakout Championship next to him. He had his phone in front of him and he smiled as he looked down at it.
Jeff Hardy: Alright sweetheart I will talk to you later. I love you very much princess.
Ruby Hardy: Bye Daddy! I love you too!
Jeff pressed the button on his phone and looked up at the camera with a small smile on his face. He placed the phone on the bed and grabbed his Breakout Championship placing it on his shoulder. He looked to the camera for a moment before going to speak.
Jeff Hardy: This week will be my first match as the reigning and defending Breakout Champion and I find myself in a match with Bad News Barrett. I honestly am more prepared for this match then I have been for any other in my career. I am a new man since I won this championship. Going into my title match I was thinking maybe that coming back was a bad move and that I should just retire for good. Now that I hold this title I know that I have a lot more to offer the wrestling world. I can get to the top of the mountain once again and it will only take time for me to get there. Barrett I am not going to be one of those champions who wins the title and then falls to the very first man who faces him in a match. I am not going to fall to someone who is not even fit to lace up my boots.
Jeff smirked a little before laughing a bit. He readjusted his championship looking down at it before looking back to the camera.
Jeff Hardy: I have one thing left to do and that is to go out to that ring each and every week and show the world why I am a champion. If I had it my way I would defend my championship each and every week just to prove that I have no fears. Barrett I want you to bring on the challenge and prove that you are a man who deserves to step into that ring with me. Prove you are someone who can be worthy of facing me for this championship. Tyler Breeze may have a rematch and I will gladly give it to him but as of right now my concern is finding the next worthy challenger. I beat Breeze once already so I already know that I can kick his ass. Barrett you may be the keeper of bad news but I have a bit of it for you. There is no chance I am losing a match to you. I am here to be at the top of my game and this week is going to be no different when we go one on one with each other. I will be taking home another victory and there is nothing you can do to stop me. I will have a champions welcome on Warfare because those people all believe in me. They were all happy to see me take this title from the pretty boy Tyler Breeze and they want to see me continue to walk away with this championship belt.
Jeff smirked a bit looking at the camera. He took the championship from his shoulder and placed it on the bed. He grabbed some water from the table and drank it before looking back to the camera.
Jeff Hardy: I am ready for everything that is going to be thrown my way. I am not playing games anymore and Barrett you are my next step up the ladder. I hope you are seriously ready for this match because the creatures are going to rise and we are taking over! I will see you on Warfare!
Jeff smirked again and motioned for the camera to leave his room. Jeff grabbed his phone again and redialed the number calling his daughter back so they could continue the conversation. Jeff and her spoke but I was faintly heard as the camera slowly faded away.
