It was a windy, sunny day in Las Vegas. As Wade Barrett approached Dino’s Lounge on South Las Vegas Boulevard, he looked around for Ryback. Knowing that his tag team partner was always late, Barrett had deliberately asked Ryback to arrive 30 minutes earlier than Barrett himself had planned to get there. But, to Barrett’s disappointment, there was still no sign of Ryback. Letting out a desperate grunt, Wade pulled his cellphone out of his pocket, but before he could find the R in his contact directory, the glass front window from Dino’s Lounge shattered and out jumped the human wrecking ball known as Ryback, black smoke fumed out of the broken window, the red glowing of flames behind him. He dusted one of his shoulders and waved at his good friend Barrett, before approaching him. Barrett looked at him, dumbstruck.

Wade Barrett: Bloody hell, Ryback. What did you do?!

Ryback turned over his shoulder and looked at the totaled business, he shrugged.

Ryback: What do you mean what did I do? Am I not the human wrecking ball? HAHAHA!

Wade Barrett: I know I said to send a message to Ambrose… but did you just commit arson?

Ryback didn’t know where to begin… If by explaining his actions or by asking what arson was.

Ryback: Eh… Sure… You know me! I am all about sending messages! I also hate empty kitchens… Could you believe there were no chicken wings? What kind of bar has no food? This is worse than that English bar you took me to, the one with no chairs.

Barrett sighed.

Wade Barrett: I heard he had good pool tables… was hoping to play a few games. But hey, at least you’ve sent a message to Ambrose. I’m pretty sure that bar was his most prized possession.

Ryback: A bar without chicken wings? I doubt it. Hey! Speaking of sending a message…

Out of the broken window, the platinum blonde EBWF announced Renee Young stepped out. Her cheeks still coated in coal and dirt from the fire.

Ryback: For no reason whatsoever, here’s the girl who does interviews… Convenient eh?

Barrett smirked.

Wade Barrett: Very convenient.

Renee approached Barrett and Ryback, glaring at Ryback then looking at Barrett as if holding him responsible for Ryback’s actions.

Ryback: What? You’re looking at me like I burnt your house down or something.

Renee Young: I swear this is the last time I agree to interview you anywhere other than an EBWF arena.

Renee clicked her fingers and, as if by magic, an EBWF makeup assistant came over and cleaned her up. Moments later, a cameraman joined them and as the camera started rolling, Renee turned to Barrett and Ryback.

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here in Las Vegas with Wade Barrett and Ryback who, in a few days time, take on the EBWF Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins at Fanniversary. Wade, Ryback, I’d like to start by asking you… what brings you to Las Vegas?

Renee managed to stop herself rolling her eyes even though she already knew the answer to the question she was asking.

Ryback: If you never watched that Black and White Movie, Renee let me tell you: Las Vegas is Sin City, AKA Rybackville… I come and go as I please, and I usually love grabbing a good grub when I am in town… Sadly, sometimes I come across Junk as the one behind us at this time… We can’t have a crap restaurant on Rybackville can we?

Renee looked behind her at Dino’s Lounge, which firefighters were now tending to. The cameraman followed Renee’s line of vision.

Renee Young: Between me is… was… Dino’s Lounge, also known as Dean Ambrose’s bar. An unfortunate “accident” resulted in the bar catching fire a short while ago...

Barrett cut her off.

Wade Barrett: Yeah, Ryback and I came here to send a message to Dean Ambrose, but it looks like someone else got there first. You never know what’s going to happen in Las Vegas…


Ryback: Someone got there first? Not the delivery man with food which is QUINTESSENTIAL for any Bar and Restaurant, I can tell you that! Now, it would have been such a shame if either of them or their girlfriends were in this place as it got burned to the ground… This is just a metamor, meta, morpho, a… FUCKING MESSAGE! Just like this building was burnt to the ground, their legacy will be burnt to the ground after our match!

Wade Barrett: You see Renee, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins stepped onto our turf when they took the Tag Team Titles. So now we’re stepping onto their turf. What happened to Dean’s bar was a tragic accident… but there will be no accident on Sunday. What happens on Sunday will be… justice.

Renee Young: You’re taking on Rollins and Ambrose in a tables match, where to win the match, you’ll need to put both of your opponents through a table. Do you prefer these sort of matches, or would you rather compete in a standard tag match?

Ryback: I believe when you are on top of the world like Wade and myself, the match stipulations are just details… Because whether it is a ladder match, a tables match or a “Burn your opponent’s bar” match, we will go out there and give it our best… Weren’t you watching last week Renee? Miz needed TWO of his Skull Crushing Finales to put me down… What have Rollins and Ambrose got? I can tell you what Wade and I got… We are brothers from different sides of the pond, we go shoulder to shoulder on battles, we prove we are the best! Night in and out, against the World Champ or against losers like… What’s the name of the guy you beat every week, Wade? Point in case, we are a unit in the ring, we have the height, we have the power and the strength to put BOTH Dean and Seth through the same table if needed. I’d love to see Ambrose putting ME through a table! HAHAHA!

Renee Young: Well Ryback, last week on Warfare, Ambrose did manage to put your partner, Wade Barrett, through a table. And it seems as though he was planning to go after you before the EBWF General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin, intervened. So I’m sure he’ll want still want revenge… after all, it was you that powerbombed Ambrose through a table a few weeks ago on Warfare.

Before Ryback could respond, Barrett intervened.

Wade Barrett: There’s no revenge to be had, Renee. Ryback was getting revenge on Ambrose when he put him through the table, and Ambrose responded by going after me. Stone Cold gave him an excuse… really, he’s scared of the Big Guy. And can you blame him? Look at Ryback, he’s a beast. He’s probably eaten a table at least once…

Ryback: I have told you a million times, I was told that table was edible!

Both Renee and Wade looked at Ryback, rather frightened and disgusted.


Ryback: The thing is, it doesn’t matter who was the first to put someone through a table, or who did it last week. It is all about what will happen at Fanniversary! You have seen what I can do! You saw Miz limping up towards his locker room last week, you know these meathooks are responsible for those injuries! And when I crack a table with Dean and Seth’s humanity… You will realize the power of Ryback!

Wade Barrett: I’ve said it before, Renee, and I’ll say it again. Ryback and I, we’re warriors. Like Ryback said before, we’ll take on any match type. Because no matter what the stipulation, when we get into the ring we’ll do what we do best - fight. Dean Ambrose is a fighter too, and Rollins, he’s a talented guy. But when it comes to power and raw strength, the two of them don’t compare to us. We’ll wear them down, and when they’re battered and bruised, we’ll finish them off. Tables will be broken, Rollins and Ambrose will be broken, and most importantly… their Tag Title reign will be broken. For Ryback and me, this is our chance at redemption. And I promise you, we won’t waste it. Come on Ryback, let’s go to Arizona.

Ryback: Can we stop for chicken wings?!

As the camera cut off, Renee could be heard muttering “what an idiot” to herself.
